ooh interesting question. I guess there are ships I used to be pretty into where I stopped watching their shows (Ruby/Belle on OUAT), but a lot of the ships I was really into I've basically become a sleeper agent for, where I can be activated at any time. The nice thing is that I'm not really involved in fandoms anymore to the point where I get turned off by annoying sections of the fandom if I already ship something (there are a couple of big femslash ships I would maybe have been into where I was turned off purely bc of the fans lmfao).

this is a silly Skimmons one, but like, there's a tumblr post where like Grammarly or something suggests correcting "good girl" to "satisfactory small woman" and I think Daisy saw that, laughed her ass off, and immediately changed Jemma's contact info to it. Also Daisy texted Jemma this tweet and Jemma responded "reported blocked unfollowed."

glad to hear your perspective from a swing state! colorado is pretty blue but i still get MAGAs when i text bank which just makes me nervous abt the rest of the country ugh. intellectually i know biden can and probably will win this but it's so hard not to let anxiety rule lol

it doesn’t feel much like a swing state in recent years since it’s been pretty red since 2008, and hasn’t had a blue gov since the ‘90s, and where I live is always blood red, but it’s NOT like four years ago where there was this weirdness going on, like effigies of Hillary hanging and stuff

but literally I go visit my mom in the next county over or see my doctor there and it’s a nightmare, totally different. it’s a very wealthy county and those greedy evil fucks don’t have any humanity.  Rick Scott lives there.

it’s a depressing concession to make but i think the “swing voters” can swallow voting for Biden because he’s a white guy, and especially because he’s a guy

the sexism in this country against women leaders is real and i think it’s part of why we haven’t seen a TON of Kamala in this campaign sadly

my interpretation of "tried to change the ending, peter losing wendy" is the fact that peter lost wendy is the thing that james is trying to change. peter lost wendy bc wendy wanted the chance to grow up and peter NEVER would, so these two characters (wendy & peter) want different things out of life. so the way i see it is like at some point james knows he's losing betty somehow and tries to go back and change it (showed up at the party?) but to me it seems like it doesn't work (cont)

pt 2 - so wendy/betty is the person who makes the choice to move on (though she will always remember peter/james fondly) and peter/james is the one who realizes what's happening and tries to hold onto something that's already over, i don't know if i phrased this all very well but that's how i see it

hi eryn! thank you this helped! i think i was reading the line wrong, that james was trying to change the ending to “peter losing wendy” instead of wendy actively, willingly leaving him (emphasis on losing almost like an accident or circumstance instead of the pain of knowing she chose to leave him). but i think it makes more sense to read it as james wants to change the ending from “peter losing wendy” to something else, which picks up with what you’re saying.

i'm already so filled with anxiety i don't know how i'm going to survive tuesday (probably will be drunk tbh)

but i feel so weirdly hopeful?  first it was the Puscifer concert on Friday that left me feelng so inspired.  Then I’ve just seen SO MANY BIDEN-HARRIS signs in this very deep red part of Florida and not a single Trump sign in my neighborhood, that I almost wonder if my county could go to Biden.  My mother’s county remains a Trumpian nightmare but where I live feels like BIDEN COUNTRY and that, trust me, is heckin’ WEIRD.  Lee County is named after Robert E. Lee.  This is the county where Sarah Palin had that weird fawning sherriff in 2008.  It’s an embarrassing place lmao.

If Trump loses Florida, he loses.  He loses a place like LEE FUCKING COUNTY, he ain’t winning Florida.  I feel so positive.

But i’ll be stoned out of my gourd and idk WHEN I will sleep lol. I’m already on edge.
