A crowded place wasn’t exactly your most favorite of places to be at. Normally you’d avoid it, but tonight would have to be an exception.

The guys had wanted to celebrate. Another one of New York’s baddest had been successfully defeated and apprehended. What had been a lengthy battle had now transitioned into a moment to just breathe and be thankful. Chief Vincent had made it possible much like their first ceremony, to have a little moment of blissful freedom for a job well done. Together alongside the police officers who had aided them and were respectfully getting their own recognition as well, a party had been made for all to enjoy.

And thus here you were, absolutely ready to crawl out of your skin and contemplating if maybe beer would actually be useful for once. The music, the commotion, the hollering, it was all justified. Shit really had come close to ending way worse.

Even as you stood close to April and Casey, it didn’t seem enough to quiet your mind and that incessant voice in your head telling you to just go home.

You could do it. Just quietly slip away. A quick text to April telling her something came up. One subway ride and you’d be home.

You began to back away, just as Casey had pressed a loving kiss to April. Your feet moved you toward the closest exit. Side stepping a few inebriated cops and you’d be home bound.

Then you felt a gentle grip at your wrist. Delicate, all too aware that anymore and it could hurt you.

You looked back to see Mikey, he looked like he had pummeled his way through the crowd to get to you, the rise and fall of his plastron told you so. You hadn’t seen it or noticed it, but he had been watching you all night. Those baby blues had noticed your gears moving. He could tell this wasn’t your vibe, not your scene, and while he loved this commotion he could also understand why people didn’t.

Why you didn’t.

Truth be told he had been working up the courage to walk to you, maybe get you alone to allow you to breathe.

And for himself to admire and look at something so pretty as you.

“Ya leaving, angel?” He tried not to sound so down about it, so down bad for you.

“I’m just… this isn’t my thing” You weren’t even sure if he could hear you with all the music and noise.

So Mikey got in a little close, leaned down to better hear you. It was such a silly mundane thing to do but it made your insides topple.

“I said, this isn’t really my thing” You spoke louder and he nodded before turning his gaze back to you. A thumb ran across your pulse and it felt like an afterthought. For Mikey though, it made his skin buzz along with the bass.

He looked about quickly. Spotted some sliding doors that led to a balcony. The grip on your wrist was gone and now with a hand on the small of your back, you found yourself being led by him. It felt silly that this had your skin breaking out into goosebumps. Truth be told, Mikey appearing had almost fixed all of the pesky thoughts.

Mikey made sure no one collided with you. A friendly shove here and there and soon enough he pushed the curtains to the sliding door apart enough for you both to slide out.

Instantly the music, the voices, they were all drowned out. The cold air was chillier but the peace was welcomed.

“Better?” Mikey spoke with a soft smile. His response was earnest.

You nodded, cheeks just pink enough that it made it impossible for him not feel his gut somersault.

A careful rub of your arms once the winds picked up had him untying a jacket from around his waist. Without even asking he had wrapped it around your shoulders and smoothed it over your arms. He rubbed some warmth into your skin, gently, attentively and ever so shy.

All you could do was watch him wordlessly. The proximity of him, the sweetness in his intentions to keep you grounded, keep you warm. All those fuzzy feelings that had been brewing for him just boiling.

It was minute to admire. You both remained quiet, he uncharacteristically and you very much on par with your behavior.

Mikey’s mouth opened to speak but his courage was slipping.

You smiled, placed a hand on his chest, felt his heart rattling inside it.

He felt frozen on the spot, felt his heart take up too much space when your hand slipped to cup his cheek. Every fantasy of this moment paled to what he actually felt right now.

And he felt too much to describe.

You both stared at each others lips.

Once again, Mikey was leaning down and that silly little feeling bloomed into warmth.

@supershiny-raven and I decided to come up with some ideas on how a handful of characters would potentially smell/wear as perfume or cologne.

