honestly, seeing a solid row of likes/reblogs from the same person makes me imagine them going through my art like it's some kind of delectable buffet, holding a giant plate and going "hmm, yes, a little of this...some of that...ooh, and can't forget this..." except, you know, on the internet. with the feeling of that one Tom Hanks gif.

dallas_liu a very bittersweet couple of days last week. i couldnt be more grateful to have been invited to the FYSEE @netflix event for our show. getting to meet and chat with members of @theacademy in person alongside my family was an absolute treat. i felt so proud of everyone when listening to them talk about their work on stage, but a bit of sadness had hit me when i realized that this event marked the very end for the first season of our show. nonetheless, im glad that we got to end it on such a good note:) thank you to everyone that came to see us and thank you for all of the support!

You seem to be under the impression that you can just come and be rude - on my blog!!

Let me keep this simple for you - my asks we’re about bucktommy anddddddd buddie - the two things are non mutually exclusive.

My posts were not anti bucktommy in any way - I am pro them as a relationship. My thinking that they have a fixed period of existing as a canon ship doesn’t mean I shouldn’t tag my posts with their tag - that’s not how tagging works you need to learn the concept that you’re gonna see stuff in the tags you don’t always agree with or like - I see it literally alllll the time in multiple tags - including the buddie tag.

My thinking a ship has a shelf life doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to post about it, nor does it mean you get to come and be rude. Plus there are others who get upset if you talk about buck Tommy in any way and don’t use the tag - so no one can win in this war. So if you don’t want to see my posts - your choice is easy - block me - but don’t go around demanding others censoring themselves for you specifically - fandom is for everyone and it’s up to you to curate your space - not for me to do it for you. So don’t come into my inbox being all self righteous - it’s not a good look!

That Minotaur look is another great example of the hybridization of civilian garb and express supervillain design elements, although supervillains have always had an easier time incorporating businesswear into their looks. Also wouldn't look out of place as an antagonist in the Otherverse

Salmon Running (Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)

A self-indulgent look at some of the scientists working on Project Zero Dawn, and the way their passion for the planet and for their field echo across catastrophe. Side note, the main character here is named after a colleague that I really admire :)

Green and Growing Things (Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)

Still my favorite. A long series of vignettes covering the life and times of Elisabet Sobeck, with plants as a common uniting theme.

Project Firebird (Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)

The first of the Weird AU Squad. A trip into orbit to retrieve the alpha-build APOLLO archive from a rapidly-crumbling Odyssey gives Aloy a bit more than she bargained for, as she's haunted by visions of the past, and stalked through the ship's deteriorating corridors by rogue Specters… and far worse.

Blue Horizon (Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)

A self-indulgent AU based on a friend's art that I got WAY too into worldbuilding for, and now it's spiraling out of control in my head, haha. AKA "This is what happens when you let a fish ecologist write a Mermaid AU" Women want her, fish fear her, mermaids are of mixed opinions.

Indenture (Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)

Indentured (ɪndentʃəʳd) adjective [usually ADJECTIVE noun] In the past, an indentured worker was one who was forced to work for someone for a period of time, because of an agreement made by people in authority. AKA "The AU where I dial up the Zenith Villain Absurdity and break off the knob"
