So I've been working on a secret project since the last day that I worked at my actual job. I've been keeping it to myself since I have been wary of how much exposure I gave Damon, but I think I may finally be comfortable enough to at least give a sneak peak at what has been occupying my time since I have no commissions right now.

But even still I am very cautious.

If any of you want to see this piece I'm working on, I ask you with the most sincerity to please let me know. Because as it currently stands, I am still scared of how every perceives Damon and his stand in the MCU.

For my new followers who don't know, Damon Renner is my MCU insert who I have been working on diligently since 2008 when the first Iron Man debuted. And while I love him very deeply (more as a son, not narcissism), I know that OCs are not usually accepted in the public. Especially not gay ones who are with a canonically "straight" character. After a couple of particularly nasty exchanges I had with a couple of blogs on here - who I will leave anonymous for their reputation - I became very cautious of showing Damon. Even as little as I have, it was a struggle.

But after extensively sharing his details with @harlekin6, @the-eldritch-sorcerer and @stewardofningishzida, as well as drawing him and Tony to represent my thanks in @sobeautifullyobsessed's Christmas gift, I think...I am ready to share more of his story.

Even still, I'll give this post 24 hours to see how people react to it.

💙 ((Hello - I'd like to thank you for your initial ask, and for the embrasive, supportive tenor I see you are meaning to set for anyone interested in role playing with you. I definitely want to pursue further interaction [including a continuation of our current thread] but I need to let you know a few things before we go on.

First, I'm a writer of Romance at every opportunity, so that your characterization of Stephen is right in my wheelhouse. I've been roleplaying on and off for several years with @doctorstrangeaskblog, and had in the past with a couple of others, though they didn't last beyond several months each. Our characters had been 'exclusive', but recently that Mun opened up to possible relationships with other characters, stipulating that all such threads [including ours] would be closed. They also indicated that I should feel free to play with other Stephens, if I so wished. I didn't expect to encounter another Stephen, but I'd like to jump on this opportunity.

However, I'm incredibly invested in my Beauty--she's one of my dearest OFCs--and I find that I'd like to continue with her in your universe, if possible. I'd make some changes to her history, career, etc [like a true multiversal Variant] but her basic characteristics would remain, with perhaps her poetic, romantic tendencies given greater play. If this works for you, please let me know. In addition, I feel an obligation of sorts to run this by 'other Stephen's' Mun, before we commence. I plan to ask them once I hear back from you.

In the meantime, I'm enjoying reading your threads with others, and find them a wonderful appetizer to what might create together.

One last thing- tumblr has me on shadow ban currently [damn that logarithm!] which presents communications challenges, but I've figured out a few back channels. I look forward to hearing back from you and planning out something fun and creatively satisfying!))

I am glad that my version of Stephen has appealed to you in such a strong manner. I had every hope when I started this blog that I would succeed in making at least one person happy with my take on his personality. I tend to play him a little more softly than most, leaning towards his comic persona mixed into his MCU version played by Mr. Cumberbatch who is a huge inspiration to me. I am sorry to be hearing that your relationship with the other blog owner is coming to an end; it seems like such a waste to put all of that work behind them and you. But I pass no judgement, as it's not my place to.

I was told by my moderator @purplefeathersandblackleather that you were actually looking for a Stephen Strange of your own and that was what led me to reach out to you. I am interested in seeing where your new version of Beauty and my variant of Stephen venture together. As I've said, the thread with you - which can end at any given point - is your own Multiverse, different from anyone else who reaches out to me. Behold! The mimic Drillman! == + Mimic Drillmen have metallic like digits on the ends of their limbs. These metal claws help them dig through soil, clay, gravel, and sand. They have a harder time digging through concrete and asphalt when young, but the claws sharpen as they age. + This mimic type have very limited mouth movement and consumes only a liquid diet. The proboscis is as sharp as a hypodermic needle and is used to impale prey and to drain them of their bodily fluids. + This mimic is also one of the few mimics that is actually VENOMOUS. It's tongue has nasty barbs laced with a powerful neurotoxin on the end of it that allow it to paralyze prey incredibly fast. + They are communal mimics and live in groups while underground. They are known to make nests in places with underground locations, such as basements, bank vaults, utility plants, or even sewers. + They have a symbiotic relationship with Speaker Mimics! Both help each other cover their own weaknesses and even cooperate when living in close quarters with each other. Instead, they communicate through Morse code, knocking, grunts, or sign language. + They are sensitive to light, from being primarily underground dwellers, and they can only see via vibrations. + They do not know what a human is and don't view them as a food source, if they accidentally grab the human, they'll let them go in surprise. + Their young are called "Drillets". + The one that joins the human's pack is actually an old friend of Pal, who he grew up with!

