Before You Go (Steggy Drabble)
Summary: A series of Wednesday 100 Drabbles written for Steggy.
A/N: Written for Steggy Week 2023 Day 1: Headcanons and Meta.
Many of you know that I am a big fan of the headcanon that Steve and Peggy wrote letters to each other while he was on the USO tour, and so this one is based off the idea that Peggy continues those letters, even after he's gone.
This is the only one I’m posting for right now, but keep an eye out because there are more that I’ve written that I’ll upload here!
Huge shout out to @steggyfanevents for hosting this event!

Y/N: I'm not her, you know. Natasha told me about Peggy. Steve: Don't. Don't say another word. Y/N: I'm sorry about her, Steve, but I have lost people too. Steve: You have no idea what loss is. Y/N: Everybody I have cared for has either died or left me. Everybody fucking except for you! So don't tell me I'd be safer with somebody else, because the truth is I would just be more scared.
POV: Y/N went with Nat to visit Steve after Peggy's funeral. She offered to stay and be there for him, but he shuts her out due to his mixed emotions about everything.
Might make a oneshot based on this. It's tempting!

I Do Like a Man With a Plan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Steggy Week 2023 - Day 1 (Sunday): Headcanons & Meta
Thanks as always to @steggyfanevents for celebrating another year of Steggy. Join us for the rest of the week!
Just a little last minute drabble about a headcanon that @dorrinverrakai1 and I have often mused upon after seeing other lovely posts about it on tumblr, as I've been rewatching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries this summer. In rewatching the first episode "Cocaine Blues" where Miss Fisher first crosses paths with Jack Robinson, her telling him flirtatiously "I do like a man with a plan" felt like such a perfect echo for Peggy and Steve. And just how much of a kinship the ladies could feel over their meaningful personal but also professional relationships with men of action that genuinely respected them.
Phryne Fisher is a distant relative to the Carter family but to Peggy Carter, she will always just simply be "Aunt Phryne." They've always gotten along, birds of a feather. And just before the onset of World War II, Aunt Phryne now having returned semi-permanently to London though this time accompanied by Jack Robinson, both having gone through the horrors of war once as young people, but neither willing to ignore it for the relative safety of other corners of the world. It gives Peggy plenty of opportunities to spend time with her still fearless and ferocious honorary Aunt.
Aunt Phryne needles details about the man that's clearly been occupying much of her niece's mind even with all the air raid sirens and the plenty of secretive work she was doing. Until finally, on a rare moment of mutual leave, Peggy is able to introduce Steve Rogers.
"Captain America!" Phryne gasped in delight, shamelessly admiring his physique. "The Star Spangled man with a plan." She turns to Peggy whose cheeks are growing pinker by the moment. "Ah, as if there were ever really any doubt that you were related to me."
"I do so love a man with a plan after all," said Aunt Phryne winking boldly, her arm draped over Jack's. "Isn't that right Jack?"
(Anyway, I picture a nice honeymoon visit post-war to spend some enjoyable time with Phryne & Jack. And lots of salacious double entendres coming from Phyrne.)

