I have noticed a sore lack of End!Jon content so I'm making my own. "But no-one escapes at the end." - Jonathan Sims, Mag 200. This is such a goddamn line. This whole episode he has been going on and on, saying he's going to put an end to this, wondering if the Fears can fear death, and trying to control fate. I love to think about what it would have been like if he had an actual avatar of the End. I'm picturing Jon walking around whispering doom prophecies in people's ears and then the next day they die or something. Harbinger Jon. On another note, he and Web!Martin would be frenemies but for mortal enemies who are in love. Like:

Web!Martin: Hello you bastard, been ruining my plans lately I suppose. End!Jon: Yeah, basically. What are you gonna do about, huh bitch? Web!Martin: Wouldn't you like to know corpse boy. Dinner's at 7, we're trying out that new restaurant you wonderful garbage heep. End!Jon: Of course my darling piece of shit. See you then.

And they always try and thwart each other so now the shows like Doctor Who, where Jon is setting up some big tragedy, then Martin "just so happens to get hurt" causing a bunch of ambulances to make it in time. Or Martin is trying to mainpulate someone to do something, and Jon just kills one of their family members completely derailing the entire thing. Also Tim and Sasha are two Spiral avatars who just show up occasionally with lawn chairs and popcorn.

TMA AU ( TimSasha Lives ) P.2

First part -> (Desolation!Tim)

Sasha also survived by transforming into an avatar, an End avatar.

But with strong marks of the Spiral.

bc she was kidnapped by Michael right before Not!Them killed her

Although Not!Them took Sasha's life for months.

All those months, Sasha was lost among Michael's corridors, during that time she accepted her "death" and the fact that she no longer existed to anyone in the world.

(Michael, in the form of riddles and jokes, revealed what Not!Them had done)

Her acceptance gave way for The End to join her, preventing the Spiral from affecting more of her, but transforming her into an End avatar in the process.

She was rescued by Tim and Martin during the ending of MAG S2, but neither of them recognized her.

Then, she left the institute (her spiral marks broke the Eye ones, not even Elias knew that she returned) and began to investigate everything related to fears by herself, shortly after, she descovers the reality of the institute, and what it means to be the archivist. (or at least a part of it)

At the beginning of season 3, Melanie finds photos of the real Sasha and shows them to Tim.

in that moment, Tim and Martin realized she is the woman they saved from the Spiral's corridors.

They tried to look for her, but they couldn't.

On the other side, Sasha was looking for Jon.

She found Jon while Daisy was chasing after him. (MAG 91)

Jon KNOWS she was the Real Sasha just by seeing her (even though he doesn't remember her)

And they all meet again when they go to face Elías.

(the key she has was given to her by Michael, a few weeks after leaving the corridors, as a "prize for surviving the spiral without going completely crazy", with this Sasha can open doors that can take her anywhere she wants, That's how she found Jon, although they can be tricky ;)

My character designs for my Tim is the Archivist AU. Yes, this is a self-indulgent AU, and yes everyone lives.

I have a whole note doc with everything that happens within the five seasons. Hopefully, I get to writing something at least.

These designs are aimed to be near season 2, as Martin hasn't fully spiraled yet, but has the taste of the spiral within him.

I'm feeling vintage, so I'm going waaaaaaay back to a time when spiral sequences were a required element in the SP. Few skaters mastered the spiral sequence like Sasha Cohen, so let's take a look at the sequence from her 2005-06 Dark Eyes short program.

First, I-spiral (which Sasha popularized!) into a fan. No struggle for the I position and superb balance into the fan position.

The sign of a great fan spiral position isn't just the height of the free leg but minimal bend in the working leg. Bending the working knee can help cheat the position by offsetting a lack of strength or flexibility. Note the minimal knee bend here! Then the spirals dreams are made of: a nearly 180 degree arabesque held over a change of edge. I love how she tugs it just a little bit higher to get the full extension and the point in the toes is *chef kiss*.

And finally, just because she can, a Beillmann position to round out the ice-spanning set:

Spiral sequences are a hallmark of early IJS programs. When I watch them now they feel like an attempt to reconcile some of the showiness of 6.0 skating with the bullet points of IJS. Not every skater survived the transition. For every sublime Sasha Cohen moment there were a dozen skaters with limp Kerrigan spirals and dodgy catch-foots.

The spiral sequence was replaced with the choreographic sequence as of the 2012-13 season, a nod to changing tastes and shifting technical priorities. Few skaters now could hit a 180 arabesque, which is why I get so excited when I see a classic, well-supported spiral in the competitive wild.

I just had a thought. since gertrude never committed to the eye, then it would have technically been possible for another power to claim her, right?

what if, when she went to sannikov land, either something happened to michael or she went alone? what if she was the one who went in to stop the spiral and the great twisting?

what if gertrude became the distortion?

can you imagine jonah hearing news of gertrude's death/disappearance, and moving to appoint a new archivist... and then one day a yellow door opens in his office, and something that once was gertrude (but also most certainly was never gertrude) steps out

I think that distortion!gertrude might have actually been powerful and smart enough to stop jonah's plans

also imagine jon, trying to figure out what happened to the previous head archivist (because there's no evidence of a body, nobody knows what happened to her, nobody even knows where she might have been when she "died"), and one day she just... shows up. but there's something extremely wrong with her?

imagine sasha, who knew gertrude, who worked with her, seeing her standing on the street outside her flat, distorted by the window pane. imagine sasha having to separate the gertrude she knew from the gertrude who is helping her to stop jane prentiss.

I just think the idea is really compelling (pun... only slightly intended)

⚠️eyes-Apocalypse babyyy!!

Okey, so...

Tim and Sasha also escaped from the institute at the end of season 4.

Neither of them were linked to the institute since they were avatars, but they stayed to protect those who were. (especially Martin)

When Jon and Martin went to ScotlandThey went to a hotel recommended by a ""Sasha's contact""

(which she met during the months after she escaped from the spiral door, but she doesn't talk much about those times)

WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE MIKAELE'S HOTEL.

They spent 3 weeks there, not knowing what to do.

Until their phones stopped working.

They thought it was strange but also that it was a consequence of the spiral. (they arrived at the hotel through the door)

They wouldn't have given it any importance if it weren't for a strange feeling that flooded them both, something had changed, but they didn't know what.

After a while Mikaele asked them to go out for a few minutes.

And the first thing they saw was a giant eye in the sky.

They panicked, looking for a way to contact Jon, Martin or Basira but they couldn't.

After 2 weeks they decided they had to leave, they spent another week preparing for whatever they would find out there.

The first person they found was Helen, the second was Oliver, and the third was Basira, she told them that Jon and Martin were alive and were heading to the Penopticon.

that is their destiny.