For 💙: Hello :) I red your rules and figured I'd would start with this. Nice to meet you.

The muns and the muses pronouns are both She/Her and the mun goes by the name of Speedy. Natasha goes by her usual names (Natasha, Nat, Red, Black Widow and what have you).

I like to write developing relationships, hurt/comfort stories / slice of life / going on missions all combined with fluff and fun :) and would like to write with your Stephen.

I don't have many fancy edits or formating and English is my second language. (I give that as a heads up as my English sometimes isn't the cleanest.)

I hope I did this right and would look forward to writing a story if you still have space for that :)

Greetings to you as well, Speedy. Always a pleasure to see a new face on the blog. I absolutely have room for you on the blog and I am intrigued to see how a relationship between Stephen and Agent Romanoff could develop if given the chance since I think they have personalities that could benefit each other. I don't mind that English is not your first language since it's very clear that you speak it will enough for me to be able to understand your meaning. You don't need any fancy edits, that's perfectly fine. It's all about what you're comfortable with here! I would be more than happy to write a developing relationship with these characters that perhaps starts perhaps with them meeting before Civil War or during when they're looking for an outside opinion on the Sokovian Accords and she is sent to speak with him since SHIELD is aware of his abilities. So, with au comp going on, ik the fandom is abuzz rn. So uh

I'm not a fan of bridging Genshin and Honkai, but the authors seem to be doing it anyway, so... blame Hoyo for this post.

tl;dr of Honkai lore

At the core of Honkai's cosmogony are two concepts. The Imaginary Tree — a tree of branching parallel universes, each twig of which is a timeline and each leaf a world. And The Sea of Quanta — a boundless place of entropy and chaos from which the Imaginary tree spawned.

Order and chaos, basically. They exist in constant conflict, the tree tries to consume the sea of quanta and the sea tries to flood and dissolve the tree.

When a world fails to persist it can "fall" from the tree into the sea of quanta, becoming an unstable fragmented version of itself called a bubble universe. A shadow of a proper world. Such a universe is eventually dissolved in the sea.

Bubbles universes can also be artificially created or spawned from someone's memories. Either way they are unstable. If I recall correctly, Genshin was confirmed to be a bubble universe in a Honkai 3rd easter egg.

Ether Anchors

There's a technology allowing to extend a bubble universe's lifespan, is called an Ether Anchor. An Ether Anchor holds together fragments of a bubble universe that follow a fixed set of laws.

It seems to be more of a place/space anomaly than an object (“a topological formation that exists between the dimensional manifolds”), if I understood Durandal's and Roland's lore correctly, but also can take the form of an object, if honkai wiki is to be believed.

(I think space anomalies are anchor points, not the anchor itself? the places where it sews fragments of reality together. I'm still figuring this part out)

Or maybe not exactly different bubble universes but rather fragments of the same bubble universe (or, since we are in a multiverse, these could be the same thing)?

There are still the topics of the Abyss (and why it's not The Sea of Quanta), Descenders, whether the anchors need to be sustained in some way, Tsaritsa's goals, why does everyone who has seen the Abyss speaks of ultimate injustice, Alice and Hexenzirkel in general, what is Irminsul exactly, and, of course, Childe, why Childe's promise of a battle at the edge of the universe is more important than it might seem, what are world cycles, and why Childe's part of 4.2 story sucked so much (I now have a Lore Explanation. or maybe a copium overdose. probably both).

For now I'm calling it though. Whatever Khaenri'ahns messed up, it had to do something with Teyvat's Aether Anchor.
