so back when viceland was consistently putting out documentaries and docu-series that weren't only about weed and sensationalized pop culture, hailey gates hosted an exploratory travel show - states of undress - focused around fashion events within different cultures and countries/nations/states.

season 1 episode 5 is her 2015 trip to palestine which aired in may 2016. hailey visits west bank and gaza, and while i'm not palestinian and can't vouch for the accuracy of presentation, i do think it can function as a simple primer on the politics and reality of living under both israeli military control and hamas control, but, most importantly, it humanizes palestinians in a way most western media refuses to.

I like to imagine after a few years everlark get really comfortable around each other; especially because they spend so much time one on one and being hermits.
