I’m honestly very annoyed with that they’re doing with Buck and Eddie’s friendship. Like yes it’s never been perfect and it’s had its out of pocket moments but 8B has been very ?????? In terms of their friendship. Like does Tim want us to even like their friendship at this point? And what’s unsatisfying is that it doesn’t even seem like they’re going to do anything with all this fracturing of the friendship they’ve been doing. So like what is the point?

once upon a time tim said that the writers started writing less 1:1 scenes between buck and eddie because they didn’t want to be accused of baiting. now it feels like we’re pivoting to the other extreme of “stop the baiting allegations” by destroying the dynamic that I think we all came to enjoy regardless of whether we shipped them romantically.

neither decision is working, and worst than that this new direction is actively destroying everything we enjoyed about their dynamic.
