Week 1 of counting calories

Start weight: 70,2kg (07.09.2020)
Current weight: 68,5kg (14.09.2020)
I lost 1,7kg! That seems like waaaay to much for only one week, but I think a lot of it is water weight + my scale had a very low battery last week, so that might have thrown it off? I don’t really know, but I have to say, I'm very happy about seeing results so soon 🙌🏻
Like I said, I don’t think it’s 100% correct, but I’m totally counting it as a success and as a sign to keep going! I’ve actually purchased the “premium” version of the Lifesum-app, so I can have more statistics and better insights, because that really motivates me :) (Also it was “only” 22,50€ for an entire year!)
What it’s shown me so far is that I always eat too many fats. And I know fats are good for you, when they come from avocados or salmon, but my fats mostly come from cheese :( So I'll try to be better about that.
This week I've been walking quite a bit and I’ve been really enjoying it, mostly because the weather has been good which is rare for where I live. But I plan to keep doing it, since it doesn’t feel like exercise to me, it’s just a fun thing to do in my mind :) 🌤️
Sadly my skin has been breaking out like crazy for the past few days and I don’t know why - might be dairy, might be gluten. I’ve not been eating much sugar so I don’t think that's it... Hopefully that will calm down soon, I always go through phases like that. But It hasn’t stopped me from going outside which is huge for me! I used to hide in my room or would only go outside with a full face of makeup on! But I don’t really care, I just want to be comfortable when I walk, and I’m definitely not when I’m sweaty AND have makeup on 💁🏻‍♀️Plus no-one, who I go to uni with, is already here, because we’re still on summer break, so the chance of running into anyone I know is very litte :)

(My calves were kiiiiiiling me during this run 😑 but tis all güd. Pushing through this challenge helped my cardio immensely, I’m only a week in and I’m stoked to see how it will end ok bye)

Repost @fattofit_bpdsurvivor - Just went for a 1.8 mile brisk walk for Day 16 of #sweatember :) 3 months ago today I took my last drink. It was a strawberry margarita. I was trying to moderate and the drink just filled me with anxiety as I wanted more. It was meant to be a nice date night but I couldn't relax. That was the moment I decided I needed to get sober. Successful Shopping Day!

For a late birthday present I went shopping with my mom and my sister - and I got a lot of basic pieces, that will hopefully stay in my closet for a while since they’re so versatile! And they should still fit me even when I’m at my goal weight.
I’ve really avoided going shopping - simply bc I didn’t like how most clothes fit me, especially and since I went up 2(!) sizes. But now that I’m on a good path to losing weight, I already feel better about shopping, and buying things in my size (for now) is more fun than desperately trying to fit into my old size, that’s for sure 🛍️
I’ve also ate a pretty good salad with chicken, avocado and melon, which is a combination I hadn’t tried before. Obviously I went with a Coke light, which is now my preferred choice of drink when eating out 🥃
I also love spending time with my family, they’re everything to me and I can’t wait to move closer to them once I'm done with uni 🥰
