I’m a huge fan of virtual reality! Discovering @getsupernatural when they first started during the spring of 2020, was a game changer for getting through the pandemic and also finding workouts that I enjoyed but also challenged me! And now they’ve made it even better by adding boxing! I’ve never tried boxing in my life but these workouts are not only fun but they are kicking my butt! I’m totally hooked and I am so thankful that they added this new way of training with virtual reality! Oculus: Supernatural VR workout game review

This VR workout definitely gets your heart pumping and having you sweating from head to toe! and I love it! So here's my review about it.

So I first started the supernatural VR workout game on Jan 2021 and now it's May. After months of working out to it I think I can say that it has been one of the best workout experiences I have ever had. It is so much fun and I don't even feel like I'm working out sometimes.

I have tried other workout apps on the Oculus like beat saber, firXR box and dancing, and VZfit to name a few and they haven't given me the same experience and excitement as the Supernatural workout game does.

So what does it feel like to play?

Well AMAZING! the visuals are amazing. You can be working out on a beach, volcano, mountains and so much more! It's honestly breathe taking. There are even ones that look like you're on a different plant! I feel like it makes you feel excited to workout and super motivated. I also feel like a whole different person. I feel like I have way more energy, way less tired then I was before using supernatural. I also feel like it has also made me more focused and more alert. I also feel like it has helped me remember things easier.

I am a RBT working with kids with autism and I am pursing my BCBA license so right now im getting my supervision. With supervision we go over the task list on things I need to learn and remember for the exam. Before working out with the game, I had a hard time keeping information about certain terms and etc, I would have to intensify study just to remember them. But during my supervision i'm noticing that i'm able to answer questions accurately and quickly now and I think it has to do with supernatural, like in some way it reshaped my brain and made it stronger.

I also feel better emotional and physically. And for someone who didn't really enjoy working out, supernatural has helped me gained a new love for getting fit.

The set up

When first getting the game, they do give you a free trail to test it out which I like about the app, not a lot of other apps do that. After your trial is done you have the option to pay for it which I will tell you now it SO worth it. AND you can have 4 profiles under one subscription.

is it for $19 a month, which I think isn't bad. But that is up to you if you would like to continue with it.

So after you have set up a profile, you will have a bunch of playlists you can choose from, ranging for low intensity to high intensity. They also have workouts that are short and some that go longer. They have different genres of music, oh the music for the workouts are amazing!

and the coaches! They are super motivating, I think they also help a lot with keeping you focused during your workouts. It's like they are there with you.

Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake-hole... ⁣ ⁣ I’m a little late but here is my post about how sad I am that Supernatural has come to an end. (Swipe to see some awesome shots of me with Baby at Eternal Con) ⁣ ⁣ So. ⁣ Supernatural has been a huge part of my life since season 1. (Remember when CW was The WB?!) It’s one of those shows that we set up family watch nights for & had to be home by 8pm so we wouldn’t miss anything. ⁣ ⁣ My family loves ghost stories. We always have and always will. Supernatural was the perfect show for us! ⁣ ⁣ It’s been there for us in tough times. It brought us so much joy. So much laughter. So many tears. It gave me something to call my mom about in college (other than asking for money & updates on how classes were going). I’ll also never forget the time Freshman year when I forced half of our floor to watch the season 4 premiere with me (@gracelouisecz @aderriere @wilmairene )⁣ ⁣ The show has had its ups and downs but it’s always been so incredibly special. And I have to give kudos to those (like me, mostly cuz of my mom @rhobod ) who have stuck with it until the end. I’m proud of us. We never gave up. ⁣ ⁣ I also want to give a special shout out to @misha for creating @gish and giving us weirdos a safe space to express ourselves for a good cause. You singlehandedly took the @cw_supernatural fandom and turned us into activists. Thank you. ⁣ ⁣ P.S. I did a Supernatural workout in my Geeknasium group. It’s amazing how much better I feel after my daily workout. Being stuck inside doesn’t mean you can’t have an awesome work out or get incredibly fit! There’s something about being able to look at the great outdoors while exercising that helps my brain feel as though it got to go outside and for that I am truly grateful to both @getsupernatural and @oculus ! I started this journey back in the spring of 2020 and at the time I picked up my old oculus headset and tried Supernatural, I was at a point where I felt like I was going to go crazy if I didn’t get outside. It only took minutes for my brain to feel like it had been given a different option to fixing my problem and for that I was and forever will be so thankful.
