💘 - Is it easier to write angst or fluff

Definitely fluff! My fics are mainly comedy and so those nicer moments come more naturally to me. That isn't to say I don't enjoy angst though. It can be hard to find and find a place for an issue or problem that I think really inspires me to write but when I find that conflict within myself, getting it onto the page is so fun and so satisfying and is usually something I'm really proud of. But I can't just pull it out of nowhere like with comedy and happy moments. It really has to be founded in my real life experiences and things that rile ME up, yknow?

🦈 - What is the hardest character to write

FUCK! uh... It was Shadow, originally! Finding his voice was pretty tough. But now that I've settled into it I think it comes as naturally as most other characters. What is hard, unfortunately, is finding situations to focus on Tails and Amy. Ironic since the two most recent Together episodes are focused on Amy and Tails respectively, but I find that in stories focused around other characters, they show up very often, being important to the core cast of Sonic characters, but in those scenarios, I often find that I don't give them much to do! Which is totally a me problem. I love both of those characters and want them to have as much time to shine as anyone else! Which is WHY I've given them both fully fleshed out and defined stories very recently. And there's more to come for both- Tails in the short term, and Amy in the long term!

This is a fic that has 100% inspired me and the stories that I am going to write in season 2 of Sonic Together. Metal Sonic is injured in a fight with Team Sonic, and Amy brings him home to recover. They grow a bond as Metal adjusts to life outside of being a battle robot. This fic is SO GOOD!!!!

Okay yes this is YOUR fic. But it's so damn good!!! This is the only fic not written by me that I've dubbed! It's amazing! So dramatic and explores Sonic and Shadows relationship in a totally unique and amazing way. So excited for this to continue!

I would also recommend reading shriekinggeek, Mintenby, and eccentricglimpse's fics! They're amazing! I wish I had enough writing stamina to give in depth essays on all fics and writers I've mentioned here. Some absolutely stunning stuff.

eating this tf up omg. the "knowing better" portion makes my heart hurt because it's true, Don uses people with such little consideration ..; but this time its so different bcuz he feels that unusual sense of guilt both as he begins manipulating Bull, and by the end where Bull wakss up and starts strangling him .. he knows better deep down that what he does is wrong yet he continues that behavior

the "twisted pleasure" reminds me of how Don does seem to still get a small kick from how easily malleable everybody becomes beneath his manipulation, but also i think it could apply to Bull (and other victims) feeling that odd sensation of warmth and safety when they begin falling under the manipulation ...

"feeling breathless" omg .. okay i like this both ways . Don feeling breathless from being choked and his breathing becoming shallow is the more literal sense that this can be taken in, but also i like the idea of Bull "feeling breathless" when he's under this spell of sorts. maybe it's a personal thing but when i get overstimulated or im in a tight situation i feel unable to breathe as well; in the state of the maze, Bull is described to cover his ears and hear Don's voice as an overbearing kind of noise. i think that state of panic and overstimulation could leave him with a lack of breath, from both too much going on and the anticipation of escaping that state so he could re-enter the real world

and finally, the "growing cold, will you let me go?" ;; again, i think it can be taken very literally with Don pleading for Bull to understand that he didn't mean what he did, and how he begins to almost lose his grip on consciousness as the strangulation lasts longer .. but also i think it can be taken in the context of their feelings. any remaining warmth or forgiveness Bull could have held for Don has now faded into nothing, warmth going cold. and the "will you let me go?" in a questioning tone could be from Don's perspective, questioning two things; will Bull not turn back and save him from his vulnerable state ? and will Bull ever find it in himself to forgive Don for his actions, therefore "letting go" of the hate he has for him?

