Through it all, the Burbs remained a tight-knit clan, their love an anchor amid life's capricious waves. At Pinaccle Farms their first work day started later than Rae would have liked. While she was by no means a disciplined Sim (rather sloppy actually) she knew that planting seeds was a lot easier in the cool morning hours than in the midday sun. It took them almost all day to plant the 2 fields with tomatoes.

Bree was sure that the tomatoes planted in her "super-growers" would grow a lot faster and would be more nutritious. But to be sure she would have to examine them under the microscope as soon as they were ready for harvest.

The sleeping arrangements were not for everyone, Bree had a hard time with 3 people breathing and occacionally snoring.

Niahm was also up early the next morning and decided to explore nature, which in this instance included an angry skunk.

The pair spent the rest of the night getting to know one another and eventually flirting.

Shortly after Lilith left, Mary-Sue went into labor. Look at how guilty Daniel looks!

They had twin girls, is anyone surprised?

Before Daniel even gets back from the hospital Lilith is asking him out. WOW.

He accepts but then focuses on his family. AS HE SHOULD.

Mary-Sue heads to work the next day and Daniel invites over his lover. At least she can’t say she doesn’t know he is in a serious relationship....

Mary-Sue gets a once in a lifetime chance card and it earns her a promotion. She takes Public Relations as her job choice. 

#Parent life. For a guy who is juggling two women and two babies Daniel is doing a fantastic job though the pressure is getting worser.

Anyway, I was today years old when I learned that sims can read chris cross apple sauce on the bed AND read. It was very cute.

Tao who's afraid of drifting apart from his friends because he may lose them without being able to say goodbye. Tao who's afraid of falling to deep in love (romantically) with people because he saw how crushed his mother was when his dad died. Tao who just wants his friends to be happy and protected.

Imagine you live in pelican town. The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.

And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...

...

Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!

Surely he can't get any weirder... Right?

When the SCIA promised Flora her own project, it sure sounded more glamorous than a little wooden shed next to the dig site. It's not that Flora needed luxury, but as of now she had exactly 2 things: a bunch of rusty shovels and her own two hands, at this pace she would need 100 seasons to make any progress. So when Finley decided to drop in and ask how it was going, Flora told her exactly how it was going!

"I'm sorry", Carter said to Finley. "It's just that Flora is worried about the progress of her work without the necessary funding."

"I do understand that", Finley really did. But without phones and computers communication with the government or the SCIA contact were difficult and even slower than usual.

Carter knew Flora never meant to be mean, but she was very passionate about her work and a little hot-headed. But there were two things that never failed to calm her down: Back rubs and good food.

The next morning Finley decided to talk to Flora. She knew being mayor of a town full of scientists (self-opinionated ones at that) would come with its challenges. And although she didn't feel like she did anything wrong she apologized, because she knew it was important for such a small community to get along. And while Flora was quick to anger, she was also somebody who was quick to forgive.

At Carter's recommendation she even decided to read a book about anger management.

Maybe it was spring or maybe it was the fact that Carter always had her back, but somehow her feeeling towards Carter had shifted from friendship to love and he seemed to feel the same.

The two didn't waste any time either.
