The long awaited(?) 7th round of character profiles! We looking at the Babylon rogues this time cuz I love the birb fam

Jettison (Jet): Professional racer and part-time annoying little brother of the group, Jet is the more lively heart of his little flock. Still young and hot-headed, He is quick to anger and never backs down from a challenge. Even at the cost of his health, much to the other's dismay.

Wave: The only one Jet even sort of listens to, Wave is the brains of the group. She often cares for and trains Jet for his races as his personal coach but loves to tinker with machines in her free time. She's the calmest in messy situations but don't let that trick you into thinking she wont snap a neck if need be.

Storm: The protective eldest brother of the group. He speaks little and is on guard always after escaping their home city many years ago with his three siblings. Storm is often lost in thoughts and thus appears to never pay attention to many conversations, but he remembers them quite well. He's often the one carrying around Jet's things, being the strongest and all.

Ruin (oc): Storm's only blood sibling of the flock, Ruin is often in competition with Jet for whatever strikes her fancy in the moment. Crafty and mischievous, most problems for the group are often caused by her but with her quick wit, can eventually get the group out of it. Chaotic, she loves pranks and jokes, but will have to be reigned in when she inevitability goes too far.

The Bimbo Curse of Clover Castle Update 6

So without getting too into the weeds or spoilery, I have an item in BCCC that can replace a player's race/species with a Monster Girl variant. In this test so far, I kinda BSed my way through the mechanics of that.

(Obligatory peek into how this came up in the test, redacted to not spoil which item caused this!)

..As with everyone who has eaten a food power up, she seems so wrapped up in her meal, she's oblivious to her skin going from a light tan to a charcoal dark gray. Her pale blonde hair darkened as well, growing thicker and black as her ears took on a similar color, getting wider and shifting to the top of her head. That same black hair fur starts growing around her calves and arms with red tufts at the tops and at the center of her chest. By the time she finishes her food, chomping her last bite with her pointed teeth, she sighs in relief and looks around at the others with orange eyes contrasted by black sclera and a small flame flickering at the corner of each eye. "What?" She wags her tail in confusion.

Anyway! I've narrowed down to a list of 6 Monster Girl flavors you can be changed into, spanning 6 monster families. Feel free to let me know what you think, if you have thoughts on their mechanics, and which type of Monster Girl you want to become!

Whump prompt no. 1

Whumpee being captured by a Vampire Whumper, who uses them as a blood bag and treats them like dirt for a long time. Then once they’re broken, Whumper is bored and gets a new blood bag to break, abandoning Whumpee.

But as a final send off, Whumper infects Whumpee with the vampire curse, then leaves them alone to fend for themselves in the wilderness.

With no one to guide them and no knowledge of how to be a vampire, Whumpee succumbs to their hunger and vampire instincts helplessly until either someone helps them, or they go feral (all while still being broken and having emotional baggage and trauma from Whumper’s treatment).

edit: thanks @mudcrabmassacre for the correction, smilodon fatalis did not in fact go extinct in 1023 AD. the actual prediction is around 10,000 years ago - I think i may have missed a zero or two.

That's so cool! And they found a few of them, and they're now growing seedlings in greenhouses for eventual replanting!

Quercus tardifolia is a relic species leftover from when the climate was much cooler and wetter in the past, and can only really live in a few high-elevation spots in Texas. It's definitely still at risk of extinction due to increasing heat and drought caused by climate change, but the discovery means this species still has a chance.
