you took glances at him while walking with your boyfriend. he was cute. his nose and cheeks were red because of cold, his long and black scarf wrapped around his neck and covering his mouth.

“what are you looking at?” he said, you felt the grin even though you couldn’t see his lips.

“you look cute.” you said without hesitation, voice cracking and shivering because of the cold.

“are you cold?” he asked and ignored your compliment.

“kind of…” you said while rubbing your hands together.

“come here,” he reached for your hand and pulled you closer.

you two were extremely close and you couldn’t hide the extra warmth on your cheeks and ears.

he unwrapped the scarf and put one side on your shoulders and then the other one to his.

you couldn’t say anything because of the embarrassment, he couldn’t say anything because he was scared to ruin the moment he was craving for his life.

you two walked in snow slowly and quietly with your shoulders and hands on one another.

you both thought the same thing,

i wish this moment would last forever.

a fruits basket print i did for an art festival :) fruits basket was my first anime and manga, and can honestly say it changed my life (and also my obsession for it might have been why I failed online school...) i was rooting for kyoru since day ONE, and tohru has always been a girl aspire to be like :) especially since losing people i love in my own family, her unconditional kindness is something I will always admire <3 🍙🐈

Seeing you be happy without him.

It hurts but he learned that as long as you continue to be in his life he's happy.

He watches you be happy with your husband from afar and can't help but let a few tears start forming. He wipes them away quickly, because he knows he has no right to be upset. To him, the only thing that matter is your happiness and if being with someone other than him is what make you happy, then it's ok.
