SF2023 - Info & Rules

Sports Anime Festival (or SportsFest) is a 2 months long event dedicated exclusively to sports animanga fandoms. Participants complete “big-bang”-like challenges and “kink meme”-like fills or just create for the sake of creating or to relax and connect with fellow fans.

Felicitation Ceremony

Dronacharya Group Of Institutions, Greater Noida, hosted Zonal Sports Fest 2023-24 which was organized by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow scheduled from 3rd - 4th November, 2023 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The two-day carnival witnessed amazing enthusiasm and sportsmanship amongst the participants.

The sports fest involved events having different categories of games and each game was supervised by a faculty coordinator. On the first day of the tournament, various sporting events were held which witnessed large participation and tremendous enthusiasm among the student’s community.

At the end of the second day the winners were felicitated with certificates, medals and trophy distributed by the Chief Guest  Shri Ankit Kumar (Sub- Divisional Magistrate(SDM) and honourable Director of the college Prof. (Dr.) Seema Shukla, encouraged the audience with her motivational words and declared the end of ceremony. This competition rendered a sporting environment full of fun and mutual bonds.

Some got it wrong some got it right.

Before the big event, we had to have consistent practice with our chants. We even had to change the chant many times until we finally got to the right one. We would practice for hours every week, during the dance some got it wrong, some got it right.

The dance was pretty much easy although it was a bit confusing at first.

Sportsfest '23 at Lyceum of Subic Bay!

As a spectator at the Sportsfest 2023 of Lyceum of Subic Bay, I had the pleasure of watching some of the best basketball and volleyball players from various departments compete against each other. While I was there to support all the players, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as I cheered on the players from my course department, Customs Administration.

The atmosphere was electric as the teams took to the court, and the excitement was palpable in the air. I was particularly thrilled to watch the volleyball and basketball games, as these were the sports that I enjoyed the most. The players displayed remarkable skill and athleticism, and it was clear that they had put in a lot of practice and hard work leading up to the Sportsfest.

The Customs Administration teams did not disappoint. The volleyball team played with impressive teamwork and coordination, executing each play with precision and skill. The basketball team, on the other hand, was explosive and fast-paced, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats with every pass, steal, and dunk.

As a member of the Customs Administration department, it was an incredible feeling to see my fellow students compete at such a high level. I felt a strong sense of camaraderie with my peers and was proud to be part of the Customs Administration family. It was evident that the players had put in a lot of effort to prepare for the Sportsfest, and their hard work paid off as they put up a great performance.

The Sportsfest was not only about the competition but also about fostering a sense of community and sportsmanship. I was impressed by the way the players conducted themselves on and off the court, displaying good sportsmanship, and encouraging each other regardless of the outcome. It was evident that everyone was there to have fun and enjoy the experience.

The Sportsfest 2023 was an incredible event that showcased the best of Lyceum of Subic Bay's athletic talent. I was as I watched thrilled to watch the Customs Administration teams compete and represent our department with pride. The Sportsfest was a great opportunity for students to come together and celebrate their shared passion for sports and physical activity, and I am already looking forward to next year's event.

Maharishi University of Information Technology has organized a grand Cultural-Sports-Literary fest, Arihant 2023 from 13th March 2023 to 18th March 2023. The fest took off yesterday on 13th March 2023, with the Inauguration ceremony which witnessed great fervour, enthusiasm, and excitement among one and all. The Inauguration Ceremony commenced with ‘pooja’ to seek blessings of Maa Saraswati and Maharishi ji followed by lamplighting by the dignitaries. Then, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (MUIT) Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Dean-Academics (Lucknow campus) Dr. Sapan Asthana addressed the students with their words of motivation followed by administering of oath to keep up the sportsman spirit. To mark the commencement of the fest, coloured balloons were released in the sky. For the Inaugural ceremony, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (MUIT) Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Dean-Academics (Lucknow campus) Dr. Sapan Asthana were present along with Dy Dean Academic (Lucknow campus) along with Deans/ Dy Deans, Faculty and students of all Schools of Lucknow campus. AU Where Phos Invents Sports I Guess

Edit: It's my first time on tumblr, and I'm new to making image descriptions, but i hope this is a good description!

While I was half asleep, I came up with this idea after having been at a sportsfest celebration. I thought: "Hey it would be funny if the gems played badminton or something"

So I drew this all in like 20 minutes in hopes I remembered the concepts I somehow made half asleep. Basically, Kongo assigns Phos to make events and recreational activities for the Gems to enjoy. Phos, pretty much out of ideas, goes to Dia like in the original story, and gets inspiration from her technique of deflecting the Lunarian's arrows.

So Phos decides to enlist Dia's help in making a game that is pretty much Badminton (But with a baseball bat i guess).

In this AU, Phos also makes a promise to Cinnabar, though a bit different. Phos promises Cinnabar to give them a way to bond with the other gems without their poison getting in the way. So now we have the wonderful idea of Cinnabar playing badminton because of Phos encouraging them.

I have other ideas like Phos somehow inventing Ice Hockey with Antarc in the winter arc. And Phos and Alexandrite making board games. But those will be spoken of on another day.

I have watched the HNK anime a year ago and made this with my very bad memory of the plot, so i'm not sure if any of this will make sense, but I hope this AU is at least pretty decent enough to exist.

Summary: when they’d divided up assignments for the school paper, Katniss had requested covering the wrestling matches specifically. There’s nothing she’d love to see more than that stupid grin whipped off her fellow Valedictorian candidate, Peeta Mellark’s face as he’s pinned to the mat.

At least that’s how it started,

But lately she’s begun daydreaming of being the one doing the pinning, and to her dismay, the thought is a much more satisfying one.

Fun fact: those werent actually the vestiges during the first round of the sportsfest 1v1 fights, that was just my desire to deck Shinso manifesting

To be fair: Shinso is trying to say something to piss Izuku off so he'll talk back. Not a good reflection of true personality.

But also I remember the discussion on like. "Do my friends hate me or do I just need to go to sleep?" with Shinso because while he /tells/ us that he was ostracized for having a 'villainous' Quirk, we don't get to /see/ it

Like personally I believe him because *gestures to the other characters we do see on-screen depiction of ostracization/bullying/abuse because of their Quirk or lack thereof* but some people wonder if it's just a Goob situation and ya boy needs some prozac.
