I'm sol, I do art I guess. They/them. Reblogs help much more than likes do!! If you're stopping by for whatever reason, check out my art tag, "sol art," which is also in this post's tags!!! I don't have a lot of time or motivation to do art rn cuz college, but I'll post every now and then!

Will probably block if you don't have a pfp, description, banner, posts, likes or whatever cuz you look like a bot.

Feel free to send asks or dms. I don't do requests, but I do take suggestions if I like them. I reblog a lot and have no queue so I WILL clog dashboards if you follow me. I don't always trigger tag my rbs, but you can ask me to tag my art with something in the ask box if I forgot something. My personal posts (tagged sol text usually) are always okay to reblog unless stated otherwise in the tags.

I most often spam reblog and art Bungou Stray Dogs, Spy x Family, MCYT, Mob Psycho 100, and Chainsaw Man. I don't reblog donation posts. I sometimes also do speedpaints. I use Krita for my art and use an xp pen tablet. Currently super into Bungou Stray Dogs, Chainsaw Man, and MCYT, but have in the past focused on Danganronpa, Kagerou Project, and Kemono Jihen.

I am not a minor, but I would rather not disclose my personal information here past that and my pronouns. I do, however, have an anxiety disorder and autism, so I may phrase things weirdly and over clarify things or seem distant cuz as much as I enjoy talking, it does give me anxiety at first (don't let that stop you from reaching out tho! I like talking!)

I block liberally and I have a DNI: transphobes, homophobes, aphobes, racists, pro-lifers, h*rry p*tter fans [a,a], c*ll me c*rson fans [a,a], death threat senders (no matter to context), anyone that ships (including x readers of) real people (in the case of mcyt, including their smp rp characters) that are uncomfortable with it, irl yandere, and proshippers. Keep in mind that some things on that list are not an indication of how I view them morally, but they are things I'd rather not interact with or view. There's more niche things on the list, but those I just block if I see it. Send me an ask if I break your dni (either off anon or with username included) and I'll unfollow, unreblog, or unlike whatever I did to break it and then block you so I don't accidentally do it again! I usually check for a dni when I follow or reblog, but sometimes I mess up!

“Hold on, Obi-Wan. It’s not your time yet.”

“The infection is eating through the thyroid.”

“Stabilize him!”

“It’ll be alright, little one, don’t cry. Just squeeze my hand.”

“It’s attacking the mandible and sternum. Move, move!”

“It’s going to be alright.”

“Save what you can!”

“Hold on, Obi-Wan. Listen to the Force.”

The tears on Master Qui-Gon’s face looked strange. He had seen him cry before but never over him. It hurt to move his mouth, hurt even more to speak. Hurt— hurt a lot to speak. He wasn’t sure he was actually saying anything. But he tried because Master Qui-Gon looked devastated and Obi-Wan already had broken his heart by choosing to become a Shadow as soon as his return to the Temple was permanent. “The Force is with—“

Obi-Wan opens his eyes. Makes sure the mask is in place.

The rain still hasn’t ceased its steady downpour. He pulls Mace’s robe tight around himself. His own robe, seldom as he uses it, might have been lost on the battlefield where he had dropped it, but semantics. Mace’s spare robe squelches.

Obi-Wan will never be dry again.

Wings snap back into armored plates as the hyperjets power down, and Obi-Wan takes a bit of pleasure watching Cody land silently despite the mass of the clone armor.

“The siege is going well,” Cody says, tapping one of multiple antenna links on his helmet. Obi-Wan smiles under the mask. Quin and Bant have accused him many a times of having weird preferences, but the professionalism and calm control Cody so casually exudes is very, very attractive. The news makes him even more attractive. “Shouldn’t take longer than three months,” Cody continues, optimism apparent even with the vocoder.

Any kind of attraction spurning on Obi-Wan’s wet, frozen body drowns in the rain rather pityfully. “Three months,” he repeats in tap code where he’s gripping the robe.

