So I was asked if my little guys were based on Suits: A Business RPG and my honest reaction was ????????. Although I really shouldn't be that surprised that someone else independently came up with a "stick figure but more real and in a suit" character design before me. Playing was a very interesting experience but I loved it.
Anyway, there are a few relatively minor differences between Suits and my pet breed (visually. I'm not getting into the lore). I'd joke about the uncanny valley but there are quite a few fucked up interspecific variations on both sides as is, so I doubt that would occur. Neither party would feel at home in the other's world because both are pretty awful. But I guess just having an inexplicable interdimensional meeting in my head once would go fine.
See the two interactions separately under the cut.

Are the Lisa games the only RPG maker games with good combat?
Because out of the RPG maker games I've played that seems to be the case. I think turn based combat is hard to make engaging in most cases but I know RPG maker is especially limiting. Lisa the Painful/Joyful are the only ones I've played that seem to really push what you can do with it like with the combo system of certain characters including Brad, Buddy's timed attack, the interesting balancing and pros/cons of each party member ect. It feels like there's actually some strategizing you need to do, especially on Pain mode. Most other RPG maker games just seem to be spamming the best attack.
I feel like it's important to note that I've never played Omori which I'd say is probably the only other RPG maker game to reach the same level of success as Lisa and I wouldn't be surprised if it also is one of the only exceptions in having actually good combat for an RPG maker game. And while Undertale and Deltarune are a similar type of game, they were made in Game Maker I believe and definitely not RPG Maker which is why those games are so much more unique and ambitious.
For reference the RPG maker games I've played are the Lisa trilogy, Hylics, Off, Suits, Space Funeral, Oneshot and Yume Nikki. (those last 2 don't have combat)
