Tiger!Cub Yuji in his big brother Tiger!Hybrid Suku-nii ’s lap, all sobby and snotty as he complains of his ongoing teething process.

The little Tiger!Cub Yuji had been found by his aniki on the kitchen floor, whines spilling out his tiny babbling mouth out of discomfort when Sukuna comes to check up on him.

Big brother Sukuna wasn't the type to hoist a little cub up on his hip and coo to lul him quite, instead just propping him up on his feet by his underarms so his little yuji stands in front of him instead. The action reduces the cub's sobbing into sniffling, as he peeps up at Suku-nii with big watery golden-brown eyes.

Sukuna bends his knees to come closer to his tiny brother's height, inspecting while pulling his cheek “Huh, what is it little snot?”

“...hurts” Yuji pouts, water brimming the brink of his doey eyes again when he projects baby arms towards his big brother, making grabby hands. “Chuku-nii... uwp” his pout too big for a more coherent sound.

Now—Tiger!Hybrid Sukuna knows he's a tough man, but he would rather die than not scoop his little brother Yuji who pleads his comfort so purely, which he does a moment and a sigh later. Sukuna saunters to the couch, bothered Yuji clutched to his side.

“Where does it hurt,” the little cub now seated in his lap, Sukuna wipes the tear streams off his little brother's fluffy-soft fat cheeks “tell me brat?” his tone softer than his words.

“Aa!!” Yuji opens his tiny mouth, an acusatory finger pointed towards his small buccal cavity. The bigger feline hums, taking the smaller one's face in his palms—thumbs pushing on the cheeks to pry open his mouth wider. Little pointy canines could be seen halfway out into joining the cub's set of teeth.

Sukuna frowns, gently pressing on one of the cub's canines causing Yuji to flinch away with an angry whine. The elder hums again in confirmation, cupping Yuji's sulky face and dragging it closer. He's teething—Sukuna concludes. The elder bounces his seated tiny body on his knees for distraction.

He brings a finger near the younger's mouth, pushing it slowly on the cub's lips for him to take. “We will get some toys for your sore jaw, 'dori.” he grins watching his troubled little Yuji who depends on him so much.

Tiger!Cub Yuji nibbles on his Aniki's finger, leaving small tents of his canines and droll on the skin. His tiny palm forgetting to loosen the grip to his Suku-nii's shirt.

Sukuna might have a hunch or so for why his little brother has gotten more attached to him rather than their any other relative or friend—who comprehensibly wanted Yuji's attention more than him,, but he never really understood.

Whatever the case... he has already grown affectionate to the stinkingly adorable and clingy brat in his lap for life is what he knows.

Who says your words? Whose lips move when you speak? Who are you?

Sukuna’s markings hurt your pretty face as they appear. It’s a familiar pain now, one that claims a promise of something more. Lines across your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. It’s as if he’s leaving kisses. 

Look into the mirror. Who do you see?

He’s pleased. Kneel, doll. 

Down on your knees you await further burn. It trickles down your neck along with your tears, it caresses down your shoulders, it flows down your chest. Stings like hellish love.

Hii anon! Sorry for a very, very late answer. I've been busy as hell and just chose to put this ask in the drafts and then forgot about writing out my answer.

I've already replied to one similar ask some time ago but since you're asking for my opinion and for them to be long, the list that I have in my head with my colorful commentary is under the cut. Hopefully, you'll find some of them as interesting as I did.

The Tale of the Peach Blossom Prince by ChumbalieWumbus

First fic I ever read for sukuita. Let's just say it blew me away with its attention to detail and worldbuilding. This fic isn't strictly just sukuita though, it's rather a sukumeji? (there's a polyamorous relationship between Sukuna, Uraume and Yuuji) fic. It's understandable to skip this if you're looking for strictly sukuita fics but I do suggest you give this a try since it's rather long and quite well done. As a Yuuji fan, I adore it personally. This fic also has some gorgeous fanart too! (Which I will unfortunately not link because it's featured at the end of the story and it will spoil major things regarding it). Now, my comments aside, short summary is: The Culling Games are happening. Yuuji fights someone (not Sukuna btw) and ends up traveling back in time to the Heian period. Chaos ensues.