These are only fun little thoughts we made. Whether you disagree or agree is up to you. If you want to share more, feel free reblog.

✧ :: Sylvain Jose Gautier

I feel like he’d definitely have a musky yet lavishing aroma. Like it’s masculine but very inviting, at the same time. In my head, I figured something such as orange blossoms and cedarwood (with maybe a hint of coconut) I like to hc that he’s got fluffy and loose locks, so most products would be coconut scented (modern-wise, at least) He’s obviously an erotic/flirtatious character. The more bitter/citrus part of his scent would complement that, and the sweeter bits would feel like a trance almost. It fits his character well, I think. He pleasantly draws people in with a lovingly, overwhelming aroma.

✧ :: Felix Hugo Fraldarius

I was a bit stuck on this because of the fact that he’d mostly smell like the training grounds, whetstones, or even weaponry; however, aside from those aspects, he might give off a spicy aroma. There’s probably a nature/airy base or something, but for the most part, he’d smell like a rosy bonfire. Like scandalwood, birchwood, amber, and moss. Perhaps cedarwood like Sylvain. I’d probably say scandalwood and birchwood though. Felix just feels like he’d have a bitter/spicy scent. Something that immediately grabs your attention, but not in an odd way. Its simply striking and sharp smelling. Exactly how he likes to keep his blades, along with his outer attitude too.

✧ :: Claude Von Riegan

I’m not sure why, but he was pretty hard to think of a scent for. I figured he’d smell spicy yet musky/mossy. Not legitimately spicy like Felix, but something with a kick to it, at least. My guess for this was apple spice, bergamot, and amber. I was also trying to take into consideration Almyra for his scent, but apple spice seemed to match the particular spiciness I was looking for. I wouldn’t doubt that there’s definitely a better substitute for him; however, I think this combination fits well. Its complex just like him.

✧ :: Byleth Eisner (Female)

Ray came up with this scent for Byleth. They felt like something clean/fresh yet sweet (such as fruity/floral) would fit her best. Perhaps a zen garden with a bit of a berry aroma (and even peonies) She seems like she’d smell like the monastery, honestly. Like her dorm is basically how she smells 24/7. With all of her students always gifting her lovely flowers, it makes complete sense for Byleth to give off a floral freshness or berry bliss.

✧ :: Edelgard Von Hresvelg

This was another one that was a tad difficult because of her pairings. I immediately wanted to give her a perfume that she might wear while out with a girlfriend or partner, in general, but I mostly considered her, for the most part. Because of that, I feel like she’d have a citrus scent with a bubbly sweetness to it. I was thinking something with lemon and lavender (maybe a few berries) Edelgard seems like she’d have a crisp yet bitter citrus smell to her, blended together with a floral/berry sweetness. She’s fierce yet cute all in one.

✧ :: Ferdinand Von Aegir

Okay, listen, here me out…but Ferdinand is definitely someone who’s ordering a pumpkin spice latte during the fall. I’m not sure what else to say aside from that about him because he’d absolutely smell like pumpkin spice with a nice bergamot and cedarwood accent. He’d have a sweet spicy smell to him. Like a peaceful tea time or something. He’d just smell very noblest/elegant. Because he’s Ferdinand Von Aegir, of course.

✧ :: Dorothea Arnault

I made her scent similar to Sylvain’s with the whole flirty/lovely aromas, but unlike Sylvain, Dorothea doesn’t need to entice people with her beauty. The people come to her initially. Like a love spell or entrancement. She’d smell downright luxurious and sweet (with floral hints for sure) Dorothea gives off blossoms and orchids aromas. She smells like an entire bouquet, basically, and everyone is just drawn to the flowery scent. She is the pique definition of beauty.

✧ :: Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd

Ray made this one too. They were mostly thinking of his post-war designs/life as the King of Faerghus. It was concluded that Dimitri would probably smell more mature perhaps. Similar to Byleth, he’d just smell like his palace mostly, which seems welcoming yet classy. Like warm leather, vanilla, and blackberry. I can picture him wearing colors such as the ones in his post-timeskip designs with a pleasant warm aroma. It’s refreshing into a new beginning for Faerghus.