Steggy Rec List
I meant to have this done at the beginning of the month in time for @steggyfanevents' Steggy Month but...that didn't end up happening ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It is still April though! Please enjoy some of my favorite fics about Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers, my favorite canon couple.
A Second Chance At Keeping Him Safe by @buckywiththegoodhair86 (Teen And Up Audiences, 69,126 words)
Summary: Peggy always wished there was more she could have done to save Steve. Then Howard finds the Valkyrie, and somehow, miraculously, Steve is still alive in the wreckage. But when Steve wakes up, they realize that not all of him survived the crash. He doesn't remember anything. At all. But Peggy wanted another chance to keep him safe and now she's got it. And she's not going to fail this time.
Fraternization by @doctorhelena (Teen And Up Audiences, 3,424 words)
Summary: As if Carter and Rogers weren’t bad enough separately. Phillips is getting too old for this.
More below the cut!
Coffee Talk by @indiefic (General Audiences, 1,435 words, No Archive Warnings Apply)
Summary: Jack Thompson is sick of Peggy Carter thinking she can do whatever she wants. Also available as a podfic read by blackglass
Mind the Gap by @indiefic (Explicit, 27,106 words)
Summary: Set in 1974. Peggy is the fifity-five year old director of SHIELD and Steve's been found and thawed out. The series started as a drabble on Tumblr. Chapters have been updated so they are in chronological order.
Midnight Oil, Weaponized Aphrodisiacs, and Other Ignoramus Inventions by @indiefic (Explicit, 8,416 words)
Summary: General McGuinness stole one of Howard's more sinister inventions, Midnight Oil. Now the toxic compound is on the loose and America's golden boy has been exposed. Agent Carter to the rescue.
Twice Shy by justanotherStonyfan (Explicit, 13,976 words)
Summary: "What can I get you?" he said. "Hmm," she said, deciding what excuse to use as she pressed herself full-length against him in the darkness, as she slid herself upright beside him and pressed cool fingers to the center of his chest. "I'm…." She drew out the words, as though she were still considering what to tell him, what justification was needed, and Steve kept his eyes closed. He knew she could see him regardless of the lack of light. "…thirsty?"
6th and Williams by quigonejinn (Teen And Up Audiences, 1,453 words)
Summary: An hour passes, and so does the rain.
The Struck Bell by quigonejinn (General Audiences, 1,426 words)
Summary: Jean Grey inside Steve Rogers's head.
The Next Guy by @roboticonography (Teen And Up Audiences, 11,460 words)
Summary: "It’s the one subject that’s never open for discussion: Peggy’s grand love affair with Captain America. It’s not exactly a secret—in fact, it’s become something of a legend within the SSR. Everyone and their dog has a version of the romantic tale, pieced together through third-hand eyewitness accounts and wild speculation. There’s only one person Daniel wants to hear the story from, though, and she ain’t talking."
No Other Man by @roboticonography (Mature, 11,391 words)
Note: This is a sequel/companion to the previous fic
Summary: Peggy looks after a defrosted Steve during his recovery. But there are things she hasn't told him...
All Day, Every Day by @roboticonography (Mature, 21,143 words)
Summary: Steve is on his mission to return the Infinity Stones when his quantum suit glitches, and he finds himself sliding sideways through alternate realities, encountering different versions of himself. None of whom are particularly happy to see him. Can he do this all day? Time will tell!
if this is home by Siria (General Audiences, 17,145 words)
Summary: Steve keeps waking up in the wrong place.
Everything Old is New Again by Siria (Teen And Up Audiences, 8,460 words)
Summary: So maybe a job as an SSR desk clerk wasn't as glamorous as punching out Hitler more than two hundred times, but it still put a roof over Steve's head and food on the table.

Writing Patterns
Rules: Share the first line of your last ten published works or as many as you are able and see if there are any patterns!
Tagged by the lovely @theawkwardterrier at just the moment I needed a brain break!
A ringing phone in 1949 was a far more common thing than it had been in 2023, but that didn’t stop Steve from worrying whenever theirs rang while Peggy was out, even though he knew perfectly well that nobody who worked for the SSR had any idea that Peggy even had someone at home to notify if anything should go wrong. - If You Could Read My Mind
2. “And did they ever actually return your research?” Peggy asked Jane, taking a sip of her virgin mojito and then setting it down on the coffee table in front of her with an envious look at Jane's gin and tonic. - A Stutter in Time, Chapter 17
3. It was funny, thought Steve, what passed for a good time in the middle of a war.  - Sweet Dreams
4. When the slightly battered Quinjet finally set down in the landing bay, Peggy was there waiting, just as Steve had hoped, eyeing him with a particularly fierce tenderness that told him she'd missed him every bit much as he'd missed her. - Hopelessly Stuck on You
5. “Well, you’re brave, I’ll give you that,” Howard Stark told him, both amused and a little impressed, judging by his voice and the quirk of his mustache. - Until Then (We'll Have to Muddle Through, Somehow)
6. Howard smirked. - One Hundred Words to Say "I Love You" (A Collection of Steggy Drabbles)
7. “Kiss me,” said Natasha. - "I've Got the Shield. You've Got the Sword" (A Collection of PeggyNat Drabbles)
8. Steve gave Bucky a fond, if exasperated, look as he and Peggy slid into the back seat of the jeep, Howard vaulting gleefully over the front passenger door. - Between the Acres of the Rye
9. It wasn’t at all unusual for Peggy and Steve to be called into Phillips’ office simultaneously - Peggy was the Howling Commandos’ official liaison, after all, and Steve was their leader. - Comfort and Joy: The Lost Chapter
10. “That’s your phone,” Steve said into Peggy’s ear. - Caps out of the Bag
Hmm. Like @theawkwardterrier, I guess I usually like to let the reader know right away whose head they're in (or at least, who the candidates are), and I also like to immediately set the scene regarding what time period and universe we're in.
I generally tend towards wordy first sentences, but I think I just tend towards wordy sentences all the time, really. 😂 (I did notice that my two shortest openings, at two words long and four words long, belong to my two drabble collections, which tracks!)
Tagging: @buckywiththegoodhair86, @invidiosa, @behindthelabels, @thesokovianaccords, @melliabee, @somewhereapart, @broadwayqueenregal, @captainjimothycarter, and anyone else who wants to do it!