OMG Ikr?? There is not enough jealous Tyler content out there 😭😭😭 what little I have seen of it is so good too.. and it doesn’t feel ooc at all for him in my opinion. Like just because we all know he thinks he is hot shit, doesn’t mean that he can’t get jealous as well. I don’t think he’s particularly worried that someone will just come along and sweep the narrator off his feet and take him away from him one day since he can at least tell that the narrator is pretty obsessed with him (which is such a understatement) but he does get worried when he feels like something is just ‘different’ compared to how the narrator is with most of his other ‘little friends’. He is always wrong bc the narrator is ride or die for him ofc.. ANYWAYS HERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS

•What probably starts making him feel suspicious is if they give the narrator things, if the narrator talks about them more than Tyler thinks is appropriate, if he talks about them too fondly, if they make a plan to hang out one night and Tyler doesn’t get invited, and stuff like that. He doesn’t particularly mind if the narrator has a few pals like Bob and whatever especially if he has met them and knows their ‘deal’. It’s just if the narrator seems a little too happy while talking about them is when Tyler can get a little irked.

•He will say shit like “Well have fun with your boyfriend” if the narrator says he’s going out for a bit to hang out with someone. If he’s dating the narrator, he will say ‘new boyfriend’ instead of just boyfriend and he will say it in a tone where he sounds ‘done’. If it’s before they date then he might say it a bit more in a way where the narrator thinks he’s just teasing him. He means both with annoyance though. He genuinely doesn’t know why the narrator would rather be anywhere else in the world when he is there to keep him company.

•A lot of questions will go through his mind about the person he finds himself jealous of. He’s so confused about what the narrator is seeing or getting that he doesn’t get from him. He will analyze the person silently if they are in the same room. He will take note of what the narrator smiles about when talking with them, if they give each other little touches, if the narrator is telling the person things even Tyler didn’t know about beforehand, and etc. Tyler is questioning how is this person any better & what could he be ‘missing’.

•I said this earlier too but he just acts like it’s all fine in the moment if he’s with them. He just smiles but the narrator can see something is off in it or in his eyes. If he doesn’t know that Tyler can be jealous, he might just ignore it tbh and keep carrying on as usual and just will think to ask if something was wrong later. (Which earns him silence, a punch, or vague/snarky and or mean comments.) The narrator would assume that jealously isn’t something Tyler can feel. The way he views him, Tyler is too godlike to worry about ‘childish things’ or to compare himself to others but he’s wrronnngg :3

•If they are dating Tyler is much more mean and stand-offish about what happened. He’ll ignore him or brush him off. He expects the narrator to know what to apologize for. He thinks there is no way in hell the narrator doesn’t know what he’s angry about :/

If they aren’t together he’s still stand-offish but not as much but the narrator can just feel the tension even during normal conversations.

•If someone (that wasn’t a family member) got the narrator something as a gift, he sooo thinks about tossing it out or breaking it. He can pass it off as a ‘don’t bring new things into my house without telling me’ type of thing but he just doesn’t want a reminder someone might be trying to ‘woo’ the narrator. Until he feels comfortable enough to break whatever it is, he will glare at it or make mean comments about it. Like in my mind im picturing a plushie or some small item that doesn’t actually serve anything useful.

He might be a litttleeee nice though and not actually break or throw away whatever it is and just actually hide it somewhere and just say he did. He wants to see his reaction and if they manage to talk it out, he will set it out for the narrator to find later on.

i’ve had so many fic ideas where the reader is honestly just jealous because of a lot of the attention joel gets being the neighborhood dilf and all. it’s not like she doesn’t trust him, it’s just upsetting to see people gawk and thirst over your man even when they know he’s taken!! (especially because joel is particularly bad at being able to tell when people are flirting with him) anyway i wanted to switch things up a little. get some jealous/possessive joel action 🤭

so basically one of her friends from college/wine night is having a pool party and you’re like excited to have fun and catch up but also not excited to have a bunch of people in swim attire flirt with your man in front of you. so you go to the party, of course ppl start flirting, so you go off to sit by the pool.

lo and behold who shows up other than your college fwb??? he came in to town to visit some family and it just so happened that his trip overlapped with this party! so he’s flirting with you and stuff and you’re kinda annoyed with joel getting flirted with all the time so maybeee you flirt back a little and let yourself be flirted with.

joel eventually notices and he is not pleased like. at all. arguments ensue. you tell him you hate how he always writes you off when you tell him people are flirting with him. he tells you it was inappropriate for you to let someone you were actually hooking up with flirt with you when you’re in a committed relationship. it’s messy. will you two reconcile?? who knows. what we do know is that you both have issues that desperately need to be unpacked 😳

I’ve been on Tumblr for half a year now, (Thanks to my best friend🩷) and the community is amazing! I’ve always been too scared to post or interact with people, but I want to start making friends and building a community of my own.