·         Love love loves to carry you over rooftops and sit on high points to look over the city with you. This is one of his ways to calm down and think about things without his brothers’ around to stress him out, and having you there some nights, looking at the glitter of the lights – poetry for his heart

·         Speaking of poetry – you guys will have contests for who can make the worst poems. Just something to pass off to each other between visits, something you find in your bag or in his bed sheets. Cheesy, unrhythmic, stupid, whatever. You guys have cried laughing before b/c of this. However, every once in a while he’ll slap you with a real intimate and loving poem that just makes you melt.

·         You’ve started trying to sneak up on him. It doesn’t work. He still lets you do it, just so he can turn around and grab you at the last second. Sometimes he throws you on the nearest soft surface, sometimes he gives you a big kiss, sometimes he just starts carrying you around like a sack of potatoes – depends on his mood honestly. Your determination to spook him is cute.

·         Watching or listening to True Crime stuff becomes a quick couple’s hobby for you guys. Usually it’s playing in the background as you each do chores or work on some project, but you’ll each talk about the case throughout. You’ve hit him more than once for giving away what happened or who killed who. He’s too good at figuring this kind of stuff out!

·         He loves when you sit with him when he meditates. Even if you aren’t the meditating type, if you just sit quietly by him or read, he already feels much calmer. If he’s practicing balancing moves, he’ll sometimes grab you to hoist you up in the air, “to practice strength” at the same time. You’ve learned it’s a very bad idea to squirm when he’s got you planking above his head; he will start tickling you if you don’t keep still.

Raph

·         Once he gets a good enough disguise, he loves to ride around on his newly built motorcycle with you on the city streets. It’s fun to zip through cars and people and drive out to the sparser points of the city to watch ships come in and out of the bay or go to a park outside the city to watch the lights as they all turn on at dusk.

·         Loooovvess having movie nights with you. Seriously asks for it every week. You two get comfy on the couch with like 3 blankets thrown over your laps and watch something like Jurassic Park or Mad Max and gorge on buttery popcorn and chocolate. Sometimes you’ll slip in a chick flick like Pride and Prejudice. He acts like he doesn’t like it, but you’ve caught a goofy, happy smile on him more than once at the end of the movie, and then he starts lifting your hand like Mr. Darcy and adopting more “romantic” actions and it’s just *chef’s kiss*

·         You guys will spar together. It’s kinda required once you date him; he wants you to be able to kick butt if he can’t get to you fast enough. But these sessions usually end up with you and him wrestling/tickling each other and him holding you down with a foot while he lifts weights. Get comfy princess, he ain’t moving that foot ‘til he get 100 reps.

·         He has a really good eye for fashion and makeup. He’s actually the one that sews together all of his family’s clothes, as much as possible with the scraps they find around. It’s calming to make something instead of the stigma he has of destroying stuff. He’s the first person you SnapChat with an outfit just to make sure it looks good, and he sends back honest feedback, like “why do you still have that scarf, you know it doesn’t match anything in your closet,” or “try the red sweater with that long gold necklace you have.” Everyone compliments your outfits so much because of his input

·         Likes to go swimming with you. There’s a few clear, clean pools in the sewers (Donnie approved) where you guys go just to have a good swim. There’s usually some candles lit and music playing. More often than not, you’ll end up laying on his chest while he floats on the surface and just enjoy each other’s company. At least until he gets the idea to dunk you.

Donnie

·         Sneaking into the rafters of Broadway is a regular event for you guys. He manages to disable any security they have up around your “spot,” and you get a free show with your favorite person. He’ll be quoting his favorite lines for days after, all the while talking about the next show to see. He’d so be a theater kid if he had the chance.

