Tbh, I think if you read an mxtx novel with the expectation that the story’s hero is meant to learn some valuable lesson that fundamentally changes their character and views on life, then you are reading her books wrong. There’s not a single mxtx protag (currently) in existence who changes by the end of the story. It’s the world they live in that is changed because of their actions:

—Shen Yuan’s Shen Qingqiu transforms a toxic masculinity fantasy into a queer romance in which the unhappy stallion protagonist with a harem in the 100s is given his monogamous happy ending with a husband he actually loves and values with reciprocity. They fuck off to their forever honeymoon after exposing the corruptness of the cultivation world that ruined Luo Binghe’s life to begin with, and all of this was only possibly because Shen Yuan was just a genuinely nice fucking person. The world lives to see another day and a fuckton of people who died (or didn’t even get to exist) in the original stallion novel get to live long, more fulfilled lives in Shen Yuan’s revision.

—Wei Wuxian is killed for sticking up for a condemned clan, is resurrected against his will, and still stands by his actions in his first life while protecting those that continued to wrongfully condemn him. As a reward, the corpses of the people he died protecting save him and his loved ones (and the rest of the bystanders who killed them), he bags himself the most perfect and perfectly matched man in the cultivation world, and he continues to help others and do what he wants to the ire of the cultivation world who are now too embarrassed to fight him. The younger generation look to him as a beloved teacher, protector, and role model to aspire towards.

—Xie Lian rebelled against hierarchy as a beloved prince of a prospering kingdom, then as a beloved god against the older gods, then as a reviled scraps god against the then most popular gods of the present day. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and to never hold resentment even if that kindness blew up in his face (and it often did). He gets to marry the man (ghost) who has seen him at his best and absolute worst and chooses him unconditionally, something no one else has ever done before. At the end of the novel, he is the god that all the other gods look to for guidance and strength.

None of these stories humble these characters for being good people. Even when their morally righteous actions net them unimaginably terrible results, even when they falter in the face of their failures, they ultimately remain true to their goodness. And none of the books humble them for that, because being good is not a character flaw. So in short: please stop talking about how mxtx protags “needed” to learn valuable lessons to “be good people” when they were already good people from the very beginning. These stories are not about how the world changes people but how genuinely good people can change the world just by actively being kind even with no benefit to themselves and especially if that kindness leads to detriment.

⟡ this might have been stated before, but the degree your sun sign is at could be the age at which you start to connect with it or the traits associated with it

for example, i have sagittarius sun at 19°. at nineteen years old, i went away from home on my own for the first time (travel). i also expanded my learning by going to college, and i delved deeper into spirituality.

⟡ taurus rules over the ears and second house, so it’s only natural placements relating to it could explain our hearing! your second house sign could explain how or why you like to listen to music.

i have virgo in the 2H and noticed that i like to listen to music with headphones because i can hear the intricacies of the instruments and harmonies better. cancer 2H — likes listening to music that coincides with their emotions. might be more reserved when sharing their music tastes scorpio 2H — could listen to indie/underground music. might like to listen to songs on low volume. the type to eavesdrop of conversations while listening. aries 2H — prefers listening to their music over a speaker. the type to have a workout or hype playlist.

⟡ the twelfth house governs what’s hidden - like emotions and beings without a physical form, so the sign in your twelfth house could explain how easy or difficult it is for you to pick up on energies.

i have cancer in my 12H along with jupiter, so it’s very easy for me to pick up on different energies; in fact, sometimes i attract different energies to my own without even knowing about it! leo 12H — you may be more confident in when you pick up energies, so in a way it could be easier for you, but in a different way than for water signs. different energies may find it easy to speak with you or be around you pisces 12H - this sign might find it the easiest ot pick up on different energies because it’s at home! you may pass your own energy onto others without knowing it. people may want to feed off your energy because of how intoxicating it might be - this could extend to scoprio 12H too sagittarius 12H - you might have to actively search out energies when it comes to pick up on them, or maybe you just like to. they don’t really come to you naturally like with pisces.

Project Stallion Prime #5

After a couple of weeks I'm back to working on my custom. Now comes the hardest part: rerooting the hair. Instead of a reroot tool I'm using a doll needle and pulling it through with pliers.

One of the main reasons I created this project is, aside the sheer irony of turning a character notorious for being a bad friend into the very symbol of friendship, I also needed to learn mistakes can and will and DO HAPPEN. That not every screw up comes with devastating consequences.

Though Sky Lancer might not feel the same...

Oh yeah I finally gave stallion prime a name: Sky Lancer! Sky comes from the skyboom shield and lance. It's also to tie into the celestial theming certain characters have (Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, etc).

What I'm going to do is scrape the horn off and make a new one. That way I can finish putting the hair plugs better.

Increased testosterone has sooo many side effects. And yet you want the dose of 50 men. I find you in the gym looking at one of the biggest men there working out. A 21 year old jock from the local college. I grin as I set my magic in motion. You’re none the wiser as you continue to walk on the treadmill like a sloth.

Walking to the locker room you walk smack dab into the chest of the jock were you just watching. Your mouth even caught some of the sweat that was dripping from this pecs. He patted you on your head. Laughing. Even his sweaty hands left sweet on you as he continued to walk away back to the weight rack Little did he know your change is trigger by DNA. His DNA specifically. You sit down on the bench sweating more than usual and you begin to take your shoes off noticing how much more wet they are.

Your feet are leaving wet foot prints everywhere but what’s even more is that they aren’t your feet ! You flex the. And bend the toes but they aren’t yours ! Yours legs begin to get hairier and more muscular and you’re not even sure what to do. The changes speed up and you begging to sweat even more as you member bulges out and your underwear drops down from the weight it’s not holding. Your abs become defined as your arms bending to blow up with muscle along with your chest. Every inch of you is covered in thick greasy sweat at this point. You go to the mirror. Leaving those wet footprints in every step of your wake and you watch in shock as your face transforms into that of the jock you were watching earlier. You’re not a sex at copy of him. Only you are so much more. You have the testosterone of 50 men compared to him. And to make sure no one is any the wiser I have stuck him in your old body. Weak and feeble. He’s being forced to act like you but in his kind he knows something is not right and he screaming for help.

You go back to the lockers. Smelling like Bo. Sweat dripping from every inch of your body. You find his duffel bag and begin to get dressed in your new clothes. Even his regular clothes are covered in sweat. And they smell rancid as though they have been cleaned. Sliding on his socks even they are damp. Sliding on his shoes they are wet from all the his body produced. And that was before the boost you got. Even more is the size of them. Being much larger at a size 16. You’re going to be lumbering around in his body for the rest of your life now. I suggest keeping water nearby. You don’t want to dehydrate you sweaty stallion.
