Shouta hates silence. It’s wrong, and reminds him of an empty house and of death.

Hizashi thinks, at first, that Shouta must get fed up of all of his noise. Most people do. He rambles and hums and chatters as he does literally anything, and he’s sure that it must be annoying.

Yet when he apologises, when he tries to stop himself, biting his lip or tapping against his own lips or jaw in silent reminder for himself.

Except Shouta scowls when he does either of those things. He just wants to hear Hizashi, as he says time and again, and eventually Hizashi begins to trust that, to honestly believe that Shouta is saying it out of genuine truth. It doesn’t hurt that, when Hizashi does go silent, Shouta goes tense; when he begins to hum or talk to himself again, those too-sharp lines unspool and slacken, face falling into something that could almost be a smile, eyes softer and brighter.

They listen, they talk, they learn. They find that they fill each other’s space in a way that is almost perfect, and which neither of them could be more grateful for.

Platonic Aizawa and Present mic reaction to reader walking to the dorms with Shinso and find this weird slimy plant thing and what’s to keep it(I be trying to bring weird shit home)

Well mainly Shinso is carrying the snacks, since he's an overprotective bitch.

While the two were walking, Shinso was ranting on why they should allow cats in the dorms.

*Reader sees plant, and goes to pick it up, it kind looks like a slime monster*

"You are coming home with me."

*Reader grinned with a smile, and shinso couldn't disagree and let them take the plant.*

*Aizawa however looked at the plant went he went to do a dormcheck and screamed, causin Hizahi to see wtf is going on and he screamed as well. Almost activating his quirk until Reader calmed his ass down*

"This is now my friend!"

Pro heroes love being guests on Hizashi's show because his interview questions are always like "so in the year X you appeared in this super obscure ad for a pizza store, and I just want to ask: why the ugly uniform" and "before you became a hero you'd go up to people asking if they wanted their cars washed to make ends meet, so have you ever saved someone whose car you did a bad job on?"

And to them this is always delightful because you never know what history he's gonna dig up about you, it's like the pro hero version of Hot Ones yet somehow more chaotic, and Hizashi loves doing it because it gives him an excuse to do a bunch of research into various topics his guests are interested in and there's nothing more joyful than getting to see someone's smile as they launch into a long rant about what it was like to do customer service

(A soft, if slightly bittersweet, take on Shouta having chronic fatigue because I lowkey really hc this!! Also QPP MidEraserMic because why not~)

"Morning, Shou."  He grunts back at the blond, not unkind but just unable to fathom having to put together actual syllables today, helplessly leaning into the forehead kiss that Hizashi leans down to brush against his temple, gentle and fond and enough to lighten Shouta's heart even it can't do anything for his physical weight.

"You two are so adorable," Nemuri coos, teasing with that edge of fond beneath it all that is impossible to miss, at least for the two people who know her best in the world.

Shouta is beyond exhausted, honestly, but at least he has his partners to support him through it all.

Platonic Aizawa and Present Mic, where they come home late, the reader is just sitting in the dark eating and crying and listening to Daddy issues (favorite song to torture me with since I'm fatherless). Honestly, I’ll be good. Then next second, I’m quietly crying in the bathroom, and I’m pretty sure it’s not my depression.

Me making this a small fic like thing cuz I'm still studying be like:

Reader hated it when Erasermic came home late, even if they were overbearing, they missed them.

It’s because their biological father was never there, attachment issues much.

"Time to make some shitty ass noodles and listen to daddy issues." Reader mumbled, as Reader cooked, they dumped a whole ass group of spices in the noodles and the egg they were making. When all that was done, they grabbed some junkfood and hid away in their room

When Erasermic noticed that no lamps were on. “Huh, reader never goes to bed early.” Hizashi mumbled surprised. But when they walked to Reader’s room to check up on them, they heard the song: ‘Daddy issues.

“What the actual fuck- “Aizawa cursed when they opened the door, seeing Reader eating noodles with a weird looking egg and random junk food around them. “Hey! No cursing around our baby!” Hizashi hissed to his husband. “You guys are four hours late!” Reader shouted with a full mouth of food. The couple stared at Reader shocked, switching the light switch so that they see their face. “Is that why you are sitting like this?” Aizawa asked, causing Reader to nod.

“Your assholes left me alone for four hours! And it’s not like I can leave because you fuckers never let me leave the house!”

The two adults chuckled and sat down next to Reader, Hizashi on the left and Aizawa on the right, they couldn't help but smile instead of scolding them for their foul language. “How about we have a family day this week?” Aizawa asked with a smile. “Can we watch a horror movie?”

“One horror movie, and you have to pick out a comedy or romance movie.” Hizashi compromised. Reader nodded well grinning, slurping their noodles and offering a piece of their egg to both their fathers. “You really need to put less spices on your food.” Aizawa mumbled as he ate a small piece. “Or, or, you should learn how to handle spices.”

"TIME FOR CUDDLES!" Hizashi shouted, trying to prevent an argument. Aizawa chuckled and said: "You are stuck with us tonight, kid."
