Leir: any routine they might have wasn't chosen but rather imposed by their role; they're used to a strict schedule, but they don't necessarily enjoy that...

Odile: gardening 🤭 more to be revealed in the story but it's a Ritual(tm) to xem!

Is mental, physical, or emotional well-being more important to them?

Leir: if it's about themself, no form of well-being is essential lmao when it comes to others all of them but they'd probably be concerned about physical the most (because they feel like they're actually able to help with that one)!

Odile: for xemself, physical; as long as xe can walk xe's fine ig 😂 for others I think xe'd value emotional well-being the most.

3. what do you think drew your detective to A? did they use flirt options with that first gaze in the detective’s office, or did their attraction come later?

liv is definitely attracted to her from the start (right until she opens her mouth, jk...partly) like the broad shoulders and brooding and the intense gaze definitely do it for her <3 and yes she does flirt with her pretty much right away bc she's impulsive and cannot help herself and she's just too curious to see how ava would react. actual romantic attraction came a little bit slower but one thing that definitely draws her in right from the start is that calm security she gives off, like despite her being such an ass to her she immediately feels very safe around her. she also quickly comes to really admire how determined she is despite it often being quite annoying (if only she wasnt so determined to deny her feelings). and she finds it really sweet how protective she gets and how much she obviously cares about her team. basically she was pretty into her right away though avas asshole behavior dampened that a tiny little bit (but not for long obviously)

6. if your detective heard sanja’s prophecy for A, how would they feel about it?

if she like overheard the whole conversation she'd probably be too busy thinking about ava asking "and if i should fall for her?" for her to think too much about the actual prophecy at first. also the things sanja says about her being afraid and standing on cliffs edge and seeing a light in the dark would have her heart aching and she would very much have to fight the urge to suffocate ava in a hug.

as for the prophecy itself, she might be a little concerned about that "oncoming darkness" (before finding out about the supernatural she wouldve thought of fortune telling as a fun but mostly made up thing but now she'd believe bc with all the stuff that actually exists why shouldnt fortune telling be one of them?) though she wouldn't believe that it could "swallow them both" but that together they could take on whatever this darkness may be

8. if the detective and A’s first kiss is full of denial afterwards, how would your detective react?

oofff i always say something like this would be one of the most painful ways their route could go. like ava not being ready to admit her feelings yet is one thing, its ok if she needs time. but if she were to kiss her or confess her feelings and then take it back....OUCH like this would truly destroy liv's hope, she would also think of herself as such a fool for actually thinking that this might mean ava would finally have accepted her feelings. like again she can mostly forgive the back and forth that is currently going on bc obviously ava isnt ready and has been through some stuff, but playing with her feelings like that.... i think this might get liv to be like either you're honest about things or leave me be bc i cannot do this anymore. if she could actually manage to speak to ava. i think she would try to avoid her as best as she could for a good while + would not be able to look her in the eye without bursting into tears...

3. What ideas come from when you were little?

Ok so I'm gonna take this as meaning like. Inspo? Bc idk what else 'ideas' means lol but I was absolutely obsessed with a Snow White book that was illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman, to the point I read it to utter pieces. I like to think that some of my linework comes from her illustration styles, but certainly the mood of her pieces has influenced me and continues to do so.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw?

Hmmmmmm probably just long swaths of fabric lol I love drawing cloaks and dresses and flowing sleeves. There's something so dramatic about them.

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)?

I do love when I get to go in on drawing jewelry bc there's always something so deeply satisfying about adding the final brightest highlight and having it sparkle in the scene it's like a reward.

a/n: another late entry for ockiss sobs, but this time ty @sosolenoo for lending Nelly again for this <3 I hope you enjoy this and I did her justice hehe.

"So, are you ready for the opening of the new store today?" Leo asked, with the drumstick sticking out of his ear.

"It's another store, what's different about it?" Daniel smiles as he dusted the newer release records in front.

"I'm just checking on you, like I always do. Remember the first store?" Leo wiggles his eyebrows, as Dan sighs at the reminder.

"You won't let this go right."

"I won't, brother's scout lil Dan." Leo smiles before taking his drumsticks as he drumming against the empty shelves.

"I hope you won't scare my customers off today Leo."

"Well, it's not me if I don't." He winks before checking the time.

"I have to go, say hello to Nelly for me. And I'll be back just right after the opening alright?"

