Hi! I hope youâre doing good!! Do you know of any fics that are similar to Weave Soft Spells Over My Sight by AgnesBlue? I loved how kinda weird Derek was in it
I love Bby!Derek!! In his defense being a teenage werewolf is hard! This post may have gotten away from me, hopefully it's weird enough. đ
Weave Soft Spells Over My Sight by AgnesBlue | 51.4K
Derek had blossomed steadily over the past year, growing into his ears and turning even more handsome, if that were possible. But instead of going out and melting the panties off the girls, suddenly he was coming to Stiles all bashed in, demanding that he patch him up like Stiles was some freelance nurse. It was a familiar pattern by now.
Mischief Inc. by MereLoup | 17.2K
Stiles has a thing for the hot teenager who keeps coming into his tattoo shop.
Multidisciplinary Studies by DevilDoll | 51.3K
Stiles is a slightly-older-and-very-sexy librarian and Derek has a thirst for knowledge.
The Lawn Ranger by Snowjob | 47.8K
In which Derek is an adolescent werewolf with a penchant for chocolate bunnies, and instead of the dream summer of lazing around the house playing video games and nibbling on his hoarded supply of easter candy his mother makes him get a job.
In which Stiles is a showoff jock with a broken arm and an embarrassing crush who can no longer push the lawn mower around the yard.
Now as Ever (All That Is and Has Been) by venis_envy | 52.2K | Explicit
Stiles can't remember what happened to rearrange the time-space continuum, or how he ended up being pulled into the past. All he knows is that he's there now, in 2003 Beacon Hills, with a teenage werewolf and a possibly-crazy veterinarian as his only allies.
I Want To Say Yes, Sir | 8.8K | Explicit
âIâve got a 17 year old boy in the back of my car and Iâm running him up to the station.â His dad sighs.
âOooo is he cute?â Stiles asks jokingly.
Stiles can practically hear his Dadâs eye roll. He can hear the Sheriff shift as he turns around to look at the boy in the back. âHey my son wants to know if youâre cute.â
He hears the boy on the other end go after a second of hesitation, âI want to say yes, sir.â
His Dad just cracks up laughing.
One Dollar Yoda by exclamation | 10.7K | Mature
Stiles is an unbonded spark, so heâs been dealing with courting alphas since he was ten. Itâs gotten a lot worse since he turned sixteen. Some are assholes, some are nice, but Stiles hasnât wanted to spend the rest of his life bound to any of them.
When Derek Hale shows up at his school, Stiles expects him to be just another asshole alpha attempting to buy him with expensive gifts. But Derek Hale puts no effort whatsoever into his courtship gifts. Stiles ought to be offended but instead he finds it refreshing.
This Time With Feeling by Crimson1 | 36.1K | Explicit
"Derek Hale, if you refuse to learn from your pastâŠthen you will be doomed to repeat it." In which Derek is turned into a 16-year-old and has to stay with Stiles until they figure out how to turn him back. Eventual slash and smut, set post season 2, semi-AU.
I stopped believing in happy endings by otatop | 8.5K
Derek was prepared to have his heart broken for just one evening with Stiles. He knew what he was getting himself into
(He had no idea what he was getting himself into)
Itâs Always Been You, Dumbass by stilinskisparkles | 11K
âAlright, cool, we should go,â Stiles says breezily, dusting off his hands as he stands.
âWe should?â
âYeah!â
âBut⊠Do you even care about photography?â
âNot as much as I should,â Stiles plants both his hands on the table, bracketing Derek in, âYouâll have to correct my miscreant ways.â

I resent how I always feel closer to a ghost than actually alive. I forgot what it feels like to genuinely feel alive. I feel like a spectre observing life and haunting my own narrative until there's simply no room to even want to breathe. Until the drowning feels so inescapable that simply letting the water into my lungs feels more deserved than wanting to live. Than wanting to be loved and genuinely seen... because how am I ever supposed to find live and live despite my past when I too, feel trapped and haunted by my very presence. No sane person would ever want a partner as broken as I am, and maybe that's my penance for never being enough. Maybe that loneliness is my price to pay in solutude, where I can't disappoint anyone else because they wouldn't stay let alone fight for me to stay.

