You know the punk rock documentary that I said I contributed photos to?

Well I finally went to a screening of it the other day and watched it for the first time.

I expected that my photos might show up on an end credit montage or something...but no, my teenage face was full screen, mid-film about 3 times, and also a mention in the credits!

It was the most bizarre feeling.

That TV channel meant the world to me and shaped my musical tastes for decades to come. To be a part of this documentary, even in a such a small way, was amazing.

I met the director and one of the original owners of the channel and chatted punk rock and memories for about 40 odd minutes!

It was nice to say thank you in person, because that channel and the music they showed broke the mold and really did change the lives of the kids that watched it.

The documentary was so well put together, it answered all my questions and most importantly it was made with love. I couldn't recommend it more for people who remember it, and actually lived through that era.

To top it off, the director gifted me a cast and crew t-shirt for my little contribution!

The p-rock documentary had it's UK Premiere last night and I'm actually in it! (via a montage of photos from the that era and named on the credits!)

This music channel shaped my youth and was a very important part of the UK punk rock scene during the early 00's.

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it down to London for the premiere screening but I cannot wait to see the actual documentary myself.
