π Gingerbread Snack Cake Just like Grandma used to make... β¬βΌβΎβͺοΈβΎβΌβ¬ 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup butter 1/3 cup sugar 1 cup molasses 3/4 cup hot water or coffee 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg β¬βΌβΎβͺοΈβΎβΌβ¬ Heat oven to 325Β°F. Line 9x9 square pan with parchment. β¬βΌβΎβͺοΈβΎβΌβ¬ In large bowl mix all ingredients together with wooden spoon, scraping bowl constantly. Pour into pan. β¬βΌβΎβͺοΈβΎβΌβ¬ Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. When cool sprinkle with powder sugar.