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
I try not to do angty endings unless they're drabbles like After Thought where Peggy see's Steve in her office during EG and thinks he's a hallucination. Or Roses where Steve buys Peggy flowers. Or Beast Inside and it's awkward ending
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Most of my fics are fluffy and have happy ending but the first one to come to mind would be Welcome To The Stork Club
7. Do you write crossovers?
No, I tend to get overwhelmed with more then three characters lol.

15. What are your writing strengths?
I hope that it's description or emotions.
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
Does saying everything work? Because I feel like I am not strong in many areas, but I wish to be.
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I enjoy it! I think more people should do it more often.
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Steggy
19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
I've written for it before but I'd love to do another Stede/Ed fic but I feel like I won't be able to capture them quite well.
20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Top 3:
Best Things In Life (I have everything planned out, it's just the overwhelming feeling I get because I know people love it and I don't want to disappoint more then I already have)
Master Of Time (This came about because of Rogers the musical and I have no idea where I am going with it but I am 101% vibing with it)
The Star Spangled Nightmare (who doesn't love a superhero/insurance agent relationship?)
Honorary Mention:
A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (It's just so fluff and loving of Steve, Bucky, and Peggy taking kid!Tony to Disney World)

Wednesday 100 challenge
Another Steggy drabble
In her head, Peggy had called him that for a long time. But there were many things left unsaid when he went into the ice.  That was one of them.
On the Brooklyn Bridge, grieving as she poured his blood into the river, she whispered it.
In 1949, beyond her wildest dreams, he came back from the future.
“What did you call me?” Steve sounded incredulous, as though he hadn’t heard right.
Peggy lifted her face, streaked with joyful tears, from resting on his shoulder.
“My darling!”
And the delighted, awestruck look in his eyes was worth all the waiting.

