Cherri’s very shy when you first meet him. He’s never really been a people person, especially after watching his mother and sister get murdered right in front of him.

Sandman’s always been...chaotic. Not only is it in his blood and his personality, it’s also a coping mechanism for him whenever someone close to him dies, such as Benzedrine, Horsey, Crystal Butterfly (his girlfriend), and his brother and sister.

Mike is from a different world than the Fab Four. Between the time of getting to New Mexico and finding Kara, he finds a machine that takes him to a completely different world, which is the Fab Four’s. And not too long after getting into the world, he finds Poison and Kobra, who are orphans. He takes them in, and over a period of time, they eventually become his sons.

Poison’s never been a fan of Kobra’s love for racing. He always worries when Kobra goes out to the track and races. He absolutely flipped out and panicked when Kobra got his first injury, which was a concussion.

Kobra’s always been a bit uneasy and nervous, ever since his and Poison’s biological parents were murdered when they were very young children. His uneasiness and nervousness settled down once Mike came into his and Poison’s life.

Ghost has always liked tattoos. He always saw them in the magazines he’s managed to snag while living in Battery City. He somehow managed to get his first tattoo, two butterflies behind his ear, when he was 13. He’s lucky that he had a good tattoo artist.

Tango is actually pretty good at video games. He always celebrates his victories by taking a shot of whiskey. But whenever he’s playing with Poison or the Girl, he’ll always let them win.

Blackie never experienced being a child as her mother was brainwashed and forced to become the Director when she was just 2 years old. Her mother was the predecessor to the Director that we all know. But during her years under her mother’s administration, she’s attempted to kill herself twice. And she had a journal to write many, many things down. But luckily, she managed to escape with Ghoul after she killed her mother and start a life as an outlaw in the desert.

Glitter is a city boy through and through. He’s only heard about the desert through the many stories that his mother has told him. When it came to the time where he was actually going to the desert, he wasn’t prepared at all. Thankfully, he had Ghost and Dr. D to reach him how to use a ray gun and all after he and Ghost had escaped Battery City.

Most people are surprised when they hear Val Velocity is the son of BL/IND’s head exterminator, Korse. It enrages Val that he’s related to that asshole. The only thing that keep him calm is his group, The Ultra V’s. And more specifically, Vinyl. He would be the one to calm Val down when he gets pissed off. Vinyl would always be the one to talk to Val for no reason at all and to comfort him when he needed it. And much to Val’s surprise, he let himself fall in love and start dating Vinyl. Their first kiss was during sunset.

FB was the runt of his family. He was the weakest and was always told he’d never make it in life. He proved them all wrong when he found his group, the second most famous killjoy group there is- The Suitehearts, which consisted of him, Mr. Sandman, Horseshoe Crab and Mr. Benzedrine. He rejected his family when they contacted him again, after he and the other Suitehearts took down a group of Dracs. He rejected them, as he had found his new family.

Jet always loved kids. He always had a great time looking out for his brother until he got ghosted. When he and the others took in the the Girl, he did everything with her. He spoiled her, he did her hair, he dressed her up for the day and many more things. One of his favorite things to do is to take care of the Girl.

Ghoul loves annoying the others by turning his hearing aids off. He lost hearing when one of his bombs went off unexpectedly. He won an argument with Jet once by turning his hearing aids off and pretending to fall asleep.

Kara absolutely loves riding her bike. And Mike hated it, but she could honestly care less about what he thinks. It was the one thing here and Kobra, one she had met him, would do together. She enjoyed riding with him, as she’s never really had anyone else to do it with.

Fuck yeah, our OCs are awesome!

Chaotic Fic/AU With My OCs & Shuu!

Ok so I had this fucking chaotic idea the other day any u know what? I’m doing it. I need some fun.

So the other day I was doing chaotic meditative freestyle dance practice (as one does), and I managed to write this Very Chaotic Thing in my head. (This is how I normally get my ideas. Dancing time is where I ‘write’ all my stories).