All in all, I had a blast reading it and I recommend it heavily.

Ten Years and a Day series by EvilPeaches

This isn't really a chaptered fic but is a series of two fics sitting at 21k words so ofc I'll feature it here. It's the written out what if Sukuna wins? scenario where Yuuji remains alive which is a type of fic I had been hunting for at the beginning when I grew to love these two and this checked off all the boxes for me. It was practically wish fulfillment. Genuinely beautiful and harrowing and quite in character too which is a must for me.

I am a sucker for canon (and canon divergence) fics but if that's not what you're looking for then I highly recommend checking out No Eviction Notice by the same author too, which is a long AU and heavy on the plot (angsty as hell too, so beware).

Istrouma by trashygivency

An ongoing work but trust me it is so worth it. Like I said, I'm a sucker for canon and this fic delivers, especially because its set during the Culling Games arc, where the sukuita divorce is in place. Well, things take a turn and Sukuna and Yuuji magically reunite and walk through memories together. One thing leads to another and trust me, it's wild. It's a reincarnation AU and oh my god they were roommates past lovers with good characterization and a plot which centers on their forgotten then remembered past. My commentary can't do this fic justice so please check it out!

Blood & Snow by megumiblues

A breath of fresh air amidst the tragically-depraved (is that a word? lol) works I had been (and usually am) consuming of these two. If you're not that into tragedy, don't want them to ruin each other and tear at each other or don't want their love and union to have catastrophic or deadly consequences, this is your fic. It's still them in all their glory (yknow hate, Sukuna being a bastard, etc.) but surprisingly soft and beautiful. All I'm going to say is that the author did a good job at this AU, both with the plot and Sukuna and Yuuji's characterization. It actually made me shed a tear too so that's a big, big thumbs up for me.

Speaking of long-written soft sukuita...

I'm Sick Of You by Cogni_Diss

also makes the list! It's five chapters long and is also quite tame. It's funny, a bit sad but also quite beautiful. I adore this author and their take on these two idiots so make sure to check out their other works as well. As for the summary: This is a canon divergence fic and with each finger Yuuji swallows, Sukuna grows stronger but here swallowing something ancient has consequences unlike in canon. It's tooth-rotting fluff (with some angst, nothing severe tho) and these two terribly in-canon. Check! it! out! if you want a remedy to the heavy and hard ride these two can be.

Ok, now back to the dark side.

Collision by Serkerde

A genuinely, unfortunately ongoing but extremely interesting A/B/O AU fic where Sukuna is, put plainly, himself (a dick) and an Alpha. Slowest of burns with sukuita is a weird idea in an AU where everything seems to be driven by instinct. Or is that the case? Yuuji (and the modern world) would disagree. Basically: you have an Alpha who is one of a kind (called a Prime) and Yuuji who belongs to the dwindling numbers of Omega. Not your average ones ofc. A very heavy plot ensues with them slowly, slowly, veeery slowly falling for each other. The author has their own twist on the A/B/O Universe which is why this fic is an interesting recipe from the start. Throw in these two and you already have a divine meal cooking.

Also highly recommend checking out Should Immortality Be So Mortal and In Our Flesh series by the same author! I hold SIBSM and IOF series close to my chest because I adore how this author writes these two. <3

The Shape Of Our Souls by O_ToJoy

Another breathtaking (also ongoing fml but don't let that stop you), heavy on the plot with an interesting premise A/B/O AU story. It deals with the future and follows a non-linear narrative. Yuuji is an Omega who has kids with Alpha Sukuna and guess what? The merger happens in this fic. Trust me this fic is gorgeous and a blast. Everything is handled incredibly and passionately and I can't put into words how obsessed I was with this fic when I first found it (which was a couple of months ago). I still love it and have it in my 'read for later' for updates. The characterization (of all, not just Sukuna and Yuuji), the world-building, the plot... It's incredible truly.