Something for @roboticonography, who asked me to embrace the heatwave.
___________________________________
Peggy groaned, angrily pushing the pillow from under her head and off the bed where it joined the comforter already on the floor.
She pressed her cheek to the mattress which was marginally cooler than the pillow.
A blessing in the scorching heat she had to suffer.
Summer should be banned from New York, as the city clearly couldn't provide conditions to deal with that hell.
She missed the old, English buildings with their cold walls and neverceasing drafts.
Here nothing eased the heat.
She was wearing Steve's undershirt. And nothing else.
It still felt like too much.
Living felt too much in that bloody heatwave.
"Do something about it." Peggy moved her leg and poked Steve's calf with her toes.
"Hmm."
Steve was sprawled on his back, unabashedly naked. With his hands under his head, he was listening to some podcast on his phone.
Peggy kicked him, harder than it was necessary.
"Do. Something." She growled.
The mattress started losing its chill factor, adding to Peggy's annoyance.
"It's not like I can turn off the sun." Steve sighed, removing his ear buds.
They already had two fans working. All the drapes were closed shutting off most of the sunlight.
Their apartment didn't have AC and Steve was too cheap to install one right now in the middle of a heatwave which, as he put it, companies used to introduce their greedy, inhuman mark-up.
Peggy knew the prices of the same product differed drastically, depending on the season, but she might murder Steve before winter comes if he doesn't find a way to cool their apartment.
"You fought alien armies, surely you can aid your wife before she catches on fire!"
Steve stared at her for a long moment then shook his head.
"And you say I'm dramatic," he muttered under his breath as he got off the bed.
Peggy had no desire to move even a bit, but Steve doing a nude parade was motivating enough to lift her head and watch.
It was a glorious view.
He disappeared in the kitchen for a long moment. Peggy sighed in disappointment and flopped on her back.
She wiggled out of the undershirt, but the relief was short-lived. It was so fucking hot.
"Here." Steve came back with a cup in his hand. He picked something out of it and placed it on Peggy's lips.
Cold piece melted fast and Peggy opened her mouth to swallow the ice chip.
Steve popped one into his mouth, too, then put the cup on Peggy's nightstand.
He returned to bed, climbing next to Peggy.
With his finger he wiped a trickle of water on the side of Peggy's mouth then leaned down to kiss her.
A small piece of ice was still in his mouth and he rolled it over his tongue, slipping it between Peggy's parted lips.
Her moan rushed his blood south.
Steve rolled on top of her. Not breaking their kiss, he fumbled for another ice chip.
"Cooler now?" he asked, nipping her lower lip.
"Yes and no." She rasped out, her eyes half closed.
Peggy gripped his hair, trying to pull him down for another kiss, but Steve moved.
"Fuck!" Peggy's back arched, fingers clenching in Steve's hair, when suddenly his mouth closed around her nipple.
First there was cold on her heated skin - ice sliding over her nipple. Then Steve's hot breath and his tongue flicking the little peak.
Peggy raked her fingernails down Steve's scalp and over his nape as he worked over her breasts.
When he reached for another ice piece and moved even lower, she dropped her hands to the sides and fisted the sheet.
It was torment. Delicious, overwhelming torture of contrasting sensations.
And it didn't cool her off, not at all.
"Don't you even dare." Peggy breathed out, feeling cold drops trickling down the juncture of her thigh.
Steve's long eyelashes fluttered and he looked up at her. All mischief and resolve.
He rolled the ice over her clit then sucked.
Peggy screamed. Her back bowed, thighs trembling.
Steve held her legs open as he mouthed at her core. He focused on licking around her folds until ice melted completely, he knew better than to try fucking her with his tongue with the cold still on it.
Adding his fingers, he quickly brought her to another peak.
By the time Peggy's second orgasm subsided, she wasn’t sure if the sheets are wet from ice or her.
It didn't matter much. Nor did the temperature.
Only Steve's heat when he covered her body with his and slid inside.
Usually taking him in was a bit of a stretch, but he got her so sopping she felt only pleasant fullness.
Later, Steve rolled onto his back, with Peggy on top. She rested her head on his chest, her hand right over his hammering heart.
"We're so sticky we might as well be glued together." Peggy sighed, but made no attempt to move away.
"I wouldn't mind." Steve shrugged.
His fingers traced patterns on her back. When he dipped lower and palmed Peggy's ass, she stirred.
Peggy lifted her head, grinning at him.
"What?" He asked, squeezing her butt.
"I'm gonna get more ice chips."

Wednesday 100: Opening Hearts
Sometimes he chooses to speak about it. Sometimes he speaks because she asks, because she knows he needs to.
Today, rain outside, hands wrapped around just-right cups of tea, Peggy in one of his cardigans, he speaks about loneliness, Loki, SHIELD, about the Chitauri and everyday heroism, about the people who weren't his friends - not then, not yet.
She hasn't spoken since her gentle prodding earlier, absorbing, gaze steady. But when he quiets, she looks at him, says simply, "Oh, my darling."
(Only later, lying in bed after a shared shower, does she ask, "Steve, what exactly is shawarma?")

