Mmmmmm spider oc :)c

Her name is Winona Walters, or Winnie Walters, and she’s known as Spidergirl/Spider-Tox! Her earth (Earth-198392) was rendered uninhabitable on the surface following a nuclear war, forcing all of the humans to live in underground societies while the fauna and flora on the surface were mutated into beasts and other things. Those underground societies became utopias, and where Winnie lives, Utopia York, is the center of the bustling new society. Her mother was a researcher for not alchemax, but another company that studied the radioactive creatures on the surface.

One day, on bring-your-daughter-to-work day, Winnie’s mother had brought (8yo) her into the office when it was attacked by a radioactive spider monster that had found its way from the surface. Her mom didn’t survive but Winnie did, hospitalized with a vicious bite on the back of her neck. Winnie’s powers didn’t come instantly, she was bitten when she was very young but her powers started showing as a teen (like how symptoms of radiation sometimes don’t show up for a while), but it came with nasty side effects (of which im still working on)

So she has the typical web slinging stuff, but she also has the power to melt anything she touches. She learns that the hard way and has to wear special gloves, and also she can glow in the dark like radium (it’s kinda useless but it’s cool aesthetically). Winnie goes around fighting crime and saving Utopia York from mutant surface creatures and those who want to exploit destructive materials left over from the ancient war that destroyed the surface!

Fellow Tumblrfolk! I'm looking for a blog to follow that's dedicated to posting facts about bugs (aka snails, slugs, spiders, ants, you name it). I have a specific need, though! There cannot be ANY images (snails and slugs are an exception). I kind of have a phobia that I've gotten better about as I've grown up, but I still have much to work on. This is kind of why I'm looking for blogs like this! If I learn more about them without seeing them, I might get curious about what they look like, and go about desensitizing at my own pace.

I'm willing to follow multiple blogs if, say, arachnid only, and such like that. Because I know they're a vast section of creatures that it's unfair to, y'know, group them together. Like saying a whale is a fish or something?

Queen Veronica the Fifth (V)! The Late Queen of Venostar, and Toxecia's mother. Vivi for short because 'Veronica V'.

I've been meaning to put her ref together for a while. Have a bonus Riki Fuhrmann style of her too (: Plus child Toxecia.

A rather strict Queen, but she cared for her people and her family, and was overall cherished in the kingdom. She's the Fifth Veronica in a massive family tree of royal spiders. She's a mix of bossy and nice, a caring person hidden behind a status to uphold. She has a rather deep, sultry voice.

She took her role very seriously as Queen, the result of generations of Queens passing their hopes and dreams onto their children. Why is that, you might ask? It's because their species have very short lifespans... barely able to live longer than 40 years. A bad gene or something, that kinda just... kills them after a certain amount of time. Venostar scientists have been studying how to rid this gene for almost 100 years to allow a Queen to live a fully prosperous life.

Her husband (To be named + designed) was the perfect balance she needed in her life. Fun, full of energy, silly and hopelessly romantic. He's basically like Asgore without the murdering kids part lmao. With him, Veronica almost seems like a different person.

Together they have Toxecia, their darling little daughter. Sadly Veronica and Tox don't get along very well for the majority of their life, and Tox finds more comfort with her father. He taught her how to use a sword during their time together.

As a child, Tox develops an over-productive poison gland. It first occurs during a speech Veronica is giving to the kingdom. That day would send the family into a depressive spiral.

Most of the kingdom views Toxecia as a freak, a cursed child. She can't leave the castle without leaving a trail of paralyzing poison around the town. Eventually Veronica prevents her from leaving the castle unattended. Tox would only go into town with her father from there on out... until the day that he passes away, when Tox was a young teen.

Veronica and Tox both suffer from this loss. Veronica missing that positive, lighthearted personality that helped her for so long, and Tox losing a lot of confidence. Tox inherits her dads Sword (The one Veronica is holding in the 2nd pic)

Veronica would try to find a new love, but struggled to do so. She became more flirty in this time, and also more depressed. She had gotten close to another female spider at least, but that was a secret kept to them alone 🤫

Sadly, as her time was coming, she prepared Toxecia to inherit the throne, and Veronica would pass away when Tox was barely 18.

