hi. so I designed two hemera funkids: camera kid my version & jaymera kid. and here is also pon - boa's girlfriend

I was afraid to create for a long time, but I think nothing bad happened after I created and drew them. I hope in the future I can draw a lot of art with them and reveal their lore

A little about them under cut

Sophia is another sister of Chloe who she thinks is cool, and Sophie likes to babysit Chloe in breaks from her cool things (she likes to remix and produce electronic songs, DJ, watch action movies and write stories and scripts with a lot of action, although its a little mediocre, she also loves dark glasses and being cool)

Besides Chloe, Sophia has a good relationship with Norma and they respect each other's sense of style. They communicate little with Blair, but their interests simply do not intersect.

Boa is a fan of kneetube (trying to be an influencer), various (especially spicy) food, and mukbang. tries to establish good relationships with all their siblings and nearsiblings, but they do not always succeed, they are often avoided and they do not understand why (however, there is a reason: they do not understand the personal space of other people and constantly talk about their cringe interests. Boa spends money to business trainings and talk with motivational quotes, and also always walk around with a phone, filming everyone for their kneetube vlog forgetting to ask permission to film...)

Although the other siblings are just as annoyed with them as they are with their bro and best friend Levi, these two sincerely praise each other for impossible business ideas, Levi admires Boa for their intention to create a restaurant chain with a budget of 50 dollars and Boa is believes Levi about the prospects of crypto

Pon is an extremely sweet pastry chef & cute clothes lover who met Boa through their nearsibling... but it’s a long story, the main thing is that she and Boa form a wonderful sweet-spicy team BoaPon. Pon is the best at listening to Boa's strange business ideas and they are not reluctant to participate in the daily filming of their vlog

Now, heres their designs explanation:

Number one, Lil' D - I had gave him a slightly longer hair And I made him look a little more cuter because of his face, but I didnt change him too much

Number two, Madison - I had gave her a more longer hair, And even a Purple headband, And even some sleeves for her dress. I even gave her a beautymark on her cheek

Number two, philly Phil - I have gave him lots of details, like braces (I like giving nerdy characters braces ^///^;) a little more bigger And puffier hair, And an visible Adam Apple, And I gave him a pansexual pin on his jumpsuit

Number four, kim And kam - I havent changed them too much, but I did gave them some juicy lips, And orange hearts on their cheeks And they have that so others can know theyre twins

Number five, tamika And Eddie - same like kim And kam, I didnt change them too much, but I did gave them some details on the hair, And I gave tamika colored nails And a beautymark, And I gave Eddie some earrings, slight longer hair And fur on his shoulders

reintroducing mx adriana diaz or a study in the danger of expectations and stereotypes

adri is the youngest diaz sibling by about 6 years (going with eddie as the middle child) - now 26

as the youngest daughter, adri was likely always going to be spoiled, but the larger age gap certainly added to it. she was and always has been treated as the baby of the family (until christopher at least)

the spoiled youngest is a stereotype adri learns to play into; she knows to play clueless and to blink her doe eyes at her parents when in trouble, but it’s not all great - they expect her to be emotional and not as smart as sophia or eddie, so adri lives to those expectations. 

but discomfort grows as she gets older - once careless parents turn more strict. if eddie’s teenage pregnancy was awful to them, then the idea of another one with adri is abhorrent. she doesn’t cope well with the change. (she blames eddie and their relationship isn’t great by the time shannon and chris are around bc, again, adri isn’t great with change)

she grows up dancing folklorico and traditional ballet. at 14/15, she’s invited to a summer intensive in nyc (a big deal in the prof dance world) but her parents won’t let her go and her big city dreams die with the disappointment. 

so adri decides if she can’t do what she wants, she’ll do what eddie couldn’t (bc lowkey adri is petty as hell). she refocuses on volleyball and one of the few perks of an all girl’s catholic school is all the extracurriculars and sports they encourage look great on college apps. she falls into the ‘perfect daughter’ routine that no one ever expected of her.

by the end of high school, she’s captain of the volleyball team and has a few scholarships lined up at upenn if she plays there. but they don’t cover everything and private out of state uni’s are expensive. since adri wants to go into nursing anyway, she decides to join the nrotc nursing corps program, but her parents forbid it and adri just gives in. they’re fighting her on the move to philly as it is and it starts to dawn on her that they see college as ‘mrs degree’ - a way for her meet a husband and settle down. 

upenn is great for adri - she’s captain of a volleyball team again, a sorority girl, and has an on-and-off relationship that turns serious during their last two years of college. as much as adri didn’t want to meet the ‘mrs degree’ expectation, she and rafael get engaged shortly after graduating. he is actually navy, gearing up for flight school, so they do a small courthouse wedding to make everything easier. 

