JAN 02, 2019 / happy new year everyone!! i hope everyone is having a relaxing holiday, whether around loved ones or enjoying your own solitude. i’m increasingly aware that my lil group of friends know me so well, as they’ve gifted me wonderful things this year; it is always nice to know certain items remind people of you. i haven’t made any concrete resolutions this year, just reflecting on how much i’ve grown and appreciative/grateful for it. :~)

Today is a great day!

My Hobonichi Techo Weeks Mega (whew that's a mouthful) is here! I usually am pretty conservative about spending money and I got this for myself as a present, despite the steep price. I'm happy regardless~

I’ve been dead for a couple of weeks D: First i was super busy with school then i was sick and now i’m pretty busy again but i found some time to work on my tumblr stuff :) Anyways i went shopping this weekend and bought a couple of lush products and got to taste some white rabbit candy. DEC 9, 2018 / a glimpse into a lazy sunday. the semester is winding down and although i’ve had finals much more stressful than the ones i have now, i’m still feeling a little overwhelmed and restless. the holiday anticipation is building up & i guess i’m getting ready for all the busyness that ensues! i completed my old journal a few days ago and have started this new one (the pink shinola!) and i got this adorable/silly birthday card for a friend yesterday. i hope everyone is taking caring of themselves & doing well :~)!!

visited the rijksmuseum last week and i’m in LOVE with the library!! it was so so beautiful ugh, if i’m ever going to study in amsterdam it would be the perfect place to spend the day (featuring one of my classmates in the 2nd pic :-))

Day 1/100

Started the 100 days of productivity again to help get me through my second to last term of school. I’ll need it for this term because it will be jam packed with revision for English, math, PE, biology, chemistry and physics in preparation for my mock exams 👩🏻‍🎓📓📚 Right now I’m trying (key word is *trying*) to write a critical analysis report for English where I have to apply a literary theory to a chosen text of mine and analyse it. it’s due in a week but I still haven’t read my book!! I need to learn how to stop leaving things to the last minute ha ha ha …..

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a sociology student. I was looking through the resources of many studyblr blogs and I was shocked to notice that there were few if any sociology masterposts. It is a subject often overlooked compared to academic subjects such as maths, english, languages and science. Regardless, sociology is a significant subject and so I’ve compiled a list of sites and resources that I have found helpful when studying the subject.

bbc bitesize ^ = This is for GCSE, but still has notes on A-Level topics, just brief.

Really happy that I finally finished rewriting my math notes and finally had some time to revise all the important subjects over the long weekend😁 It feels really good to catch up with some subjects I had problem understanding. And I'm actually feeling really positive right now, probably the most positive since starting 4th semester lol. I just hope it stays through the whole week😂 How's your weekend guys??🌸

SEPT 6, 2018 / it’s september now so i suppose it’s a good time to post regularly!!! got through my first week of school - this morning i lounged around with a cup of tea since my thursdays are mainly free except for an evening class. hope everyone is enjoying a new beginning, one way or another :~)