She remains buried beside her husband. Tox visits their grave weekly, even if they didn't get along, she misses them both... the royal advisor takes her parents place now.

Alone and young, Toxecia goes on to rule a kingdom that rejects her.

There’s no warnings for this one I don’t think!

Hobie had zoned out a while ago as Miguel debriefed him, Miles, and Pav for their next mission. He tried to listen. He really honestly did. Miguel just has such a boring face and tone, nothing but ‘teamwork’ this and ‘rules’ that or his personal favorite, ‘Hobie stop going in head first!’ That followed by him probably cursing in Spanish.

He slouched in the chair and glanced over at Miles who was paying very close attention to everything being said. His leg bouncing as he…is he taking notes?!

Before Hobie could poke fun at him a portal opened revealing two people dressed in civilian clothes unlike the other spiders. One was a taller man that he recognized as one of his few friends in the society. He had a symbiote called venom. The other was someone he didn’t recognize but wanted to very soon when he saw those form fitting jeans and that sweet looking face.

“This is Eric James aka Venom of Earth 6-45 and [f.name] [l.name] aka Toxin of Earth 5-428. They’re gonna be your muscle for this mission but that doesn’t mean slack off. I’ll leave you to come up with a plan for tomorrow.” Hobie rolled his eyes as he walked off.

He felt eyes on him and turned to see you reading over a file but it wasn’t you that was staring. It was the only black head with large white eyes and razor teeth that came from your shoulder. It stared at him silently before you sighed and looked up at him apologetic. “Sorry about them. They have a staring problem.” Your voice was soft and calm. He didn’t know how to explain it but you sounded like lavender.

“I’m working on it!” The head argued with a rainbow sheen shining in the light.

You nodded and laughed a bit, “you’re working on it.”

The Brit smirked, “eh, s’lright. I get stares often.”

You looked at him and batted your lashes, “I bet you do.” Your symbiote visibly perked up, “oh we are flirting?” White milky eyes wide and grin even larger. You huff, “well I was trying Tox.” The head bobbed as it nodded, “tell him he is hot!” “Toxin! Please!”

Hobie struggled to hold in his laughter as he watched the two of you bicker. Miles walked up beside him and stared concerned and curious. “What’s happening?” The boy asked.

His punk friend through an arm over his shoulder, “pretty sure ‘m gettin’ hit on, bruv.”

“Ugh, you can’t read the room for shit!”

“I’m trying to help you [name]! You’re not doing a very good job, he's laughing at you…”

“I wonder why…”

Tox is young, incredibly young and the way he died was terrible. If you asked him, his Imp life is better than his human life :( It's not an oc without a bit of trauma. He's treated like Blitzø's son, Blitzø ADORES Tox, possibly more than Loona which is crazy.

my spider-sona is a dumb bitch named Toxin because they REALLY liked the idea of the "x" in Toxin being spider-shaped and in order to help appeal to civilians they're INSISTENT on being called "The Cute and Cuddly Neighborhood Toxin" which is like. bro just change your fucking name.

anyways they're even dumber because they weren't bit by a spider. they were bit by a centipede. and upon waking up with hyper-flexibility, super-strength, venomous fangs, and the ability to molt their skin once a day, as well as a mysterious bite wound too big to be a spider's, they just went. "oh wow... I have SPIDER POWERS!!!!"

Anyways their legal name is, in fact, Toxin, because Toxin is a cool fucking name. somehow no one has made the connection, it's always "hey Tox man did you see this weird vigilante cribbed your name that's fucked up" and Toxin just goes "haha yeah"

Lol, that's exactly what I waa picturing since that's the most recent Spider-Man media I've interacted with.

Rex steps into the bunk that Dogma and Tup share with several other vod'e from Torrent and he stops dead in his tracks.

Arachne, still dressed in her spandex but with her mask hanging from the wall, is fast asleep on Dogma's chest.

It also looks like there are bandages of some sort under her uniform(?).

"What happened?" Rex asks Dogma and Tup, both of whom look very stressed for men no longer at war.

"She said something about venom?" Tup says, "but we ran a tox screen, and she hasn't been poisoned-"

Dogma lightly strokes Arache's head, "Something skewered her, like a spear of some sort. Kix already wrapped her up, but she was barely coherent when she fell on Fives and Echo-"

"Fell?!"