Apotheosis series by cafedelmar

I love authors who vibe and just write, trying to unwind and explain the unexplainable and unattainable. Taking characters into their own hands and just going with the flow. Sukuna is a God in this series, the fics follow a non-linear narrative and are slightly AU-ish. It's all vibes basically but it's brilliantly written, heavily centered around Sukuna being something larger than what we've seen of him in canon. I love love love authors who can put the unexplainable into very clear-cut explainable and this author does it extremely well. Yuuji is Sukuna's vessel and this series is riding the Dark!Yuuji vibe (which is also one of my fav ideas) because sure, power is addicting itself and having a God entertain an idea of giving it to a weak-in-comparison Yuuji (Yuuji the key point here) is a whole another addicting thing in itself. All in all, heavy Season 1 vibes and gorgeously written.

And since I'm talking about S1 vibes...

Nuns with Guns by surverycorpsjean

is also a recommended read for those who find the one body/two souls situation so very interesting. This one is hauntingly beautiful and extremely well-written. It's not a chaptered fic but it is nearly 20k words long so it made it on the list. I was on a hunt for fics which explored this situation down to its ugly, twisted, terrifyingly beautiful core (because canon gave us nothing :( ) and this one blew me away, especially with it's characterization. Definitely check this one out if you're stuck on S1 sukuita and their weird ass hatred which could translate into codependency and not death because why would they be normal about each other lol. That's boring.

vinegar heart by vavavavoom

Yuuji, cursed from birth, is made for Sukuna, yet unlike in canon, acceptance is the path he is forced to walk on here, until he grows to love it and hate it because this is an AU! Selfishness, cruelty, codependency and sukuita with Yuuji who is suffering (it is what it is style) and Sukuna who's obsessed with him (basically canon lol). What more could you ask for? Joking aside, this fic takes place in an AU and has God Sukuna who... I shouldn't spoil it. Let's just say that Sukuna isn't the same Sukuna we see in canon. He's much more accepting of Yuuji here, even though he mocks him and belittles him and everything. I mean the tag "Possessive Behavior" is right there so... yeah. The reason why I held my hand from writing out the spoiler is bc 1) it'll ruin your experience and 2) it adds an interesting undertone to the story and basically makes you go "Ohhhh". Check it out!

Interesting as hell and definitely one of the extremes ones. Beautifully written as well. I started it like two months ago but then dropped it because I was busy and it had been sitting in my notes app for quite some time until I caught up to it recently. As you may have noticed, I am down bad for codependency, but I am also down bad for seeing how bad things could get. Sukuita, in all its glory, is problematic as hell, but if you throw them into an Modern AU, make Sukuna a cannibalist + suspected? serial killer and have Yuuji as his nephew who's lowkey growing obsessed with his mystery and is also a mystery himself- I'm going to shut up now because I will spoil the plot- you get this hell. It has 9 chapters, and the plot moves a bit slow but if you're intrigued, then definitely give it a read and ofc, if you are overwhelmed with this fic or just don't like it, feel free to skip.

Aconitum by AttackRabbit

Another ongoing fic which I recently got addicted to. Again, it's ABO AU but not overtly typical one, and heavy on the plot and world-building. Can you imagine that the author had actually invented a language for Sukuna? Yes! It's that amazing. In this fic, Yuuji is a war veteran who works as an apothecary and he stumbles onto injured Sukuna. Brilliant characterization, a unique plot and if you don't read and translate Sukuna's sentences, he's basically half-a-mystery. Much love to this fic because it is incredible!

And that's for the list! A big shout-out goes to Character Assassination by MayTheSixth which I also started reading a couple of days ago, but because it's quite a long work, I never got around to finishing it. It's also an ongoing one, but I'm loving it so far so you can check that out too!

NOT a sukuita fic but hey. Gojo and Sukuna's fight is interrupted by Yuuji bringing up an old binding vow between the 2, and Sukuna is more than happy to oblige his ex-vessel. More on the crack side, it always makes me smile!

Slippery When Wet by skullfilaments

Yuuji just wanted to enjoy his time in the bathhouse but he gets more than what he bargained for when he ends up alone with a hot stranger. In this AU, human and curse societies have merged a while ago and although it's not the focus of the story I hope the author will expend on it one day.

For the fic itself, the chemistry between the 2 is so good they're literally insane about each other. I like the way the author writes the attraction between them.