"I will, and you should." Daniel says, as he waves Leo off.

As soon as Leo disappears from his view, a blonde clad human appears.

"good morning sunshine." Daniel greeted her happily, as Nelly steps in the store.

"Good morning, and happy opening!" She says excitedly, as Dan leans forward to place a kiss on her cheek.

"So, how's everything going ?"

"Leo came by to help, and he said hi by the way. But, I think we're done. Opening starts in a few, wanna stick by today?"

Nelly looks around, she's been giving him and Leo some design ideas as the way to make this store feels more homey than before.

"Well, the first appointment is done for the day. And, the other one apparently got cancelled. So, I'll stick by the whole day." Nelly says with a wide grin, as Dan smiles back.

He looks at his watch, and says.

"It's opening time."

"Okay, that's a pretty sweet opening." Leo says as the final customer left the store, after buying some classics from them. Leo has been a good promoter too, as Nelly helps with the register while Dan, himself talksand chats up with the customers.

"We did it!" Dan begins to jump and pull Leo and Nelly both into an embrace. His child like spirit makes both of them smile, before pulling away.

"I knew you could, and thank you as well Nelly for being there for my brother here."

"Of course, it was fun to see it happen with how much we have planned."

Leo smiles, before excusing himself to get back home. It's been a long day for the three of them, yet Daniel and Nelly decide to stay over for the closing.

Nelly founds herself fiddling with the records, searching some of her favorites. She turn around at the sound of the door, where Daniel just brought take-out for them both. Something they've been doing since they are together. A routine that they didn't break, and enjoyed.

"I got us something very good."

"It does smell wonderful, I'll pop up the music and we'll eat."

"Thank you sunshine." He says as they both set up to eat, and talk about how today's events went.

And after they done, they continue to dust up the rest of the records. Only, for Daniel to called Nelly out.

"Hey, look at what I found!"

She raises an eyebrow at the particular record in hand. Her mouth leave a surprised gasp at the record he was holding. It's one of their self-creation records. Self-creation which includes experimentation of the couple record.

"I thought it was lost among the other destroyed records." The surprised tone couldn't be missed.

"I...me to actually. But, after cleaning the old store with Leo the other day. I found it hidden within a box of my dad's old kept records, and I've been listening to it." He says smiling as he rereads the back of the record cover.

'These tunes were the best combination of happiness,joyous occasion of love for both nelly and daniel' - the rolling stone. He quoted and unquote it, as Nelly smiles remembering how they plan on what will the rolling stone would say about their taste of music. It's a mixed of everything surprising them both from time to time, but she still couldn't believe it still hasn't been lost in time.

"I remember that, I was wondering about this the other day. Where did it go, and here you are holding it." She glances over the record in his hands, before he turns to look at her.

"Hey, I think you should hold onto it this time. It's something apart of me and apart of you too. Plus, you've been helpful along this whole process. You deserve a good momento for it all." He grins her way, as she held onto it. Smiling despite it was a bit dusty, she'll manage it.

She place the records down, and pull him by the collar. Her lips meeting his, as his hands were on the side of her face, cupping it. The kiss lasted just for a moment, as they both pull away.

"What did I do to deserve that sunshine?"

"Well." She didn't say it, because he already knows. He ticks all the criteria off her list, charming, kind, sweet, everything good in him.

"You're you."

He lets out a laugh, before smiling back nodding in thanks to her.

"Now, let's listen to this. it's fun to walk onto memory lane together. Shall we?"

"We shall, lets do it."

They both end the day together, by reminiscing over the tunes that brings them together. Something they once created together, and with how stronger they are.

"You, me and music. A match made in heaven." He says, as the first song begins to play filling their ears with nostalgia once again.

Warnings & A/N: none I can come up with.

The room was hot, almost stiflingly so as he leaned against the doorframe and watched him read. His feet propped up on the ottoman. Shoes off, of course. No wonder Nat and him were such close friends, he scoffed with a small smile on his lips.

This was the most peaceful he had seen him in quite some time and the sight stir things inside him. Those same stirrings he was experiencing more and more lately around the detective. The same stirrings he was beginning to think were feelings he didn’t want.

It was fun, what they had, wasn’t it? Wasn’t that enough? Why bring messy emotions into? He wasn’t Nat. He didn’t enjoy that.

