Spider-Man is trying to get over his ill-advised crush on Deadpool, and his online flirtation with fellow SuperStalker user might be just the ticket! Except, of course, nothing in Peter Parker’s life is simple, so his online crush who he thought sometimes roleplays as Deadpool on their favorite superhero-sightings website--actually is Wade Wilson. Deadpool-style humor, some hijinks, and maybe even some actual plot as Spider-Man tries to focus on his calling, while Deadpool tries to get Spider-Man to see that Deadpool is calling, to ask him out! (There will be references to, and excerpts from, the fictional superhero-following social media TMZ-like website they use, SuperStalker.)

What's the point of having artists numbers?

We have noticed that in traditional bangs, the identity of the author is concealed, but the artist is known. This means that the artist is left patiently waiting to find out their author, while the author has the knowledge and is able to find their artist’s social media and see their work prematurely. This doesn’t seem fair in our eyes. 

We’ve decided to keep everyone’s identity a secret in the claims process. All authors, betas, and artists have numbers that they are identified by during claims. Only the mods know who is who until team introductions are made.

Does that make sense?

They are an “Into The SpiderVerse” Mini Bang, focusing on the movie, while we are a SpiderVerse Big Bang designed for every Spider-Man character, universe, and version of Spider-Man.

How long are your author sign ups??

Hello!

We’ve decided to extend Author Sign-Ups until April 12th, 2019 to give everyone the optimal time to sign-up!

Author Sign Ups Close: April 12th

All other sign-ups close: May 10th.

When do sign-ups close? Do I have to be 18 to join?

Hey there, Author Sign-Ups close on April 1st while all of the other sign-ups close on the 10th of May. You do not have to be 18 to join. We ask that you disclose this, however, so that we know whether you can work on fics over a Teen rating. Under 18 participants can only write/create for works that are Teen ratings and below. Hope that clears everything up!

I had a question relating to fic authors and the beta readers. Can we sign up if we have beta readers we already use and trust? And if one of my beta readers also wanted to join as an author would that be allowed? I guess what I'm asking is if we could both join and beta each other's fics? Or do the beta readers have to be ones that signed up? Or if we could use our own as long as they're not signed up for another role?

Hey there!

We ask that authors have their fics beta read before publishing, and while we do offer beta readers you do not have to use ours. If you have a beta you trust, you’re more than welcome to continue using them for your work. You can also have more than one beta if you’d like to utilize our betas, but that is optional. 

Your beta reader definitely can join as an author! We have no limit on how many roles one person can take on, as long as you know your limit. If someone wanted to sign up as an author, artist, beta, story coach, and a pinch-hitter that would be allowed. 

If you both joined as authors and beta readers, you’re more than welcome to select each other as betas! Betas are picked by the author from a list we provide, but again, if you have a beta who is not signed up, you do not have to choose from the list.