Some of the numbers have changed now because I've actually taken 56 off the list—I finished writing it yesterday. I'd saved the old version though, so I'll mention the titles/premises here to avoid confusion. For future reference too, what with how those numbers really ain't stable.

5. the coyotes cry (and the sirens pass and harmonize): Canon divergence AU in which Yuuji ate the first finger as a child, has a largely amicable relationship with Sukuna, and then canon happens.

Tbf, this is a fairly fluffy idea from my end too—it's also kind of on the chopping block because aside from Yuuji treating Sukuna like an irritating sibling / unruly pet stuck in his head (while Gojou radiates horny at him), it doesn't have much going for it. It was, as evidenced by the number, one of my oldest ideas, and both my interest in and understanding of Sukuna and Yuuji's relationship have grown a lot since then, which means my sukuita (platonic or not) tastes have changed accordingly.

12. this is a very old story (there is no other version of this story): No-Shibuya AU Yuuji’s execution actually does happen despite Gojou’s best efforts. It’s a tragedy only until Gojou gets haunted; then it’s erotic horror.

18. my love will fall with grace: Gojou physically deages but mentally stays the same, and he lasts barely a day before going “but Yuuuuuji, I miss you,” which would be cute if he weren’t talking about Yuuji’s dick. It turns out that sex restores his age a couple of years at a time.

My brain is feeling extremely flattered, thank you 🥰

50. i love the violence between your thighs: During the basement era, Yuuji runs into curse users who hit him with a drug/CT that wrecks his emotional and physical control. Gojou comes up with innovative ways to get it out of his system, while Nanami tries and mostly fails to do damage control, instead playing voyeur to a frantic sex marathon.

I do confess that Nanami is my favorite choice of unwilling and deeply distressed voyeur to goyuu fucking nasty—though Megumi is a close second. And poor Nanami really does suffer a lot here, given that Yuuji's essentially sex-pollened and Gojou is...enjoying that a little too much. Blood and teeth and all.

56. you left me bleeding in the garden of eden: The fifteen-year-old boy whom Gojou ties to the chair in the isolation chamber isn’t the scarred calamity who wakes up.

The one I finished! It's a oneshot, just 8.4k. Would you believe me if I say that this is a couple of thousand words of fighting and then a long conversation grounded in some ✨ angst ✨? Borderline wholesome and not at all holesome. Gojou does get wrecked though—emotionally. He is undergoing the mortifying ordeal of being known and also loved very deeply.

58. wield her, use and yield her: The years after puberty is particularly volatile for female alphas, both physically and mentally, owing to secondary genital development. Gojou volunteers his mouth to ease his new favorite student’s distress.

Agreed 🤝 I rarely see it, though it's also not something likely to pop up in my sub-fandoms since I mostly read slash fanfic. And genderbending fics rarely take the female alpha route, in my experience, and when it is there, it's often not the flavor I want. So I shall write it! Plus, alpha x alpha of the fem x masc flavor will be very new territory for me, and that's always fun.

68. saints just swimming in our sins again: Canonverse no-Shibuya AU with established goyuu and nanaita where Nanami gets deaged, Yuuji tries to keep his hands to himself, and Gojou works very hard to make sure teen!Nanami gets some TLC.

Given Gojou is...who he is, I'd vote for "fucking with Nanami," but hey, they can both be true!

75. i am granting you more than the debt that i owe: Fantasy monarchy AU, where twin brothers Sukuna and Yuuji duke it out for the throne, with unexpected results. Meanwhile, the reigning king of one of their enemy nations falls prey to his own courtiers’ machinations.

76. nails on my neck, you should mark me with a red letter: Mundane AU where Sukuna keeps cockblocking Yuuji and Gojou, forcing Yuuji to adopt drastic measures. Or, Yuuji straps his brother to a fucking machine so that he can have sex with Gojou in peace.