(adri also comes out as nonbinary between her second and third year of college to very little fanfare. she doesn’t advertise it too much given the sports world at the time. and even now, she’s still untangling if her parents' subdued rxn is actual support, indifference, or disbelief/humoring her.)

like eddie, adri rushes into a marriage. one she has no idea how to navigate between her own new career and raf’s. the moves make her feel unsettled and while fitting in among the navy so’s should bring her comfort, it ultimately doesn’t. it’s just more stereotypes for her to be pigeonholed into. 

in fact, as adri, who started a more content creator style presence on insta as a college athlete, starts sharing more of her experience being a new military spouse, she realizes just how much she hates the little corner of the world she’s fallen into. 

a bad argument leads to adri initiating the divorce - while they were originally on the same page about wanting kids, raf’s insistence on adri doing the whole stay at home thing leads to adri sharing that she’s unsure if she wants kids at all. (something she was maybe in the wrong for keeping it to herself for as long as she did, even if raf isn't necessarily great either.) 

(for more context - they had a pregnancy scare in college. they were on the same page then about the roles they’d take, but while raf’s thoughts stayed the same, adri’s changed as both her nursing and sm careers took off)

so, where does a freshly divorced, semi-influencer end up? la of course. it’s the best of both worlds - content potential and family (rather than moving back to philly with only friends that all knew raf). at least, adri’s smart enough to keep working as a nurse in la too. 

some personality notes: adri tends to be very charming and sweet. she is very easy to get along with but the majority of her relationships are surface deep. in her real life, adri isn’t great at putting herself in others’ shoes. for whatever reason, compassion and sympathy comes easier to her when she’s in scrubs.

Description:

This was Ale’s first experience with real love and commitment. They began seeing each other not long after she moved to Philly and became serious fairly quickly. The relationship lasted approximately two years and ended with them being unfaithful to Ale and her finding out about it. Many critics have said that some of Ale’s greatest work came during the hardest stage of heartbreak following the end of this relationship. This is vague as it’s only meant to be a skeleton for the connection. I’d love to plot and build something. And while I’m down for some drama please know this connection is not about painting your character as the villain. Let’s just see what goes and what happens/develops!

A Letter of Wandering

Well, this isn’t ominous at all.

Hey. Avery here. Sophia silently passed me the notebook early, said she’s... how’d she put it— “too discomposed and unsettled to write right now”. Honestly, don’t really blame her— even the wind here feels quiet, and we’re on the freaking coast! I know the ocean breeze, it should be batting at your hair, whistling in your ears, all that sappy stuff. Not... haunting.

But hey, it’s not all bad here. The town looks in good shape. It’s not in ruins or on fire, or even rotting or run-down. No signs of a fight or anything. There’s just no people, as if they all got up and just disappeared one day. And honestly, based on the state of things— well, I’m not going to tell the others in case they didn’t notice (Glenn did, I think Sophia is catching on quickly, and Adrien’s observant), but... I don’t think they disappeared that long ago.

How’s that for spooky, huh? Gives me the creeps.

We’re exploring the town now, see if we can’t find anyone hiding or anything. Probably good to grab some supplies too. Hey, if nobody’s going to use it, why let it go to waste?

Hey— Sophia’s trailing behind. Adrien usually does that (I think he’s shy), but he’s checking out this shop with some kind-of thread and needle sign on the door. But Sophia? Something’s up. I’m gonna go talk to her.

“Hey.”

Sophia jumps, head snapping up from where she’d been staring at the wooden docks of the town. For a moment her expression is unguarded; scared, worried, unsure. 

Then she covers it with fake composure. “Is something the matter?”

Avery puts a hand on her hip. Her fingers brush against the soft white fabric of her jacket, and her mind briefly flashes to a few days before, when Sophia was pressed under her arm in a cold, damp cave, shielded from the storm and unearthly beasts outside. She’d been so cold and soaked then, but open and vulnerable. 

Avery had been too.

The taller teen gives Sophia a quick look over. “Wanted to check on you, that’s all. Scrapes not givin’ ya trouble, are they?”

“No.” Sophia crosses her arms, rubbing a scrape on her elbow. “I’m fine. I made sure to clean any sand out to avoid infection. You learn a thing or two as Class Representative, you know.”

Avery snorts. “Ah, the old ‘I’m an honours student defence, therefore I must always be perfectly fine’, huh?”

Sophia blinks. “What?”

“Pretendin’ you’re not hurt or scared because you’re Class Rep. What, you think ya got to impress us or something?”

“I— I do not!” Sophia sputters. Her face fills with a red flush. “Where on Earth did you get that inane idea?”

Avery gestures around with one hand. “We’re not on Earth, Soph’. There’s no one here but me, Camper-Boy, Umbrella, and Always Sunny in Philly, and right now, those three are busy explorin’. So spill. What’s eatin’ ya?”

It’s subtle, almost unnoticeable, but Sophia flinches at those last three worlds. She scoffs to cover it up. “I’m fine, really. I don’t appreciate your interrogation.”