·         One of the main things that got you guys together in the first place was you helping him put together tech he’s working on. It still continues now, since you have a steady hand and a willing ear to listen to his theories and ideas. You’ve even inspired him a few times with your comments! It’s a casual bonding activity for you both, and he values your thoughts.

·         Spontaneous dances are a must. Sometimes he’ll grab you and dance around the room – especially if an experiment of his goes well – sometimes it’ll be goofy dances to see how badly you two can embarrass anyone looking, and other times, you guys will just slow dance before you leave, just as a way to be close before having to part.

·         You guys form your own little potted plant collection in the lair. It’s both a hobby, and a way for you to check on how he’s doing. If he’s doing well, the plants are watered and taken care of. If he’s getting sucked into things and forgetting to care for himself, the plants suffer. He tries to get an auto-watering system for them, but you shut that down quick. It’s good to do some things yourself rather than rely on technology!

·         Cupcake Saturdays are a thing. He’ll take you to a bakery, where you’ll go in and get a box of cupcakes (extra frosting). You guys will then just chow down on them on the rooftop, often with him licking a lot of the frosting off the cupcakes before eating the actual “cake” part.

Mikey

·         Such a fan of trying every new restaurant you can find in NYC. It’s become a date-night tradition every Thursday to either order or pick up some hole-in-the-wall place’s food, meet up somewhere, and Gordon Ramsay the crap out of the food. He does a mean Ramsay impression, and you’ve snorted more than one ramen noodle out of your nose from laughing so hard.

·         If you aren’t a fan of video games, you will be once you date this guy. It’s not even just watching or playing video games with him, he’s just funny when he plays! He’ll make the most stupid comments about something going on in the storyline, or mess around, even glitch out a game. He’s managed to get out of the maps of Among Us more than once. You’re convinced if he started his own YouTube gaming channel, he’d be a quick star.

·         Game nights are a must for you guys. It usually turns into a family game night with you, the turtles, Splinter, April and Casey, which Mikey just adores because he gets to see everyone he loves having fun. You two will usually team up against the others, or turn on each other to stab the other in the back. Uno and Cover Your Assets have made you guys question your loyalty to each other more than once. That Uno Reverse card, man…

·         Arts and crafts are his favorite. Anytime a holiday is coming up, Mikey gets hyped ‘cause he knows you guys are gonna start making decorations for it. You guys will usually make decorations for each other. Mikey loves this, just because he feels like a normal person by having actual Halloween decorations around the lair instead of stuff he and his bros scraped together off the streets.

·         Loves to stargaze with you in the summer time. He’ll convince Donnie to let him drive the truck out of the city to the countryside of New York, bring you with him, and set up on the roof of the truck in the middle of a field (that he totally didn’t crash through a wood fence to get to). Fireflies will fly over your faces, and he’ll joke that they’re shooting stars and make a thousand and one wishes on each of them. He won’t tell you that all of those wishes are for you and him to be together forever, but it’s not hard to guess with how mushy he gets after each one.

Request: Soft-spoken reader who ends up yelling when they are upset about their day.

For all the turtles. Ralph’s is a bit short and Donnie’s got a bit long lol

Raph:

-I feel like early in the relationship Raph wouldn't really notice if you were upset and hiding it.

-He would keep on like normal and tease you here and there like he always does. It had been a long hard day with too much ‘friendly’ teasing from ‘friends’

-You had just wanted a nice afternoon/evening with your boyfriend but he was teasing you too. You tried to keep it to yourself but eventually you yelled out for him to stop it.

-At first your out burst would probably amuse him but then he would see tears in your eyes, your shoulders shaking, and clenched fists as you tried to fight with your emotions.

-He would soften up, apologize and this big, violent, teddy bear would take you to his room and cuddle you and ask you what's wrong and if he needed to break someone's jaw.

Mikey:

-This boy is super tuned into your emotions. He notices immediately if you are upset.