This delights me beyond measure. I'm breaking out my best supervillain cackle as we speak. For real though, sukuita is an excellent ship to be feral and violent toward, and it's an honor to know that my take on it presses that little button in your brain! I've said this before at some point—probably many points—but sukuita as a ship doesn't work for me unless they're both utterly unhinged and violent toward each other, even in scenarios where there's genuine affection in the mix. And that's how I end up with half a dozen twins-who-fuck-and-give-everyone*-around-them-secondhand-trauma AUs for these two. *Except Gojou, who just ends up hornier about it

The Yuuji/Yuutajou ideas were very much the result of *gestures vaguely at the final arc* You know. That. I promise Yuuji will have a good time with minimal trauma in one of them. The other...less so.

"Love, or Something Ignites" might just be the best goyuu fic ever!!! let me explain!!! (Thoughts and Review)

Some quick context but cuz this review was already going to be pretty long without my flashback sequence so pls scroll down to the red text if you don't want to hear my history of opinions with JJK and its ships.

I've been deep in the goyuu tag since the beginning of the year, which I found kind of strange at first since I watched S1 way back in 2022 and did not give much of af about the whole show.

I kicked my feet a bit at SukuFushi,  tried to like it more, and even searched out a couple of fics but they just weren't giving AT ALL.

At the start of 2023 I watched jjk 0 and I was kinda hyped to get back into the show, but my shipping heart still ached for something to latch onto so I went on AO3 and picked up the first fic I found. Surprise, surprise, it was a goyuu fic featuring role reversal. I wouldn't say I liked it but it did tickle something in my brain I would have explored if I wasn't neck deep in my bakudeku era at the time.

Then S2 happened and it all just sorta clicked for me. Before then I'd mainly been a SukuIta believer, I didn't frequent their fics but I DID gobble up their twincest doujins like I was starved when I had the time. 2nd cour of S2 coming out practically sealed Goyuu for me, I'd always felt there was a bit of something I saw between them but Yuuji screaming out for Gojo in that last frame...just...*chef's kiss*

I didn't go back to rewatch S1 where a majority of their reactions were like some diehard fans would but the clips and screencaps I've come across now and again are enough to solidify for me that yes! They are made for each other!! (Hope the wrong stsg fans don't find this ◉‿◉)

I'd really love to go on and on about their dynamic but this was supposed to be about my February fic of the month, "Love, or Something Ignites" by lainebee.

Like I said, I've been deep in the tags and the only others I think that come close to this one are "No Sanctuary" by eddie01 and both world's sequels.

Now I'm not saying there aren't other good ones, like I'm just halfway through the hundred and something AO3 pages of their ship tag, so there's a lot I've yet to see. Still, this is a sorta subjective review and I just hope to spread the word of this masterpiece and maybe meet others who've read it so we can fan together in the comments.

(Now that's all out of the way, there will be mild spoilers and also warnings for; omegaverse, mpreg, and voyeurism so let's hop to it (✿^‿^)

The fic is set in a historical Japan au where Yuuji and Sukuna are brothers, with Sukuna being much older and ruling over a kingdom in the south. Thing is, he's constantly at war with the Gojo clan cuz these two mfs are just built like that in every verse. Shit happens and they come to a truce and as a sign of goodwill Sukuna offers Yuuji, his recently presented omega brother, as a gift (I honestly thought Yuuji was like 16 or 17 but he's 19 so like whatever idc (╥﹏╥)

"So what's the problem?" you might ask, well aside from the obvious marriage of convenience plot, Gojo doesn't give a fuck, he's still hung up on Geto (kinda tho, it's complicated but they aren't in love) and he's pretty much intended to go through it for show.

But that's not the end; not only do our boys have no feelings for each other and have never even met, but THING IS... Sukuna has demanded a public consummation cuz he's a bastard like that and we love him for it. Worry not there's no fucking on a stage for everyone to watch...just fucking in a 'room' for a handful of witnesses to watch from behind those dresser screen things (vocab not working lol).

The fic is definitely kinda long and tho there are some slow-burn vibes a lot of it essentially takes place in ONE FUCKING DAY. My first assumptions going into this were, "pacing issues???" and "oh the author is going to either insta love them, make them fuck and spend the rest of the fic doing fluff, or they will fuck with some angst then spend the rest falling in love."

Color me surprised when yeah, they did fuck but that was one or two chapters from the last of about nine.

