Visit to the Southern Water Tribe

For the prompt ''Rebirth'', I got inspired by this definition: ''[...] starting to flourish or increase after a decline; revival''. So, I thought about the Southern Water Tribe. How it has flourished, grown prosperous, (as we can see in the comic ''North and South''), after the decline it suffered because of the Hundred Year War. Anyway, I thought it would be nice that these two would go to the Southern Water Tribe together from time to time. :) (I took pages of the comic as reference for the background. Book Synopsis:

There was a time when Zuko truly believed that he would never be happy. When capturing the Avatar and returning home seemed like an impossible feat. When he was adrift on the ocean or starving in the desert or sweeping the floors of a dank tea shop in the slums of Ba Sing Se. When his face was burned by the same hand that used to gently stroke his head and he was banished from his homeland at thirteen. But, after many agonizing years, he learned how to be happy. He let his friends show him the way. At first, the emotion felt almost foreign, and it startled him. He had been living in fear and anger for so long that he knew no other way to be. But slowly, gently, it filled him up, seeping into his bones and allowing him to become the ruler his uncle always knew he could be, one who ruled with both decisive strength and steadfast compassion.

Merry Christmas, everyone! ❤ just going to post here an animatic I made earlier this year for the zutara month.

I like to think that this is the only song Zuko memorize back when Iroh constantly sings this during his banishment in his younger days. This song used to annoy him so much, but this changes years later when his daughter asked him to sing a lullaby for her.