What will I post?

I’ve always had a nack for writing and creative stories, that’s why I want to write fan fiction so much, combining two things I love, writing and imagination! Taking a TV show or a game and making it a world that exists and heals people, giving them happiness reading about their favourite characters and feeling a connection with them! Guitar! 🎸

I’m currently learning how to play guitar, my friend is generously giving me free lessons, she’s also let me borrow her acoustic and electric guitar! I 100% prefer electric and want one of my own, I currently know TWO MITSKI songs that I learnt within my first lesson, in 4 hours. I’ve always wanted to learn to play but it looked so hard and I doubted myself, but once I gave it a go I realised I just have to try and keep going, and that beginning lesson was what I needed to jump start this hobby! :) 🎀 ———————— 🎀

Acting! 🎭

I’ve always loved acting, when I was 13 I used to do a lot of roleplay online, it’s not acting but it made me realise that I actually have an interest in that kind of stuff! I’m currently doing a Performing Arts course in college, which is going so well! I’m in the highest level and I got the lead in the Christmas musical! Sadly I had to give the role to someone else because I had too much course work to be able to learn the script in time, but it made me so happy knowing my skills were good enough and that I wasn’t wasting my time! Maybe I’ll get a job working on a movie and Joe Keery will be my characters love interest🤭! A girl can dream, right? 🤷‍♀️

Sirius glanced up with watery eyes. “It’s fine, I’m just being dramatic.” Tears were on the verge of falling so he looked back down at his hands, bunching them into fists.

Remus swallowed with guilt. “It wasn’t okay. Sirius, I said some awful stuff. You’re allowed to be mad at me.”

“Remus, stop. It’s fine, I’m overreacting.” Sirius’ hands were clenched so tight it had to hurt now and all Remus wanted to do was smooth them between his own. “I deserved it anyway.”

“No. No, Sirius, look at me.” This was exactly what he was afraid of happening. “They don’t cancel out. You fucked up, yes, but so did I. You were scared of me.” Sirius opened his mouth to protest as if the image of his deadened eyes didn’t haunt Remus’ mind. “Don’t deny it. You didn’t deserve that, not from me and not from your parents. I never want to remind you of them and I’m so sorry I did.”

Sirius was quiet for a long moment but his hands eventually relaxed. “Alright,” he whispered, “Thank you.”

in early stages when i made him, orange was pretty chameleon-esque, changing his fashion and personality to fit any situation, not getting attached to anyone or anything. also super flirty and horny bc why the hell not, i can make any ocs i want

he didn't get a ton of development until starting around? august 2020? when i started writing him w friends more, shipping him w friend's ocs and everything, figuring out his tragic backstory™️ and all that

he has 2 'main' bfs, strawberry and uno, both made by my friend @masterwizardsylthfarn

strawbs and uno respectively. strawberry is a very unethical bunny boy doctor and uno is a once-dead-but-now-not-really-dead-mostly assassin. basically he died once, but he's fine now. don't worry about it. (uno is also the older sibling of my oc two, bc we thought it'd be funny)

their rships started as p much fuckbuddies with orange, and development and feelings happened between each other and eventually all 3 of them

since being with them, orange's personality and perception of himself have solidified a lot. he used to be really fluid in identity, expression, attitude, everything, but he's gotten a lot more comfortable and almost kinda sorta settled down with them, even if he still has emotional blocks and can't say the love word

i also have ships with orange w my friend nova's ocs hayato and pierrot, with my own ocs including peach, venus (both of those rships being in the past for them), basically any other members of fruit salad since they almost all mess around w each other tbh, and i have uhhh multiple aus w orange with different ships and stuff with friends

overall hes been infecting my brain for a couple years and has grown a lot and i love this terrible troubled man

he's also the first character i wrote full out porn for so that's a thing i could share too– 👀