Avery raises a hand in a sign of peace. “Relax, Rep, I’m not tryin’ to drill anythin’ out of ya. But I can tell you’re bothered by somethin’, and in my experience, spillin’ it usually helps more than lettin’ it fester. Want the notebook back instead?”

She pulls the notebook out of her pocket and offers it out. Sophia’s gaze flickers to it for a moment, her scowl twitching. For a moment, she starts to uncross her arms, then tightens them again and looks away, nose high. 

“I’m fine, thank you.”

Avery sticks the notebook back in her pants pocket, shrugs off her jacket, and slings it over Sophia’s shoulders. Sophia lets out a startled noise, eyes going wide. “What are you—”

Avery rolls her shoulders back with a lax smile. “You looked cold, Ice Queen.”

Sophia gapes at her for a few seconds before huffing. “I am not cold.”

“Sure is cold here though, so close to the coast. Storm wasn't that long ago, you know.”

With a soft click, Sophia’s jaw snaps closed from where she was about to retort. She looks back down at the docks, kicking at the gaps in the wood with her boot. When Avery gestures to follow, she does.

The two wander through the abandoned streets, passing a merchant’s stand with woven trinkets of kelp and sea glass. Avery watches their reflections in the windows. Catching movement in the corner of her eye, she turns, but it’s only a lone town flag flapping in the wind. She frowns.

They find a smooth bench swing on the porch of a home and sit, gazing at the windmill lazily spinning in the distance. The air smells of fish and brine, carried by the wind from the ocean.

“So,” Avery starts, “hell of a storm the other day, huh.”

Sophia nods, tying and untying the yellow ribbon at her waist. She huddles under Avery’s jacket.

“And that thing in the water— real crazy, huh. Didn’t think the Kraken on the map was actually real.”

Sophia’s shoulders hunch, her usually-perfect posture dipping. Avery raises an eyebrow but doesn’t comment. Instead, she turns her attention to the windmill, letting the silence of the empty town fill the air thick.

“...It was... terrifying.” Sophia finally whispers. “I thought... I thought we were going to die on that beach. I thought we were going to die in the woods.”

Avery stretches back, kicking up her feet onto the wooden porch railing. “But we didn’t.”

“We almost did!” Sophia snaps. “And you’re so calm about it. I’m trying to keep my poise here, trying to be responsible, and yet—“

She trails off. Avery shoots her a side glance with a soft smile. “Not easy, is it?”

After a moment, Sophia shakes her head. She buries her face in her hands. “…you must think me a failure, huh.”

Avery wraps an arm around her shoulder, the swing bench creaking from the movement. “Nope.”

Sophia raises her head. Her eyes are suspiciously reflective, like a still pond about to overflow in the next rainstorm. “Then you must be laughing at me on the inside. Top of our grade, reduced to this mess by a few small complications…”

Avery does laugh at that, but not at Sophia. “Small complications? Now look who’s downplaying the last few days. You think any of us are composed right now? Please. Stop being so hard on yourself, Rep. Like I said, you don’t have to prove yourself to us. Who found the cave to bunk in?”

“I did, but—”

“And who spent the whole beach walk talkin’ about all these interesting facts about climate change and the hydrosphere and all that school stuff, lifting morale?”

“I did, but—”

“And who organized a plan when we first fell here?” “Technically, that was both Glenn and I—”

Avery waves her hand in a dismissive gesture. “Potato Po-tah-to, same deal. Take some credit, Soph’. You’re doin’ great.”

“But in the woods— you had to save me from that... that awful creature. And in the cave, I did nothing but shiver and hide—”

“Well duh, those two things were scary as all hell. Ya think I wasn’t screamin’ inside either? I’ve got a baseball bat and reckless confidence, so what? You’re still goin’ strong after all that crap. So head up, Rep. You’re not on your own out here. We’ve got your back.”

Sophia finally cracks a small smile. “You’re brutally blunt, you know that?”

Avery smiles back. “Yeah. Honest to a fault, that’s what my pop says. Works good in my favour, don’t have to beat ‘round the bush. Feel better?”

Sophia leans back, rocking the swinging bench. “...I do, actually. I... find this place quite terrifying. I am uneasy about how we haven’t run into anyone yet. It’s statistically very unlikely. But... it also has some beauty to it. And... I’m glad that I’m not completely alone. The company is... nice.”

Avery punches her lightly in the arm. “Told ya you’d feel better. Welcome to the club, you’re one of us now. You ain’t getting rid of us easy, that’s for sure.”

Sophia smiles. “...I’m glad. Thank you.”

“Anytime.”

Aye, later Avery here. Think I broke through Class Rep’s walls a bit. She’s nice, if a bit of a rules-stickler and a perfectionist. Not the worst person to be trapped in another world with, though. A real decent one.

We might even be considered friends.