The helmet turns to him fully. “Yes. It’s going really well.”

Obi-Wan strengthens his resolve to leech off any warmth Cody possesses when they crawl into bed after their shift.

“You can’t ever steal my voice,” Cody repeats in a murmur, fingertip stroking over the words on Obi-Wan’s forearm. He looks up to find blue eyes watching him over the mask. “Is that your sense of humor or your defiance speaking?”

The hand where he started tracing the letters moves back and forth, undecided. A little bit of both, then, Cody guesses.

The hand is retracted, flows so naturally into sign language. “Many tried.”

“Tried to steal your voice?” At Obi-Wan’s nod, Cody shuffles up the bed, re-categorizing the scars he’s seen. “No one was ever successful, I’m guessing.”

“Many broken bones on both sides,” is signed with a careless shrug before Obi-Wan turns serious, determination and the even more familiar defiance spinning Cody close. “I will only ever be silent of my own choosing.”

“Yeah, alright,” Pete says, still wearing that mean and merciless grin. “So who's got a pottery wheel in here?” 

“I'd rather go straight for the kiln, boss,” one of his guys mutters. 

“There any sprinklers?” the other asks doubtfully as he looks around the room. “Clay ain't shit when it gets too wet, right?” 

If Kid had heat vision or ice breath . . . 

Yeah, well. If Kid had heat vision or ice breath, he wouldn't be here, would he. 

“Fire hydrant's on the corner,” Pete says with a mean grin, which is . . . really smart, actually. Smarter than Kid would've expected. 

Not smarter than Superman's memories do, though. 

“How the hell are we getting a fire hydrant open, boss?” the first guy asks incredulously. “Much less fuckin’ aimed.” 

“Hm,” Pete says, his mouth twisting just a little bit humorlessly. “Anybody got a crowbar?” 

“Why the fuck would we have crowbars?” one of his guys says incredulously. Pete laughs. It sounds mean too. 

Kid . . . hesitates. 

Then he claps his hands together once to get their attention. Pete glances down at him, raising an eyebrow. 

“What do you want, kid?” he asks. Kid thinks he understood him fingerspelling earlier, so . . .

c-r-o-w-b-a-r, he signs, then points at himself. He doesn’t have a crowbar, obviously, but it’s the quickest way to say he can handle the hydrant without involving a lot of questions. Or–he thinks it is, anyway. 

Pete narrows his eyes at him. Tilts his head a little. 

“You do realize you'd have to go outside for that,” he says. “Where it might or might not be Clayface.” 

Kid shrugs helplessly. What else is he supposed to do? 

He's–not a superhero. Not Superboy. And even less is he Superman. He'll never be any of those things. But this place is full of people who can't take a hit like he can; can’t take the kind of damage he can. People who don't have TTK to crack that fire hydrant with. 

People he can help. 

So . . . yeah. 

Like he said: what the hell else is he supposed to do? 

Pete looks at him for a moment longer. Then he smirks, and it’s mean again. 

“Fine,” he says. “Just try not to die before you get it done, we don’t have time for fucking around here.” 

yes, sir, Kid signs. Even if might-be-Clayface catches him, he won’t be expecting TTK. He won’t hit hard enough, at least to start, and that’ll mean Kid’ll have the chance to get the hydrant open. 

“Oh, you’re really not from around here, huh,” Pete observes with a snorted laugh, like he’d have any reason to know that a Crime Alley kid would never call anybody “sir” that easy. And Kid’s not a native, obviously, but . . . 

Technically, he’s lived here just about his whole life. The handful of weeks he spent in Metropolis and the things he “remembers” about . . . Smallville, those are . . . 

They’re not his. Not really. Metropolis is Superman’s, and Smallville is Clark Kent’s, and Kid . . . 

Kid’s not from Crime Alley, but he’s only ever been in Gotham, it feels like sometimes. 

It’s easier, when he pretends like that’s true.