Ok. So basically; the fic is set in a fantasy universe with all of my OCs, sonas & Shuu (also the rest of the TG characters for ✨consistency✨). However, all the characters all fall under famous archetypes.

What I mean is; instead of being their usual canon characters, they’re characters with new archetypes.

For example, Shuu is a musketeer & a prince. My OC Bunny is a cowboy, and my other OC Maddie is a pirate.

The basic plot is that a group of these characters become involved with each other after a gang of dangerous pirates & bandits attack, leading them into a quest across the land to find a rare mythical creature.

I haven’t planned everything, and I write this story well aware that it is going to be ✨a mess✨

But I don’t care! I’ve written a few chapters and I smiled all the way through writing and I need that right now.

Besides, I write for fun anyway so I don’t see why me writing this Silly Little Thing should be subject to any huge criticism. I just want some fun!

I know this explanation is messy but I’ll try and clear things up later. I’m just very all over the place atm!

i always have trouble visualizing the ghouls tails. for some reason my brain gives them horsey tails and im 90% sure that isnt right. how do you see them? do you have any art that matches what you see the ghouls as?

I see them as imp tails. Obviously they're black as compared to this photo. I've always thought that the tip shape changes depending on the element as well.

Never in a million years did I think I’d be saying this about a Scooby-Doo movie.

But… in Boo Brothers, this one particular film…

...Scrappy actually doesn’t suck.

I know, I’m still traumatized by that face too, but it is – shockingly – true.

In trying to comprehend how this was even possible, I determined it can be boiled down to 3 things:

1. Not being horrifically irritating

Rather than spewing “gee, uncle Scooby” every three seconds, they actually try to make him funny in more-understated ways.

There’s little touches, like Scrappy patiently fixing the door during a crazy chase, only for it to keep getting knocked down...

...or first frantically begging the sheriff for help when Shag ‘n’ Scoob are trapped in a well, in immense peril...

...only for them to blast by, yelling at the top of their lungs...

...at which Scrappy goes “...never mind!” and just moves on.

He’s toned down substantially, and feels like a character, not a bad plot device.

2. Playing a real role in the gang’s dynamics

Other Scrappy incarnations I’ve seen always make him obnoxiously, irrationally upbeat 24/7.

In Boo Brothers, he’s chipper, sure, but is way more reserved and practical than in others.

He even jokes around in fitting ways with the gang, doing a little “chase scene race commentator” bit...

...and is amusingly above it all/oblivious to their constant panic over minimal things.

It allowed for interesting interactions, and added new ideas into the mix rather than just making everything all about him.

3. Actually being useful to the plot

Remember how in Ghoul School, he just blindly runs into danger constantly and gets everyone in trouble?

Couldn’t be further from it in Boo Brothers – Scrappy is super helpful on the treasure hunt, leading Shag ‘n’ Scoob along while they’re too scared.

As they do their classic panicking, he keeps his head – even finagling a clue away from a gorilla...

...by offering it a robot horsey ride, which is pretty darn wonderful.

I’m still in shock, but I can’t deny it. If the Scrappy-Doo in Boo Brothers was the 24/7 Scrappy...

...he would actually have been a really likable addition to the series.

RIP, Non-Horrible Scrappy. May some brave reboot one day attempt to recapture your brief non-suckitude.

Guilty Pleasures:

Hoarding stuff related to Chrono Cowboy, Giddyup Buttercup and anything in the Western genre, really. She’s a bit embarrassed by these childish obsessions but they’re her favorite things.

Bullying the mirelurks under the bridge of Arefu and playing dumb pranks on the Family (like placing heavy objects on their manhole cover).

Telling Buttons about wasteland traditions that never existed for the sole purpose of embarrassing him.

Phobias:

Ghouls, feral and non-feral alike. Her fear stems from an old childhood memory of having witnessed a friend turn feral. While in the last 15 years she conditioned herself well enough to not freak out completely at the sight of a ghoul, she is not fond of them and will do anything to get out of having to do business with one. (Her attitude towards ghouls will improve once she makes some friends.)

