I wish there was a decent Shadowverse fandom online somewhere. I know some people might think that the Shadowverse card game is just an anime version of Hearthstone, but it has other mechanics involved like the ability to evolve your cards. These are the unevolved and evolved forms of one of my favorite cards, Flame Witch.

Shadowverse also has a decent anime series that's predictable but fun to watch, which in turn has an RPG video game called Shadowverse Champion's Battle. The latter is totally beginner friendly, with an extensive tutorial that shows you the ropes, the different deck types, and a hint button to use if you get stuck while playing. It and the anime have been giving me so much life recently and IMO sets the standard for what a RPG card game should be: a world to move around in and challenge NPCs, subquests, a story mode, and tons of cards to collect and use.

I forgot the thrill of getting a console for Christmas

I had to wait until everyone else was done with their gifts to open mine, and when I did, I got the New Horizons-themed Switch Lite. I literally started bawling because HOLY SHIT I was not expecting that. so now I'm sitting waiting on New Horizons to download and crying because not only was it a really expensive and thoughtful gift, but it's my first Nintendo console. I had a Wii, but it wasn't bought just for me or even for me to begin with. but now I have a console where I can play my first ACTUAL LEGIT Pokemon game and the feeling is so amazing.

big shoutout to my big sister who heard me briefly mention wanting a Switch two years ago and remembered that I wanted one
