I ADORE HIM. he's such a funny little weirdo. he strikes a very bizarre balance between being the one to propose utterly batshit ideas and also the one who shuts down any stunts that may be too dangerous. he loves his friends and he wants to push them to be their best selves but he doesn't want to scare them away and lose them like he's lost so many people in the past!

wonderlands x showtime is such a good group for him because they're all quite lonely people come together to be each other's support. whenever nene remarks that rui is doing much better now that he's in a supportive group of friends ... it gets to me, man.
