hehe ghost-turbo haunting felix au
turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else
now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident
also I went crazy in tags, feel free to check them out

Broke (2016): BBC Sherlock is a phenomenal piece of media and anything that seems like a flaw just hasn't been fully explored yet
Woke (2020): BBC Sherlock is an incredibly flawed series run by an egotistical writer, it never deserved the hype and is actively bad on so many fronts (especially representation)
Bespoke (2024): BBC Sherlock is flawed and bogged down by increasingly poor writing, which many fans refused to see while it was airing, leading to hugely misplaced expectations (particularly for the final series), AND it has the seeds of some compelling characterizations and portrayals, some genuinely solid performances, and touches--albeit imperfectly--on complexities that are still being discussed today (particularly as it relates to the relationship between Sherlock and John). The huge cultural impact of the show has created a massive pendulum effect in its public perception, leading to most people today remembering a caricature of the show (whether positive or negative) rather than appreciating its nuanced merits and failings...that being said Season 4 sucked

I'm actually feeling some saltiness stirring in me because all I can think about is how some of the fandom was mad at Izuku for not being able to save Tomura and here he is delivering Tomura's message to Spinner and talking with him... meanwhile the folks that ABANDONED LITTLE TENKO ON THE STREET SUCH AS THAT OLD WOMAN IS BAD TALKING HIM AND SAYING THEY'RE GLAD HE'S DEAD.
Wonder if all that hate will go to them. You know, the folks who didn't try to understand Tomura and relieved of his death unlike the whole teenager who at least attempted.
"But, Kiya, why would they try to understand why he's a villain?"
I don't know! It just seemed this fandom sometimes wants the villains to be empathize with and yet aren't satisfied even if someone, a child, attempts to even though he wasn't responsible for anything that happened to the villains.
But he's hated on for what he couldn't do despite the fact that those who are partly (the villains do have to also take accountability for their own actions) the reason why the villains become villains still bash them and the fandom seems to forget those people.
Want the villains to be saved and not die, but oh! Forget the reasons why the villains became villains! It's not just family issues! Could be... SOCIETY!
But that's just me!

The Stranding - Chp 73 - Hidden Duality
I was in emergency for 8 hours last night and never got seen by a Doctor, so have a chapter before I go get myself some more sleep to catch up <3
By the time 2am rolled around it had been over an hour and a half since the last person had been called in to be seen, and we had noticed that only the triage nurse and the registration nurse were still there. My province has a wildly concerning lack of Doctors and healthcare professionals right now, and I couldn't wait another 4-5 hours for the next shift change, so we left and went to bed out of it. Hoping I can stave off the worst of the discomfort with over-the-counter medicine until I see my family Doctor on Monday.
Meanwhile, the gang is experiencing some shifts in dynamics that none of them find particularly comfortable as they assess the wreckage of the Swift Landslide. I hope you all enjoy!
Much love and be kind to yourselves <3

I've been doing a lot of grocery delivery in the country lately, so I ordered myself a nice bumper sticker so I fit in with everyone else's stuff :)
I've seen a lot of these lately, but they were all of a pride flag I don't recognize. Not sure which gender/sexuality has the red and white stripes with the blue with white stars in the corner, but I guess it's an ok design. The rainbow is the traditional LGBT flag, though, so I feel it symbolizes the collective queer community a little better and will be a little more noticeable/recognizable than niche flags, like this stars and stripes guy.

You know what my biggest fear is? For people to hate me because they misunderstand me.
I miss having weird irrational fears such as when I was convinced there was a man with corpse paint waiting to kill me hiding behind my upstairs bathroom shower curtain. It was extremely upsetting because I 100% believed it despite it being physically impossible in every way shape or form (there wasn't even room to stand in) but ay least it wasn't rooted in reality and experiences........