You expect this kind of shit to feel rushed as fuck but the writing is so fucking divine that you never feel like putting it down. There's always so much going on but time is never wasted dwelling on one subject for too long, it's fast, it's funny, and the characters and setting are constantly giving the energy you know and love from the original show but probably two times better.

One of the things I noticed a few GoYuu writers struggle with is accurately reflecting Gojo cuz he's actually an enigma and arguably one of the most complex characters in the show with a broad range of emotions. He doesn't particularly fit one kind of vibe whereas for everyone else you can pick one or something close to it. Gojo on the other hand goes from one end of the spectrum to the other pretty quickly and that's super hard to capture and explore, especially when it comes to the shorter smutty fics (Not complaining too much tho, I live for the E rating.)

I love the direction the author chose to go with him, and it feels so true to his character, his immature but his teasing doesn't feel over the top or come off as exaggerated. His status as the strongest is just told but shown to us with the way he behaves and I like that we get instances of him getting work done despite knowing he's a rebel. It reminds us that yeah, he's working to make the clan the way he wants but he's just going along with what he has to in true Gojo fashion.

Yuuji, is totally something else, it's implied that he actually killed people...and I don't think we got a paragraph of him feeling guilt over it but that's somewhere toward the end so forget it. Yuuji is the absolute sweetest here and I adore every scene he's in along with how bratty he tends to be with Gojo. It's not frequent and most of the time he's pretty respectful but when he's not...Yeah. His inner thoughts and his conversations with most of the other characters really bring life to the story and you literally feel you're right there with him through it all.

Then there's the smut...oh. my. fucking. GOD. It's absolutely delicious. If you were iffy about it being omegaverse, I beg you to actually consider it cuz all probably more than four thousand words of it are fucking precious.

I had no idea I'd be into sex with some commentary when I began reading but the conversation from the characters picked was spot on and even added to the spicyness.

My favorite part is when Yuuji moans like a fucking pornstar and the zenin guy (forgot his disgusting ass name) goes "The boy is a whore."

Like boohoo bitch just say you wish you were getting all that, I wish I was (╥﹏╥)

If you're still iffy about the Omegaverse trust me it's not that big of a deal, the focus is mainly on Gojo and Yuuji trying to find some mutual ground to get on so the consummation isn't fucking awkward but by talking, joking, and getting to know each other something even more starts to blossom.

There are definitely traces of insta love but I personally see it as a weird mixture of attraction and possessiveness but this book is just like the prelude to the main course which is the second part in the series which I'm not done with yet but fucking hell...all the intrigue and tension that you will find in Love, or Something Ignites, gets doubled with more angst and mystery in the second fic, along with goyuu being stupid as well as stupidly in love.

So give it a try, and if you have, let me know what you think. I'd usually say where the tiny flaws are but for this book there are none...unless you count Yuta being Maki's mate instead of Rika's but that's my personal hill to die on. Little Yuji and big brother Sukuna

Thinking about little Yuji in his Chuku-nii's lap eating a popsicle as his big brother wipes his messy mouth with a caring frown.

Little Yuji is too good to be scolded, always being polite when he points at the icecream shop with big golden-brown eyes looking up at him “Pwes, pwes, Chuku-nii” the highschooler can barely resist the tiny tot's wishes. Although he is a little clumsy with his tiny fingers, struggling to hold the dripping ice and getting some on his school hoodie.

“Tsk, brat. Here give it to me,” Sukuna can be mean to anyone breathing but his little brother. “Suku-nii will hold it for you.” the beaming chubby smile on the five year old almost blinds Sukuna; he swears to god.

Baby Yuji triggers the worst cute agression deep within Sukuna (and i take it back, he can be mean) which surfaces in the form of his ever the jerk urge to make Yuji cry so he can scoop his lil pink weeping fluff and sooth him, bouncing lightly. And Yuji not being the sharpest crayon in the box would cling to his chest, pouting while Chuku-nii dries his tear-dampen red face. Sukuna lives for this, wakes and sleeps for his pure innocence.

“There, there. Suku-nii was joking brat, he's not eating you”

“Hah... sorry Yuji, I'm here, are you really scared of jump scares?” a kiss on the fat cheek, chuckling at the little boy's cuteness “I'm here”

And apparently it has been way easier to feed healthy meals to little Yuji than him, according to his mom.