-But just because he notices doesn’t mean he knows why. He will immediately assume it's because of him and that you don't want to be with a turtle anymore.

-He will smother you all day and ask constantly if you are okay.

-This becomes too much and you yell at him to back off and leave you alone. However as soon as you do this and you see hurt in his eyes you crumble and say your sorry.

-He comes over and picks you up and brings you to the couch and you tell him what's going on.

Leo:

-He had invited you to train and in your opinion was being a shit head. He meant well of course he wanted you to know basic self defense, but he was having way too much fun dancing around you and teasing you.

-You had grown incredibly frustrated and were not having fun. You had told him to quit but he thought you two were just having fun and so he didn't.

-He zipped out of your sight and pinched your ass, which was normally fine, but this time it was the final straw.

-You let out a frustrated scream and stormed out of the dojo past the brothers who were watching a movie. You went home right away.

-Later that night after a nice long shower you heard light tapping on your window. There was Leo with flowers and a pizza. He looked apologetic and said sorry and that he would be nicer next time.

-You gave him a kiss and you two had a nice relaxing night in.

Donnie:

-He had been working non-stop for days. He didn't sleep or eat or look up from his task.

-You knew his work was important to him but your anniversary was tomorrow and you reminded him all day and the next. He kept agreeing and even told you “Of course I’ll be there.”

-You dressed up all nice and cooked a nice meal for the two of you to share and bought a special little outfit for after dinner. You did your hair and make up and put on a nice dress, and waited.

-You waited for hours and text messages went unanswered. You became angry and hurt.

-You woke up hours later to a very excited looking Donnie. Who had come to share the news that he had finished his project. It hurt and you lashed out “Well thats fucking great Donnie! So glad you decided to come over 7 hours late!” You snapped, laid back down, and rolled over.

-Donnie hurt by this went back to the lair. He began cleaning up sniffling trying not to be hurt by his girlfriends words. That is when he found all the notes you had left and all the texts you had sent reminding him of your anniversary and to his horror saw that he had acknowledged the texts saying he would be there.

-You woke up in the morning to all your favorite breakfast foods and candy. Also a very guilty and sorry Donatello.

Okay so Marie (Mikey) is named after Marietta Robusti, Sofie (Donnie) after Sofonisba Anguissola and Vin (Raph) after Lavinia Fontana.

These women were all renaissance painters. Marietta Robusti is the lesser known of the three but I chose her for Marie’s name because the nickname starts and ends with the same two sounds as Mikey’s. I chose Sofonisba Anguissola for Sofie because I just kinda see Sofie’s face in her self-portrait painting. And Lavinia Fontana is just a cool sounding name and I love the nickname Vin for a fem!Raph as well as Vinnie to go with Raphie.

Arty (Leo) is named after Artemisia Gentileschi who isn’t a renaissance artist but a baroque painter. The reason I chose her is because she is the most well known woman artist in history just like Leonardo da Vinci. I know I took some liberty with her but all these women were still alive in the same time period so it can count, Artemisia just fell under baroque. Also I like the fact that Vin can call her big sis Missy when she’s being extra bossy and annoying. :D

Now though? As the still quiet of the dawn began to shift into morning routines of the rest of the brothers in the Lair, Mikey had awoken and awoken he’d felt a deep desire.

This wasn’t a strange occurrence for the two of you. Long ago you both had expressed this to be okay and welcomed way to start the day.

So it wasn’t odd when that hand still between your legs shifted, the gentle trek to cup your clothes crotch making your brows twitch. What is HLVRAI? Please share, id like to learn something new uwu

So, after typing fo a while and then consulting my brother {who introduced me to the series} I’ve decided to delete that and do something easier.

HLVRAI is Half-Life VR but the AI is Self Aware. It’s basically a DnD-esque Roleplay that uses Half-Life models and maps, meaning the story is original. It’s found on YouTube (Both cut and full) and Twitch. Now for a list of words that actually mean something in the story to try and entice you into watching it.