He watched as Jason scribbled something in the margins of the page before flipping it. Obviously his own book or Nat would be in here already to scold him for defacing one of her precious books, he chuckled quietly.

“I’m not that oblivious. I know you’re there. Why don’t you come closer and get a better vantage point to admire the view?” Jason broke through Mason’s musings with an all too pleased smile on his lips but his eyes still firmly fixed on the words in front of him.

“How can I turn down such an enticing invitation?” Mason purred and was slightly disappointed that Jason had yet to look up and watch him.

He slid slowly down on the couch beside him, his hand sliding up Jason’s thigh and coming to rest at what Ava and Nat were sure to consider a respectable distance from where he wanted to rest it. Or as respectable as he was capable of when it came to the detective.

Leaning his head back against the couch he took Jason up on his offer and admired the view. Taking in all the breath taking details.

The way his eyes crinkled in amusement at the attention he was receiving. The small, faintest of freckles smattered across his cheeks from a bit too much time in the sun. He only noticed them in summer, his least favorite season. But he was beginning to think that if it meant more of this view he could learn to yearn for summer all year round. And the various shades of emerald, darker and deeper than Ava’s icy ones mix. These held a warmth of a freshly sprung spring forest.

And, he grunted and shook himself from those thoughts. That was something more belonging in one of Jason’s ridiculous books of poetry than on his mind with this stunning man sitting beside him.

He slumped lower into his seat and glared at the flames. Trying to keep his mind blank and just enjoy the quiet of the library.

He smiled as Jason’s hand squeezed his own before leaving his cold and wanting to flipping another page. The touch all too brief. He hated the loss of that touch and wanted to reach up and return that hand to his. And he almost did. His hand stopping inches above Jason’s thigh before he settled it back down.

Jason shifted the book to his other hand and laced his fingers into Mason’s. Smiling but not daring to look at the vampire. The same smug smile on his face as Mason glanced between their hands and Jason’s face.

He turned back to the flames and his troubling thought, unaware of his thumb rubbing tender circles across Jason’s skin.

Only then with Mason so lost in thought did Jason register the touch and break from his reading to glance between their hands and Mason’s calm face.

An entirely different smile - a softer, awe-filled one - tugging at his lips as he returned to the prose before him.

i get that its the 'main storyline' but i genuinely do not care about ricky/gina/ej situation.

storylines i rather they focus more on instead:

Kourtney & her being the actual lead of the musical and dealing with anxiety.

Ashlynn and her queer realisation arc

I really wish choices brought back the 'confirming you sexuality' option like they did in the elementalists.

really would've come in handy so i dont get hella uncomfy when the guy characters flirt hard with my mc. and the mc acting like they are into it..

like on a more recent note with loa book 2, that bar scene with whats - his - name , new partner guy...

i hated that scene sm, was not here for him whispering up close and flirting urghhh.

worse cause the option where you could say no to the diamond scene wasnt really a 'no' just a 'not tonight'. like mc only turned him down cause they were with their friends.

when reality... shouldve been like :

no uncomfy flirtations - he just moves away and it stays completely platonic. is that so much to ask for???

ooooh, both of them kind of switch a lot? but they usually prefer it when (smol) Dinah is the big spoon. Dinah finds comfort in the feeling of protecting Adam ( and for once, being allowed to), while Adam finds comfort in not just being held but also how firmly she holds him, like she's here to stay.

17. Who says I love you first?

i imagine Dinah saying it first, though it's more of a response to Adam's, idk, inability? hesitation? to say it. or he may blurt it out, who knows 🤷‍��️ either way, Dinah would be the first one to say it calmly and with intention.

27. Who would sing to their child back to sleep?

i think it would depend on who is awake/wakes up along with the child. and i think, more often than not, that'd be Adam. so, i think he'd be the one who'd usually sing their child back to sleep. i believe he would sing songs he heard as a child himself, or some of the songs he often overhears Dinah sing to the child. but yes, soft!father mode: activated.

i really really want to say yes, but most of the time... not really? i draw for comfort and to un-stress myself and challenging myself requires effort. this attitude makes my progress slower, but prefer it over burn out. but yeah, sometimes i'm in a mood, usually when you see me drawing something different than usual, it's just me going out of my comfort zone. i tend to brag about it in the tags! tbh prompt lists i post are also somehow a challenge for me, need to do some more research for references and i do enjoy it then.