Wednesday 100 #2 - Steggy
He comes back to her bent but not broken, disheartened but not jaded, older but miraculously not dead. He’s Grant Stevens now, soon to be Grant Carter if she can manage to convince him that she wants this, wants him—exactly as he is now, not the man he once was.
“I love you,” is what she says every morning before leaving for work, and every evening upon her return. He always says it back.
Then one day, he says something better. “You love me.”
She beams and nods through happy tears. He’s officially a Carter the very next week.

Sugar parents Steve and Peggy in AU being real mean and real smutty....
Warnings: 18+ only (seriously, minors DNI), d/s themes, overstimulation, some bits of degradation, use of toys, filthy language, daddy/mommy kink
You gasped as Peggy pulled the vibrator out of you. Peggy practically purred at the sight of covered in your juices. She slowly slipped it between her lips, sucking off every bit of you that she could and forcing you to watch. Your pussy clenched around nothing at the sight of it.
“How many did I get out of you, darling? Have you been counting like a good girl?” She asked.
“Three,” you whimpered. You were still dripping down your thighs, and every move you made ached. You weren’t sure how long the vibrator had been in you at this point; all you knew was that you were spent. But they had a long night planned for you.
Steve tsked. “That’s not enough, Pegs. I don’t think our girl’s learned her lesson yet.”
Peggy gripped your chin and forced you to look over at Steve, who was sat in his armchair. His pants were down around his ankles, and he had his fist wrapped around his cock. You could see the precum leaking from his tip from where you sat, and you whimpered again.
“I guess it’s daddy’s turn to play with you,” she whispered in your ear. Her fingers danced along your swollen clit, making you jump at the sudden contact. “But first, you know what you need to say.”
“I swear I-”
“Still not listening, are you?” Steve chided as he circled his thumb around his tip. “Our dumb little baby never knows when to quit, huh? Maybe you need to force another out of her.”
The thought of coming again made you cry out. You couldn’t take another, especially when you knew Steve hadn’t gotten his hands on you yet. He was going to be relentless - pulling as many orgasms out of you as he desired because he knew you’d be able to handle it.
You gripped onto Peggy’s arms and pulled her close. She didn’t stop you from nuzzling into the crook of her neck, but you knew buttering her up wasn’t going to work.
“Say the words, love, and I may tell daddy to take it easy on you.”
“I’m an greedy cockslut,” you mewled. “I was impatient and I disrespected you and daddy.”
“How?”
“By flirting with Bucky in front of you and letting him flirt with me back.”
At the mention of Bucky, Steve lost his composure. He crossed the living room in a matter of seconds and pulled you up by the back of your neck. Your legs were already starting to go limp, but he held you up just fine. As if you didn’t weigh anything. The adrenaline from remembering how close Bucky was to you, his little darling, allowed him to do just about anything.
His free hand moved to cup your mound, and he groaned when he felt just how soaked you were in his palm.
“Never forget this pussy is ours, sweetheart,” he hissed.
“I won’t, I won’t forget, daddy. Please.” You silently hoped the presence of crocodile tears was enough to make him soften. “Please, I’m sorry.”
“Oh, I know you’re sorry, but we haven’t forgiven you just yet.”