“Who's the best boyyy?” Sukuna would drawl and the five year raises his short arm the highest he can, though being the only one being fed in the room. “’tadori!” and thankfully he has learnt to not speak further when the food has been stuffed in his little buccal cavity.

Nothing can make his day better than his little brother looking up at him expectantly with a mouthful of food.

“And who's the best big brother, little Dori?” “Chukunaaa” the elder would chortle, head thrown back because who the heck is more precious than his little petal. Taking the chance, he puts the plastic spoon full of veggies inside him, grin plastered with affection.

I'm alive! Just I have been doing more art of late which means not as much writing time! Working on two zine art pieces and trying to finish art I owed for something I forgot about 8'3

Ryomen Sukuna is to feast tonight. You, his right-hand knight, his first line of defence, his ever-faithful dog, his closest confidante, have prepared a banquet: you’ve slaughtered an entire Suguwara battalion. A fine stew they made, but Sukuna is still unsatisfied. 

“Be there no noble or peasant to fill my belly? No ample morsel in all these fertile lands?” Sukuna drawls, brows curled in annoyance. His entire court stands fearing their fates. The stew is finished, so is the rice and the wine.

“Then must I fare pale today?” His anger is terrible. Play your part, strong knight, save these trembling men. 

“O Lord,” You kneel onto one knee amid a parting crowd. “Point your finger and I shall hunt. My bow shall I draw, my sword shall I swing. You shall not go without your heart’s content.”

“Is that all you offer me, then?” His silken robes tinkle as he leans forward. 

“For you, I give you my teeth and nails,” comes your feverish vow. “My self and my soul, too. Pledged yours am I.”

“Hearty words, but my stomach goes unsated.”

“Then request, Lord. The sky itself will not be spared if you desire it so.”

“Will sky-air fill my hunger? I shall dine on something more precious.” His eyes burn crimson-flamed. “Your meat.”  

For a second you are taken aback, but the next one fills Sukuna with your aroma. Your unsheathed sword screeches against the marbled ground as you drag it with you up to his throne. In his lap you lay yourself and present your sword to him: Take it. Carve my flesh out as you desire. It’s all yours, anyway. 

If his courtiers, wives, concubines, soldiers and subjects gawk at the spectacle, Sukuna does not care. He caresses a gentle hand through your hair lest they cover the unwavering sincerity in your eyes. “No,” he declares, “Your deflowered sword shall not touch your skin. You deserve–,” his head leant down to yours, you breathe in the warmth of his exhale, “–a touch more worthy of you.”

You see the delight in Sukuna’s eyes before the horrifying pain rends through the centre of your chest. With one hand he’s broken your sternum apart and digs elbow-deep into your bloody mess of organs. Even with your reversed cursed technique it’s hard to keep awake: the hollow in your chest, the bloodloss, the unimaginable torture of it all pulling you under, away from your Lord’s blazing eyes that are all that you can perceive. You can feel every stretch of his finger inside you, every ripping tissue, every pulse on his heaving breath that echoes a desire that only you bring him. Only you and – found it – Sukuna, robes drenched in your blood red as his eyes, rips your heart out of you. It still beats for him. 

You can only lie limp cradled on his thighs and left arms as he sinks his teeth in, devotedly. An eye on his meal, another on his audience, and two on you. He does not say a word as he eats. What is there to say that you do not already understand? He eats your heart with overwhelming love and respect. 

Sukuna takes his time to chew through each bite, savouring the taste of your rich blood and strong sinews. This heart that nourished you since your birth, the one that stored memories of your childhood loves and dreams, all melt on his tongue. The flavour of your cursed energy, unparalleled. It pairs well with his own. 

He licks his fingers clean when he’s done. Not a single drop of blood of yours is wasted. You’re too pale, lips blue and palms white; Sukuna carries you to your chambers in his own arms. He does not offer to help you regenerate, he knows you can do it yourself. He trusts you. 

When you wake up, you find your sword next to you. Sukuna’s own blood, you can tell by its taste, is drying on your blade.