"Yeah. Off a building, she hit the ground hard by all accounts." Tup says, not half as concerned about that the fact that she has a hole in her torso.

In my quest to get vet care for my animals, I have another more urgent problem that I need help paying for. My cat has a tooth infection that's shoving her fang downward. While she's acting stoic about it and it's not interfering with her eating, there's no doubt it's causing her pain. I was hoping you could reblog this post for me so that it gets more visibility.

Could we see a team for Tox? >w<

Here we are! Tox has a few spider ones, but mostly pokemon that are found in the forest. Since this is the Pokemon world, Araña is the Joltik(or could be the Ariados if you want to headcanon that Spinarak was Araña, but I prefer Joltik). Araña just didn't want to evolve into Galvantula, and Tox wasn't going to make her.

Joltik: He first found her when traveling through the forest after leaving his home. He noticed that she was sick, so did his best to take care of her. She was very grateful and bonded with him. She likes to ride on his head when they're traveling and going for walks.

Ariados: He had found a wounded Spinarak, and he and Araña helped it. It had a broken leg, but after a few weeks, it was healed thanks to Araña using her webs to hold the leg in place and Tox feeding him. They bonded as well, and along the way, he evolved into Ariados. He's called Spinner.

Arbok: He found this one much later than the spiders, sometime after meeting Erros and moving into the new village. It was terrorizing the village one day, causing all sorts of mayhem and threatening the people. Tox had challenged it, and despite some scrapes and bites from it, he wrestled it down. It retreated, but it seems to stalk Tox when he's close to the forest. After a while of this, and seeing how he interacts with other forest Pokemon, it slowly came closer to him each time he visited the forest. Until it just seemed to follow him around closer than it ever did before. Tox was aware of it at some point before it was close enough that it wasn't even behind the nearby trees, and was seeing what it would do. The Arbok was doing the same, wondering if he would attack it, but he didn't, since he was protecting the village before. Tox offered it one of the berries he was gathering, in a sense offering peace. When it accepted, he was glad. With regular visits, it soon came to trust him and they became friends. The village was wary of the snake until Tox explained what happened and that they won't have to worry about him. The Arbok, now named Stalker(it was a nickname Tox had come up with when it was still watching him from the trees, and the name stuck), sometimes helps the villagers when they need help, much to the shock and wariness of the ones who were still unconvinced of it's betterment of itself.

Zorua: This one was interesting for him to find, especially with its illusion ability, but he didn't even know that this Zorua was even there. It was always disguised as a different pokemon, but it still went up to him to check him out. Eventually, after many visits had given Zorua enough courage to show its true self, which surprised Tox. It had came up to him as one of the other pokemon it had disguised itself as and then dropped its illusion after a bit. Tox had never even heard of this pokemon before, so he was amazed that a pokemon besides Ditto could do something like this. He called him Sneaks for how it disguised itself from him in plain sight.

Chansey: This pokemon found him on one of his journeys to the larger town. He had run into a small group of bandits trying to rob a carriage, and opted to help the people in the carriage. One of them got lucky and managed to stable him, but he made quick work with the lot of them. He made sure that everyone in the carriage was alright, and moved on, knowing he could make it to the town alright. The Chansey happened to have spotted him, and upon noticing that he was injured, caught up with him and helped to heal him. He tried to tell ot that he was okay, that it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't taking no for an answer. It then continued to follow him to make sure he didn't hurt himself on the rest of his travels. They ended up bonding enough that the Chansey decided to stay with him, and is now his travel buddy. He didn't call her anything except Chansey because he couldn't think of a better nickname.

Venipede: This one just straight up broke into his house cause it smelled good food. Like, broken window and glass everywhere on the counter as it's eating a whole fresh berry pie type of thing. Spinner was about to attack this intruder if Tox hadn't calmed things down. He just told the Benipede that if it wanted some it could have just asked instead of breaking in, he was more than generous to share some. He made another one for everyone else, though the Venipede complained, Tox told him that he already ate a whole pie for himself, so it was fair he didn't get this one. It sticks around anyway. Tox calls him Muncher.