Steggy: Mail Order Groom
Marriage was not something Margaret “Peggy” Carter ever intended to enter into. For one, she wasn’t suited to being a meek domestic housewife, and two, she hadn’t met a man who would remotely be able to change her mind. Most of them were absolute boors, who didn’t believe women should be allowed to think for themselves or do anything that wasn’t tending to said men’s needs.
She was happy to run her small town all by herself and didn’t care what the gossips and old fashioned idiots said.
But when it came time for re-election as mayor, her shady opponent managed to get the town council to revive an old law that would require her to have a husband in order to run for mayor.
Furious, Peggy nearly took Thompson’s head off, but all her lectures and wrath would not move the town council, several of whom were vocal opponents of a woman in leadership.
Aggravated beyond all reason, Peggy steamed for a while, but finally decided she’d either have to find a trophy husband somehow or give up and let Thompson run the place into the ground.
She made discreet inquiries with an agency that was known for matching mail order spouses for those in need of one. After filling out their questionnaire, she was put into correspondence with one Steven Grant Rogers, a bachelor from New York, who was interested in making a move West, but lacked the funds.
Steven handled her long distance interrogation with patience and honesty, both of which Peggy appreciated in a man.
She explained the reasons for her needing a husband and braced herself to be disillusioned once again, but much to her surprise, Steve’s answering letter expressed outrage toward the town council and offered his full support of her run for re-election.
He sounded much too good to be true, but so far the private investigator the agency used to verify their client’s character had not been able to find any history of fraud with him. He’d been in trouble for assaulting a man before, the charges were dropped because Steve had been defending a young lady’s honor.
“Can he cook, too?” Peggy’s friend Angie asked after Peggy shared the latest letter with her.
“He says he can, albeit nothing fancy. But I don’t need fancy. I need edible.”
Peggy and Angie shared a chuckle over Peggys famous kitchen disasters.
“Well. I’d say snatch him up! You’re not going to find any better husband candidate in time for the election and he’s agreed to your conditions. So if you’re gonna go for it, go for it, Peg.”
And Peggy did. A couple weeks later, she waited at the train station for her prospective groom. She didn’t really know what he’d looked like, beyond his brief description of himself. As the passengers disembarked, Peggy scanned the crowd nervously, wondering which one was Steve.
A tall bearded man approached her, removing his hat to reveal a head of slightly shaggy sandy blonde hair.
“Mayor Carter?” He asked, looking hopefully at her with very attractive blue eyes.
Peggy’s stomach did a flip as she realized just how very handsome he was. Please let this be Steve! begged the voice in her head.
“Yes,” she managed to reply calmly. “Are you Steven Rogers?”
“I am. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, ma’am.”
Steve held out his hand and she returned his firm shake, both seeming to silently be sizing each other up. He was very tall and very broad shouldered and looked sturdy enough to endure the hard work of the West, but his eyes were kind, not hard, and he looked like he smiled a lot.
All in all, it was a very promising picture and Peggy found herself not nearly so opposed to marriage as she had been.
Steve, on the other hand, couldn’t believe his good fortune. He’d already fallen for the strong spirit of the woman he’d been writing to and now seeing her in person, he was almost struck speechless by her. He hoped she would give him the chance to try and win her heart.
“I trust your journey was uneventful?” She asked, as she drove them out to the ranch she owned. Of course, she couldn’t live there herself right now, but it would make a good home once the two of them married.
“It was,” Steve answered. “Unless you call the over loud snoring of my neighbor to be eventful.”
Peggy chuckled. “Well, here you’ll have the whole place to yourself, at least for a little while.”
“You don’t live here?”
“No. Too many headaches for a single woman to live alone out here. I’m rooming in town for now. When we marry, I will move out here with you. I much prefer the space out here.”
“How much time do you have to make a decision on marriage before the election?” Steve asked.
“About three weeks,” Peggy answered. “But I have already made up my mind. I want to give you a chance to get to know this place and see if you could actually endure marriage to me. I tend to scare the men off.”
“I don’t scare easily,” Steve said with a small smile.
Sure enough, he was still there three weeks later and he and Peggy went before the judge to be joined in holy matrimony.
“What a lovely ring!” Peggy admired after it was over.
“It was my mother’s,” Steve explained, looking down at her left hand with a proud expression. “Father had it specially made for her.”
“Oh, Steve. I’m honored,” she said, very touched that he’d given her a family heirloom after such a short time of courtship. “You didn’t have to give me this.”
“I wanted to,” he told her honestly. “My mother would have loved you.”
And I’m pretty sure I’m in love with you. He thought.
Peggy trotted out her new husband at her announcement of running for re-election and the town went wild, except for the sulky town council members, who were forced to accept her entry and very unhappy about it.
It didn’t take long for Steve to win the heart of Peggy and the loyalty of the town.
Thompson was soundly defeated and sulked for a long time.