luca with ths pubic-hair-looking beard in solutude of prime numbers and the extra 15 kilos is my fave look of his đ€Ș he legit looks like every single guy in my unis humanities dep that i would see in a lecture once and fall deeply in love with for the rest of the semester
to each their own... i respect u for it but here is where we diverge king. i personally like him when hes clean shaven looking like the talented mr ripley himself, idk why. i just enjoy a smooth face. i think this says something about us though because you want to go for a nice man whereas i only like a man who looks like he would treat me so so so so so very badly and then push me off a boat and lie about it to the cops, and he is either clean shaven or has a little evil mustache

Do you ever just get that pressure in the center of your chest...
It achs almost indescribably physical and painful... as if the very spirit is being compacted into a tight knot by forces powerful, foreboding and unseen... And that's when you realise your vulnerable. fear and adrenaline rush to collaborate with those inner enemies.
You suddenly become aware of a desperate need to fill a void or to find a distraction, but there is none. Or you don't have the energy to commit.
When you do seek to release your tension your efforts are lazy, or worse short lived... and when you fail still no tears may escape your fortified walls. The pressure still cracking away at your foundations threatening to drown you under your own awareness.
How can you heal when their is nothing wrong. Or so the inner demon screams. Because their is no reason to feel this way and yet you somehow still cater to your own suffering despite being unwillingly trapped.
Ultimately your body is your ally... as much as you despise it's inherant weaknesses. It knows you better then you know yourself, you realise. that aching pain is a warning sign just as real as the times you may have bleed from damage easily explained. Yet you have no skills to bandage an invisible wound.
Your heart is weeping. It must be for something that's been taken, or is it something never given. You know It needs the sustinance of love and the hydration of company but why do those things taste so bitter to you now. Why do such experiances taste foreign and oddly textured, when a diet of sweet solutude eats away at you in a slow and tragic death by avoidance.
You made your choice it seems... Better to deplete yourself behind a fabricated diet of fictional identies that keep you alive but also starving for who you truly wish to be.
But then again, how can you properly feed yourself, when your choking and struggling to digest that pressure deep inside your chest.

Bingewatched, read, journaled a lot on my private space, had quality time alone and quality time with Dad. Weekend well spent :)
It feels so good to finally see that the thing I've waited for 11 months has arrived at last. The Good Place Season 4 is up on Netflix Philippines. Boy, you wouldn't believe how forking ecstatic I was. But by then, I already watched Enola Holmes (such a wonderful film! It made me open a Google doc just to write about my thoughts about it. I'm thankful for Janina Vela's suggestion because to be honest, if it were just the trailer, I wouldn't have watched it. But now I'm glad I did. I love the breaking of the fourth wall, too...and of course, how it empowers women! The film was kind of too expository, though.) I also watched My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away with Dad. Two of the greatest animated movies of all time. Planning to watch all the Studio Ghibli films this year. Always been a Disney kid here (and Pixar, or 20th Century) so I have a lot of catching up to do as I'm just about to discover the universe created by Hayao Miyazaki decades ago. Having watched three films before seeing that The Good Place Season 4 is finally up, I wasn't able to binge it all at once. Which I think is a good thing, because watching it in one day after waiting for almost a year is like eating a meal I've waited for many hours in only 10 minutes. So like I did with The Crown, I will savor the episodes :)
I'm grateful I also had the time to reflect a lot on the things that I've been going through, externally and internally. This is the one sentence that could summarise the thousands of words I've put on my journal.
I regret I still haven't checked my LinkedIn again after months (I want to be active there, but it's still social media so it still drains my energy if I log in too much), and that I still didn't have load recently, but I just really needed to hibernate some more. I'm a hermit at heart, finding peace in solutude. But I will soon have the energy again. To interact.
For now, let me have my me time please and thank you.

Donc...
January in Nagoya. Our girls are back in Switzerland (see later), we moved to our temple (see later too), itâs cold, the other people in the temple all leave for semester holliday. Mid time for us. Itâs a bit bluesy. So: we need holidays and warm. We discussed Taiwan, Australia (a bit crazy), and settle for south Japan, more exaclty Yakushima. Funny idea... But in Nagoyas botanical garden, there is a replica of an uncreadible tree, Jomon Sugi, maybe the oldest tree on earth (2000 to 7200 years old). Fascinating. And this japanese cedar still lives on this island. And we love lost islands. So...

January 26th, Chubu airport, still in its christmas flair...

After a night in Kagoshima (Kyushu),we continue our trip on ferry. Morning view on Sakurajima, the active volcano.

