The Trophy Hunter
Very proud of this piece and that I finally managed to finish it :) Most of my artworks just need the right time.
I guess my interpretation of 'Ego death' :)

Funny thing a crown can do
It makes one think they're better than you
They think their circlet makes them God
That they won't be burried beneath the sod
So remind them with a blade or mace
That they lack any divine grace.

The Forest God! An AU Stannis Baratheon where he was resurrected. Brought back to life from the depths of my imagination as the protector of the old forest and all who dwell there.

i was like "hey jake & cosmic owl & prismo seem like tabletop roleplaying game types of guys" & it spiraled from there .
so here r the player characters of jake, prismo, cosmic owl, scarab and cake. scarab probably wouldnt get invited logically but the allure of a bug paladin was too strong

remember when i made that one silly presentation about newsies and what bugs they would be. well. behold... bugsies!!! warning for bugs (cartoonish) under the cut
first off, david as a stag beetle!
then we have jack as an ashworth's rustic!
crutchy--giraffe weevil!
and final (for now), race as a dung beetle (with a cigar)!
psst. feel free to drop an ask of who else i should draw as a bug. i have already set headcanons for some other characters, but thinking of new ones will be fun too!!!

Alchemical Love
Love as a transformative act in many ways, and for me this artpiece represents a lot of changes for myself, the process of drawing it included as it went through changes overtime and the emotions attached to it as well.
'Finish what you started' isn't always applicable but for me it was an important part of the process for this, as an act of (self)love.

Hey, wanna hear something disturbing?
So, Lidia's son, Actaeon. Let's talk about his name.
Actaeon is a character from Greek mythology. Artemis, goddess of the hunt, was bathing in a pool, when a hunter comes across her, and is overcome with lust.
Enraged, Artemis, transforms the hunter in a stag, his hunting dogs, unable to recognize the "prey" as a their master, tear the stag apart.
The hunter's name was Actaeon.