His smile was sad.
It's one of the first things Peggy noticed about Steve. She'd seen him grieve after losing Barnes, but that was different. This Steve had seen and been through much more, and Peggy was dying to know everything.
And she desperately wanted to keep him.
"I'm not your Steve," he admitted once he had passed her initial interrogation, "and I can't tell you where to find him ..."
"But you are Steve," she said firmly. "If you're going to be technical, I'm not quite the same woman you left behind. We have both changed."
His eyes searched hers and despite all that had changed, the way he made her heart flutter and the joy she felt around him had not. Her love, no matter how hard she had tried to bury it, rushed back at full force. She shouldn't be surprised.
"And is that enough?" he wondered.
"Am I?" she countered.
"Yes," he said immediately. "It's always been you, Peggy. This ... it's all I wanted. For a second chance. To get our dance ... to get ... a life together."
"Then," she said, taking his hand in hers. "That is what we shall have."
She would make sure of it.

Hey!! I have a quick drabble idea for you if you are still open to them <3 I am obsessed with the idea that Wanda and Vision are so infatuated with one another that their kids and the team are just observers to their sweet little love story like not even walking in on them, just maybe seeing a kiss or seeing them hold or gently comfort each other.
IThank you so much for the sweet sweet prompt nonnie! <333 I hope this is somewhat like what you asked for!
Family Matters
Wanda laughed as she tackled her sons onto the soft, carpeted floor of their room, and her two boys giggled aloud. “Mooooom!” they both yelled at the same time.
“What?” Wanda asked innocently, smothering their faces in smooches. Tommy tried to wrestle his way out of her grasp as he laughed harder than his mom and brother, but ended up somehow getting more secured.
“My oh my,” Vision said, walking into the room, “what’s all this about then??”
“Dahahahad!” Billy exclaimed, laughing. “Hehehelp us!!!”
“Tag me, Vis!” Wanda suddenly said, holding her hand out and wrangling Billy back into her grasp with her leg to the best of her ability. Vision laughed aloud, and tagged into the tickle fight. Vision took on Billy, leaving Wanda to handle Tommy.
They loved their kiddos so much, and the boys loved them back even more so.
Wanda wouldn’t not do anything for her family.

“So, this is the Wanda you told me about?”
“It sure is, Pegs.”
Peggy smiled. “She’s a very precious girl... you did good taking her under your wing, Steve.”
“She let me, how could I not have?” Steve smiled up at his wife.
“Personally, I never would’ve thought Vision would’ve made as good of a father as he is,” a new voice said - Tony came into the room, with a bag of popcorn. “But I can’t say I’m surprised...”
“They’re a good match,” Natasha smiled. “I’m really happy for them...”
And that was the mutual feeling as the four souls continued to watch the latest installment of WandaVision, enjoying the couple’s sweet familial bliss.

writing patterns tag game
Rules: post the last sentence from your 10 most recently posted fics (less if you don't have 10 is also fine).
I took advantage of the lovely @theawkwardterrier's open invitation to participate in this tag game because I feel like it pairs well with the first lines one from the other day!
If You Could Read My Mind: He was - he was really home.
A Stutter in Time, Chapter 17: “Steve - are you drunk?”
Sweet Dreams: “Oh yes,” she told him gravely, although her dimples were showing. “I rather think I am.”
Hopelessly Stuck on You: “Well, I guess we just do things the old-fashioned way,” said Steve, with a shrug, and took a sip of his beer.
Until Then (We’ll Have to Muddle Through, Somehow): “I love you too, my darling.”
One Hundred Words to Say "I Love You" (A Collection of Steggy Drabbles): “Lose the film,” he advised the cameraman.
"I’ve Got the Shield. You’ve Got the Sword" (A Collection of PeggyNat Drabbles): “Yes,” Peggy told Tony, “I should be able to track her down for you. Give me an hour.”
Between the Acres of the Rye: “But first,” she told him, peering back at him over her shoulder with an almost gleeful grin, “I’m going to teach you how to hot-wire a jeep.”
Comfort and Joy: The Lost Chapter: After all, Hydra was still out there, and they had a war to win.
Caps Out of the Bag: “Ask me again in the morning, Rogers.”
Hmm, I guess I most often end on a quip of some sort, although sometimes I get more serious, and in one case I used the most stereotypical Steggy romance line ever (although I like to think it was earned after 6 chapters of muddling through). 😂
Tagging @roboticonography, @littlereyofsunlight, @buckywiththegoodhair86, @behindthelabels, @melliabee, and anyone else who wants to do it!
