The Clouds Kin Community Public Opening

Hello everyone! The Clouds is a discord server for members of the fictionkin and otherkin community.

My fellow mods and I have run this group for years, but have recently rebooted the server - and after a soft opening in september to friends and senior members, we are looking forward to our first public opening!

Some notes: the server is 16+ only (with a current majority adult member count); we are system friendly; The Clouds is a place for mature discussion and fun! We have activities such as a group Minecraft server planned soon as well :)

Hello! I kin Steve Harrington from Stranger things and me and a couple others are looking for canonmates from a divergent timeline!!

Both Eddie and Max survived, and we’re pretty sure we killed Vecna though the details on that are unclear. We got Eddie to a hospital pretty much just in time and Max still had her coma, but woke up and made a recovery.

Most of our memories revolve around the hospital and their individual recoveries. Dustin, El, Lucas, Erica and I were pretty much daily visitors, but most of the party were around a lot too! I was of course their main chauffeur.

I’ll give a quick little relationships summary too! Ronance ended up getting together while I was super caught up in the hospital stuff, but had to go long distance when Nancy left for college. During Max’s recovery she got together with both Lucas and Eleven. Eddie and I started dating a while after he was released from the hospital after what was honestly way too long pining.

So far we’ve just got me, Max, and El!! Looking for pretty much anyone else, but Especially Eddie, Dustin, and Lucas. Interact here and I’ll message you or feel free to reach out!

i adore in fics when people find out about julian’s enhancements and then julian lets down his guard and people can see an actual a change, like suddenly there’s something unfamiliar about him? something much deeper and mature? not because everything about julian before the revelation has been a SHAM or anything, i just like the idea of all these intelligent people having totally underestimated julian, the young, naive doctor, when really julian’s been one step ahead of them the whole time, letting them see him a certain way. the concept of others finally getting to see they had the wrong idea, especially back when they sort of saw julian as somewhat less than, the whole time. it’s about that moment of oh. he’s been the smartest guy in the room the whole time. them suddenly not seeing naivety, but seeing power. that. i like that.

i probably wouldn’t describe myself as christian but i have a healthy fixation on the writings of christian mystics & a strong inclination toward religious studies in general… !! but it’s more of a scholarly thing for me

the works of simone weil & the confessions of st augustine are really foundational texts for me . i was raised buddhist though