Kagoshima bay. Theater of the Satsuma-England war in 1863: an english lord, not being respectful while greeting a samurai, is killed in Kagoshima. England, exasperated from one more anti-stranger incident, ask for reparation to the central governement. This one agrees, but Satsumas province refuses and attacks the english vessels in itâs bay. These reply by bombing the city of Kagoshima, but this one had been evacuated before. Casualities: 5 for Satsuma, 11 for England. Both claim victory. And both win indeed. Satsuma will gain an opening on Eurpe and a independant pavillon in the universal exhibition of Paris in 1867 (one year before Meiji era and opening from Japan to the rest of the world)

Yakushima, nous voilĂ !!!
Yakushima, here we are!!!
Yakushima.
Yakushima. A unique place. One of the wettest place on earth (10âČ000mm rain on Mianoura mountain - with 1935m the highest peak in south Japan - compared to 1âČ000mm in NeuchĂątel!). Subtropical climate on the coast, and simalar to northern Japan in the mountain 5 km inland).
On the island, we are met by a friend of âourâ monk. He lives here since 40 years. Itâs a nice and sad story: n the 70ties, a group of alternative, artist, idealists people, leaded by the poet Sansei Yamao, move to an abandonned forest village here. Itâs where we will be hosted. But from this village, there isnât many people left. Young one left, founders died. There is only loneliness and alcool left...

Sad reality of lonelyness and alcool
I must say, I rarely felt as bad as there, even if it could look like some of my dreams... Dirtyness (and Iâm rather tough), food intoxication danger (like old sashimi...), extrem lonelyness. And difficult to escape without diplomatic incident...
Even though, we didnât get sick, and he will be very kind in showing us his island and even gave us our escape plan (see later)
I keep the mountain part for later. Around the island:

But Yakushima, itâs its forest before all. A fairy tale forest (it inspired Mononoke Hime, if you know). And itâs more than 1000 years old cedar trees. And Jomon Sugi, hidden in its 5 hours walk away mountain. As the snow isnât yet a problem (it can be up to more than 1m in winter!), we will do this expedition. But first, we have to diplomatically escape this place. And the opportunity takes the name of Kuchnoerabujima, the next island.
Kuchinoerabujima
Never heard of this island. And though: 122 inhabitants. No hotel. No restaurant. No supermarket. Even no vending machine! Just a post office, a mini shop, and of course a sake shop. A ferry per day. And above all: 3 volcanoes, one of them woke up in 2015 and all inhabitants had to be evacuated. Itâs 12x5 km. And half of it is closed to access because of the volcano gases. We find there a pavillon for rent, and we feel in paradise. Nice stay, clean, view on the open see (sunset even), and nothing to do other than short walks!

There were once 2000 people living on the island...

Retour sur Yakushima-back on Yakushima
Here we are, ingognito, in a guesthouse. Jomonsugi, here we come. Taxi start at 5:30Â (no bus in winter), walk start at 5:50, with head lamp, in this dream valley of Shiratani (we came here on our first day, so it isnât soo bad to be here by night). Pass, back to the next valley, where there once was a important wood industry. Walk along the old railway. Back up in the forest. Uncredible that that it would have been exploited so deep in the island. Arraving at Wilson stump. The biggest stump on the island. I like itâs somehow sad story: once upon a time, there was a cedar. One of the biggest, one of the highest. And a province, Kyushu how refused to be rled by Toyotomi, the âTaikoâ. Defeated at last (the Asterix village of Japan), Toyotomi orders from them cedar wood to build a big buddha and itâs hal in Kyoto. The forest are then inspected to find the best wood. In itâs far away island, our tree is spotted. It will be felled. We are just before turning in the 17th century. Just before Toyotomis death and governing of the Tokugawas. How it was transoprted, I really donât know. It was 350 years old. Itâs now nearly 500 years ago, and the stump still stand there, in moss and rain. Itâs huge. It has a shrine and a spring inside. When one watch the sky, one sees it as a hearth. Wasnât it more buddha when it was still standing?

