I'm so happy about Kieran! It's always hard to imagine any one actor as Caesar because they haven't undergone hours in the makeup and costume department yet, so most we can do is watch their previous performances.

But I'm delighted, because it does confirm my long-standing thoughts and ideas on Caesar that a re-cast would have sternly went against—and the fandom was sternly in favour of.

I'm curious what Kieran will bring to the table and what twist he might give the character. My hopes aren't too high on a less bootlicker Caesar as he's simply meaner in this one than the trilogy, but I will happily wait and find out what spin we will get.

That said, holy shit, my friend Lily talked with Nina Jacobson during the filming of TBOSAS and mentioned how she had fancast Kieran Culkin for Caesar so. The influence~

it was kind of random because it wasn’t near a release or anything! they were on my radar because i had started watching kdramas in 2020 and kpop things were showing up in my feeds but they specifically started popping into my insta algorithms in late 2021 (and i can literally blame a jin edit i saw for this) and i thought they were funny so i watched the carpool karaoke and it was pretty much over from there! i was having a hard time then and they kept me company 💞 but music has always been a really important part of my life so it was easy to fall in love

i’ve never seen them as a group, but i was lucky to see yoongi on his dday tour 🥲 hope to see them all one day! my bias is jin!!!!!

hi, of course, i'm always happy to meet fans both new and old in this space 🥰 ooh, that's difficult to pinpoint but i'll narrow it down to three that are very personal for me:

the first time i ever saw them live in japan for the sys tour, it came at a very rough point in life for me and just for that almost 3 hours that day? i found a reason to be happy again, and it made me understand how much they would eventually come to mean to me

going to see bring the soul in cinemas, i went by myself and i remember watching that (i'd get around to the documentary series soon after) and was in awe of their work ethic, passion, dedication, talent and tight knit bond with one another. there were so many lessons to take away from that, and i know i still carry them with me 'til this day

like a lot of people, i had tickets to the mots tour but the pandemic happened and the tour was eventually cancelled and it broke my heart tbh. all i wanted was for an album i love to get its flowers and while we got the mots on:e online shows? it'll never replace the what could've been y'know. so when the ptd in los angeles shows happened, i had to go and my god, it was an emotional time. there is nothing quite like a bts concert, the energy and sense of community is unparalleled

to answer your second question, i do have a bias. it would be this man, and it seems like he'll be the only one i'll ever have, which is fine. i love him but he is lowkey a menace 😂

Some time ago, in a post on my blog, I had shared pro-shot links of the first and second acts of the Korean version of Yeston & Kopit's "Phantom" - promising to do my best to find a better and, possibly, subtitled version.

I thought I had succeeded when a YouTube channel had decided to upload it - but unfortunately the same channel later changed its mind and decided to remove (twice) the video.

After several attempts on different platforms (unfortunately all of which failed, for all sorts of reasons, at the time of publication) I decided to upload the video and its subtitles - of which, just in case, I had downloaded a copy - to Mega.

Unfortunatly I've been forced to close my Mega account, but I managed to find another site where it's possible to watch 'Phantom' with english subs. I'm sorry for all these people who come across this post only to be disappointed finding the previous link broken.

i liked them casually before, but i officially started calling myself an elf on october 4th 2019 (i know because i made a text post announcing it lmao)

i guess black suit era because black suit and one more chance were the first two songs i heard that i actually liked by them

14. A member you’d be friends with?

it's hard to say.. it really depends on which member would even wanna be friends with me. i do think i'd have fun being friends with kyuhyun and inevitably have a crush on him that he would never find out about

the renaissance is almost perfect. if they had just left tell me baby out of it... because i don't like christmas songs and it didn't fit the vibe of the album imo (house party doesn't necessarily fit it either but i can forgive it). sorry sorry is really good too

34. Favorite b-sides?

ticky tocky and burn the floor are tied at number one. i wanna make a gifset of my top ten b-sides like i've done for stray kids and bts, but i want them to have some kind of theme (like for example the bts ones look like a music player). so if anyone has any ideas, let me know haha

80. What albums, photocards, or merch do you own?

i only have kyuhyun's version of the renaissance album and all the stuff that came with it, including a lot of fine ass posters of him 🤤

89. If you ever met SuJu, what would you do or say?

realistically, i would be too nervous to say or do any of this stuff but if i could gather the courage, i would let them know that i and a lot of fans just want them to be happy and date and marry whoever they want. and i'd tell them that a lot of us love all the members, and wish for them to reunite at some point. and then i'd ask to take pictures and hug them lol