What they would become famous for:

Traveling across the wasteland that used to be the United States of America and trading agricultural secrets and tips between the Capital Wasteland, the New Vegas area and the Commonwealth. And hopefully, establishing The Best Ranch/Farm out there.

What have they/would they have gotten arrested for:

A prank or vengeful trick gone wrong. Not cooperating with NCR while in NV. Not cooperating with BoS when back in DC.

OC you ship them with: Buttons. They started dating after he decided to move to Arefu but the two were good friends for a couple months before that.

OC most likely to murder them: Raiders wanting to ransack a caravan or rival traders. She’s got a decade old hate thing going on with the NPC Karen Schenzy. Frankly, I’m surprised they’re both still living in the same town.

Favorite Book Genre: western, cook books, anything about animals + agriculture and comic books. She is dyslexic, therefore she prefers books with images instead of walls of text.

Least Favorite Book Cliche: long dialogues (remember, walls of text is a no-no) and characters who are portrayed as strong but don’t actually prove powerful in any situation whatsoever

Talents and/or Powers:  Farming and Trading. Learned most of it from her parents. She wanted to be The Best Trader ever for most of her childhood but at some point decided that she will have The Best Ranch/Farm instead. Thanks to this her Speech and Charisma skills are pretty good.

Strength and Endurance. She’ll hit your head off with a shovel and hike up a mountain without breaking a sweat.

Dancing. She’s a natural. Too bad she’s too shy to actually show it off.

Why someone might love them:  She is to-the-point, trustworthy and honest, with a great sense of humor. Courteous and personable with her customers, remembers names and faces relatively well and offers discounts to long time business partners and people in need. Meg is extremely focused on her goals and rightfully proud of her work as a farmer. As a good workaholic, she puts enormous effort into her trade and motivates everyone around her to keep up and develop the settlement and their community. Meg and her family are moderately charitable: as the only farm in the area, they provide the temporary residents of Arefu Common House with food and random goods (it’s great for business, you see!) and occasionally host passing caravans, lending them a guest room and the barn. Meg herself is much more motherly and brooding than she lets on, but her close friends know the truth of just how protective she is. Hardened by growing up in the Capital Wasteland, she’s not afraid to defend her home and would give her life for her town.

Why someone might hate them: Thanks to her work ethics, she often puts her job above her personal relationships or her own health. She comes off as almost aggressively competitive, even when she’s not trying to be (she IS competitive, even if she doesn’t admit to it). Her hardworking personality intimidates and discourages certain people, which provides her with a power high but hinders her efforts in community building. Meg keeps grudges forever and acts upon them in a petty, sneaky way that leaves the offender without incriminating evidence. Thanks to her fear of ghouls, Meg is very awkward around them and might even behave rudely towards innocent ghouls, just to get rid of them.

How they change: Meg’s greatest personal achievement is overcoming her debilitating fear of ghouls. From a humble (lol) farmer she becomes a significant cog in the machine of the Minutemen and furthers the well-being of folks all over the wasteland, wherever she goes. Though I still don’t have detailed plans written out it’s most likely that she will indeed end up owning The Best Ranch/Farm around, because she’s cool like that. ;P

Why you love them: She carries a bunch of admirable traits of my husband, @cameronaugust​ as she is hardworking, inspiring and comes across as healthily self-confident, radiating this sense of safety. She gets shit done. I’m almost thankful for her for providing Buttons with a safe place and familiar, warm feelings (like belonging to a family) in the vast and scary wasteland. I kind of wish I could be more like her in some ways? I also like her for possessing some childish traits while being such an adult. Like who the hell stays mad at a cow for it being an asshole? Has a crush on a comic book character?  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Wants a damn horsey toy as a grown-ass woman? On top of it all, I find the whole idea of “farm people are fucking weird” very entertaining. Just think of Dwight from The Office. Weird shit happens around her all the time!