Back to Kyushu, a bit further south than Kagoshima, in an old fashion and deserted sea resort
After seeing Jomon Sugi, I swore Iâm never ever moving from the couch again. But as there is no couch in Japan, here I am, back on the road, by bicycle first

I would like to add a few things to this that is my explanation of why I love this pairing. Aside from their height.
They have some similarites.
1 Both are pridefull, competitive and lonely people.
2 While their believes are different, Gil in Fate/Zero understood Saberâs motives, her dream had destoyed her. She started her reign in solitude and ended it in solutude. The novel even mentioned that he was reminded of Enkidu when he watched Artoria unleash her noble fantasm. And he being alone too decided that the best option was to make her his wife so she wonât be swallowed by her ideals.
3 Now we get to another reason I love the ship. Artoria rejected him. She has all the right to do so. He was a jerk to her and he made fun of her ideals. But the aestic the two have is just so interesting. Gil finds Artoria captivating and Artoria finds him intolerable. One does everything for her people and ends up sacrificing her happiness, the other one trampled over his people to satisfy himself. Artoria has what Gil lacks and vise versa.
4 Another thing that I like is that Gil keeps chasing her in other universes, FGO, Fate/Extella/Link, even in Fate Extra CCC when he discribes his ideal woman he describes Artoria and BBâs love virus made Gil mistake BB for Artoria. Itâs so funny. Even though the events of Fate/Zero did not happen in those universe, Gil still end up being attracted by her.
Iâm pretty sure I have many more reasons why I love these two. But these are the most important points for me. The height difference is also a huge + obv. A tiny woman biting back at a 182 cm tall guy whose ego can be compared to a black hole, I love it!
The Reasons why I ship éćŁ
Ahem.. welp itâs been almost 2 years that Iâve been obsessed over this pairing⊠and thatâs the main reason why I want to contribute anything that makes this ship still working lmao.Â
[Some of you may know that I recently made a lot of Gil x Saber fanarts, I also write a fanfic about them (but I have no idea to continue it)..]Â
Anyway I want to make a honest opinion about how I feel, since I donât have any friends that into this ship but I guess thereâs a lot of fellas out there that loved this pairing too :â #sadlife

I know thereâs A LOT of people that against this ship, and said that this ship is unhealthy (apparently yes bcs in F/SN main routes Gil is a colossal dick corrupted by grail butâŠ) letâs see on the other sideâŠ
Tbvh, I used to ship Saber with Shirou when I watched F/SN by studio DEEN back then (when I was in elementary school) but now Iâm currently an University student that already mature enough so my taste and the way I think may altered. Without further ado, hereâs my opinions:
 They look good together: Â
Both of them are blonde -> (actually thatâs my main reason why I liked them bcs I like blonde characters).
Height Difference : Their height difference is about 28 cm (Gil=182 cm, Arturia=154cm). You know that every tall guys need a short girl (and vice versa) lmao.
Gilgamesh is portrayed as a handsome pretty boy (especially when his hair down) compared to Shiro (just a plain highschooler boy). All of us know that Arturia is a beautiful girl so, shipping her with Gil would make a picture perfect couple lmao.
   2.  Gilgamesh is faithful and Shiro is a two timer
In the VN, Shiro has different love interest due to different routes. In FSN he may loved saber but in UBW he loves Rin, and in HF he loved Sakura. Knowing this facts, I rather consider Shiro and Saberâs relationship just a master-servant in professional way. He doesnât deserve her! lol.
At the other side, Gilgamesh the prideful arrogant bastard ,King of Heroes is faithful for keeping his promise that he waited for her for almost 10 years and still has desire towards her.
   3.  Foe-Yay:
We already know that both of them destined to against each other as enemies the end of F/Z episode where both of them fighting to death to obtain the grail, thereâs a scene where he stabbed her leg with his sword and propose her. Itâs kinda messed up and awful in real life..but at the other side I started to think âshipping them maybe interestingâ then, i checked out some fanarts and eventually stumbled into their r-18 doujinshi yum.đł
   4. A lot of materials and Ideas
Well, thereâs a TON of fan materials that involving this ship and itâs quite varied from love-hate relationships, tsundere-tsundere, foe-yay, r-18, etc. Itâs depends on the situation. Infacts this pair is one of the most popular ship within fate franchise and a lot of Japanese ppl seem to liked this pairing too. (Recently i found thereâs a Japanese cosplayers of Gil & Saber that married each other and cosplaying at their wedding reception).
Yup these are my main reasons, it may not covering the whole thing but I just want to write something like this, Iâm okay if you donât agree my opinion, well every person have their own opinion and their preferable ships, we should respect every opinions and once again please forgive me if my English skill is not good enough, iâm not a native speaker and Iâm still learning.
Thanks for reading this. lol đ
