honestly the gwen vs mj as peter's love interest debate is so dumb, not just bc ship wars in general are cringe, but bc like... theyre not really comparable? like peter loved gwen and she's incredibly important to the spider-man mythos but. they werent. together that long. in the scheme of things. like gwen was in less than 100 issues before she died, and yeah, she's been brought back in various ways since then, but she's never been like... fully a couple with peter again. whereas peter and mj were romantically involved for literal decades. sometimes they were on and off, esp more recently, but mj was still often present in peter's life, and they just have so much more history and content about them. like if there's going to be a love interest rivalry for peter, it makes more sense for it to be mj vs felicia, not mj vs gwen. which there is plenty of discussion about, too, so i just find it odd that so many people still focus on petergwen so much like... what are you even rooting for here. they havent been a couple since the literal 70s.

Spider-Fam AU (Part 1 of ???)

After playing through spiderman 2 on the PS5, I have fallen in love with the idea of mentor Peter. I mean, peters a cool teen and all but the idea of him, our of collage and trying to struggle with his adult life and also mentoring a spiderkid (his own or just a kid with spider powers) just hits all the right spots.

So I've decided to create an AU about this.

Right now it'll just be a collection of tumblr notes, but hopefully I'll make it into a story one day (Or 5. my mind has been running with ideas of what I can do with the story).

To start off the AU, the timeline is the MCU, and Peter becomes Spiderman at 15. However, the bite is in 1999, 13 years before the avengers team up. Spiderman appears to the scene, the first ever Superhero in the world.

In this world, Peter struggles with his school life and nightlife without any help from other heroes. Peter is friends with MJ and Ned, who find out his secret and they collaborate to make the first real Spider-Man Suit, one with tech and the classic suit. Uncle Ben dies, teaches Peter the lesson, MJ starts dating Peter, and Peter has a pretty easy first three years of Spider-Man.

Course, bc it's a spiderman story, nothing like that lasts for long...

New hc!!! Everyone just kinda assumes that Angel is a dumb bimbo, being a pornstar and all, that's the persona he portrays in most of his films. But as we know his family is part of the Mafia, so assuming he participated in the family business he must have learned a lot about management and business strategy. Just a lot of knowledge on how to run the family business.

So the whole hotel crew is very shocked when Charlie is having a full on breakdown (because let's be honest, she does NOT know how to run a hotel, much less has the experience to do it) and Angel just casually checks the finances of the hotel very expertly. Doesn't even break a sweat.
