@sparklymuses luvia is sprinting to his door, covered in dirt and her dress sullied as she's catching her breathe at the door ... around 11:59pm. she catches her breathe, holding up a poorly wrapped present. " h... happy birthday ... shirou! hah ... i shall be your ... final present! on your ... birthday!" she falls into his arms out of exhaustion.

The sound of something barreling down the hallway was certainly noticeable, it was almost like someone had unleashed a pack of wild things that were trampling everything on their way, a true warpath if he had ever heard one. Curiosity stirred, prompting Shirou to cautiously open his door and peer outside. ❝ Luvia-san ? ❞ Like a blue and golden hurricane, the Edelfelt heiress was on his doorstep like she had wrestled a small army – or perhaps only the red devil with pigtails –on her way to see him. The poor present wasn’t in better shape either. When the situation seemed it couldn’t get any weirder, it was like all strength finally abandoned Luvia and she started to fall like a powered-down doll – thankfully Shirou was fast enough (or perhaps just in the right place at the right time) to catch her. That was…certainly a memorable way to make an entrance, especially to celebrate someone’s birthday. Cautiously, Shirou made sure that Luvia was properly being held as he moved to his room and placed the girl on his bed. The poor thing seemed exhausted.

❝ Sweet dreams, Luvia-san. ❞ he smiled fondly. The always so energetic mage certainly looked peaceful sleeping like that. And cute. Still, he was a gentleman and would be taking the couch tonight.

His eyes quickly darts towards the young woman that had been so..’friendly’ enough to ensure the night was not a lonely one for him. “Oh, oh no no it’s nothing like that I assure you Sister.” The mask that was his bright smile was now donned upon his face. Her majesty was clear on her order and he would be extremely thorough with his search for the deserter. There was something interesting about this Sister that had approached him, as a warrior himself, someone inept in the art of war; he knew another weapon of destruction when he saw one. This woman..she was more than what she seemed.

“I assure you, the visit is completely diplomatic, but perhaps you could aid me. Has there been sightings of any outsiders here lately? A mysterious fellow perhaps..” Who knew, maybe she had heard from or seen his designated target.

❛ more like a vacation, but i'll settle for apples instead of oranges. how handy are you? because i'm in need of another hand to wipe the crust from these students' eyes just so they'll pay attention. my class isn't the first of every morning but they should come prepared. ❜ as opposed to nodding off. the early bird always caught the worm.

Like hell, it wasn't! If he hadn't been as beat up as he was, he could've taken care of that explosion without dropping a sweat. But as it stood, the Saiyan Hero was too busy getting his breath back while laying on the ground, with cuts and scrapes all over his face and arms. Though his injuries and pain came second, his main concern was Ryukyu, the one who'd shielded him from said explosion. He couldn't help but remember how Piccolo had almost died from doing the same thing for him, all those years ago.

He groaned and dragged himself closer to her. He just needed a few more seconds, a few more seconds and he'd get his strength back... Once he was close enough, he spoke. "W-we both know that's not true. It's my fault, you shouldn't have gotten hurt on my account." It should've been the other way around, he was supposed to protect others.

"C-come on, we gotta get out of here. Get you someplace safe. After that... After that, I'll come back and rip their heads off."

over the years, ochako was always taught that everyone gets a gift at christmas. teachers, friends, family and well in this case, her.. boss!

when rykyu hands ochako the gift, the young hero is in awe. she'd gotten something for rykyu but didn't think that her sensei would have done the same for her! holding it, ochako almost doesn't want to open it! all she can do is smile sincerely.

" wow! oh! thank you so much, ryuku-sensei! " a hand slides behind her head with a laugh. " you really didn't have to get me anything though! " sheepishly, she smiles, and pulls a small bag out from behind her, holding it out to her boss. " i-- uh, it's just a small little something! as a thank you! for teaching me so much this past year! it really has been an honor working with you and your team! " with a bow, ochako's still smiling. " thank you for having me! i am looking forwards to learning even more in the coming year! "

inside the small gift bag are a few assorted golden wrapped candies. she remembered reading something about dragons liking gold, and, a coffee mug with a small gift card inside to a local coffee shop. the coffe cup read ' world's best teacher ' but there was a line through the word teacher and ochako had sharpie'd in boss.
