guys, fu*king Twitter/X is exploding with BuckyNat and SteveSharon AI generated images. I get it that this is kind of fun for someone, but please, please, keep in mind that when you're using an AI software you're basically robbing real artists/persons of their work - fanartists, photographer, comic artist, concept artists... - , breaking a copyright, and adding more dubious material to an already image-ridden system.

All the artists/fan artists - me included- work really hard to create new and original content everyday, and most of us do that for free in our spare time just for passion and love, and it's sad and disheartening to know that our content can be re-used/scraped by an AI without our consent and without compensation, to generate heartless-dead eyed images - AI generated images that most of the times get much more hype and attention that our original human made content does - !!!

So, I know it's fun, it's easy and all that, but still, please, try to think about it and try to be respectfull of all the humans that are behind the images that your AI software needs to work properly. Thank you!

Steve and Stephen don't interact much one-on-one so I'm really glad that Stephen is popping in and out of this Captain America comic. From the Avengers, Stephen's closer to Tony, Peter, Wanda, Bruce, and Carol than he is to Steve, and Steve, obviously, is good friends with everyone. However, their dynamic is great and I hope they speak more in the future.

This Steve and Stephen interaction from Death of Doctor Strange always makes me laugh:

LMAO I love this! The implication that Stephen is paying more attention to Steve and Sharon's relationship instead of the demons he's fighting is hilarious.

Also I really love that Stephen tried to push Steve into asking Sharon to help him. He needs that sometimes.

jackson lanzing is my new bestie. got to talk all things sharon with him for like 20 mins, super cool dude. was super open about mcu synergy in comics, and doesn't like when they're required to do certain things. said that's it pretty much confirmed for 4 more issues of thunderbolts, and that he's trying to get a destroyer/sharon mini. also he lowkey implied that he doesn't like peggy LOL

the vibes there are simply just the same i think! both babs and sharon are women who take no shit and kick ass, and to me, feel like characters running parallel arcs. they both sometimes are a little too guarded for their own good, but eventually work towards opening up and being able to trust their partners. i also like how they are some of the most versatile characters within their respective comic universes, being able to work in stories that don't prominently feature their main love interests. both seem like pretty integral people in the larger mythos of their universes too.

and of course, steve and dick are both leaders who use hope as their main tool to inspire others. obviously, if you're going for a one for one parallel in terms of Importance to their universe, steve and bruce are probably the easier comparison. but i think steve and dick are more similar, in that their main motivation is always to fight for the little guy. both are very grounded, even though they have a lot of reason not to be, and they work well as street level heroes because of that innate ability they have to connect to others, no matter the circumstance.

both sharon and babs have also been done dirty by movie adaptations 💀 (sharon's character assassination in the mcu and then the batgirl movie being cancelled before release). but maybe that's a conversation for another day because i could go on and on and ON about how both of them deserve so much more than they have gotten in modern media
