Cringetober Day 18: Old Art Redraw

I chose Akuro from my Elementos-Series for that prompt. I'll stick with that artstyle for that series, very inspired by the Wakfu- and PuyoPuyo-Artstyle.

HIGH GUARDIAN REDESIGNS (Part 1 of 4)

//this is gonna be a short series of redesigning and rewriting the four main characters of high guardian spice.//

starting with the main protagonist: rosemary.

REDESIGN now my only complaints about her design is that her hair and dress are a bit too... poofy. i think her hair is TRYING to be pigtails but its too big and poofy and looks like it puts too much weight on her head. don't get me wrong, i don't have an issue with female active fighting characters wearing dresses and skirt, but rose's dress seems a bit too wide and puffy. which definitely can be uncomfortable, especially for a warrior in training.

so i shorten her hair and puts two small bows so it actually looks like something is tying the tails together. i gave her a smaller skirt with shorts that'll at least be more comfortable. since she's practicing swordsman work, i gave her a little bit of armor. its a basic warrior-in-training design but at least it'll be better for her to wear when in combat.

REWRITE rosemary is an enthusiastic young girl who lives in a small village with her childhood best friend, sage. growing up, her family described her to have a strong imagination and being very energetic, but she can be a tad bit clumsy and get into trouble. one time, she climbed a tree to see inside a bird's nest, but ended up falling and resulted in a sprained ankle and chipped her front left tooth. her leg healed quickly, but the gap in her teeth still remains as she got older.

she always looked up to her mother, lavender, who had disappeared after being sent on a dangerous mission and never returned. she was later presumed deceased after finding her sword alone in a forest. rosemary then decides to enroll into high guardian academy and become a guardian. to explore and search thr world to find out what happened to her mother.

Klaus "Swordsmith" Cooper

Klaus Cooper was one of the earliest recruits in The Bus Driver's Association of America, a Super Government Organization tasked with gathering Supra-Humans at the behest of "The Man in Charge." Members of The Bus Drivers are sent out to protect the world from Super Powered Villains, and other threats. In return, the Super Heroes recruited to the Bus Drivers Association are given a special stipend, and are placed in an Identity Protection Program, which presents itself, in most cases, as a cover job as a Bus Driver.

Klaus operates as a bus driver in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moonlights as the Super Hero: "Swordsmith." Swordsmith's powers allow him to transform any Rod or Sword-Like Object into a blade made of pure concentrated Light or Plasma. He's gone through several weapons over his tenure as Swordsmith, most commonly utilizing the emergency brake on his bus, and even a toy lightsaber, but once he discovered he could use a Tent Pole like a Chain Whip Sword...it was hard for him to go back.

He was also the Bus Driver to discover and recruit Kinetic and Puck to the team.

New Character Introduction

Aria Krystal

A Purple dyed haired Native American Girl named Aria Krystal who is 18 years old living in a utopian fantasy town by the ocean called “Aquarian Town”, she attends in private high school where students train as warriors and mages and had picked the job class to train as a sword fighter at the age of 14. She is Cheerful when she’s excited and amazed by the awesome weapons, she can be Kind and Friendly when she makes new friends, and sometimes she can be childish and impulsive when she doesn’t think through dangerous situations she’s in, but Aria would get help from friends, and she can be able to make up for her mistakes.

Aria started training by one of the teachers and her mentor from the school where she attends at the age of 14, she started fighting how to fight, but she failed at some multiple times and that is when Aria felt like she wanted to give up and quit. But then, when her mentor came up to her and taught her something to never give up and become stronger as she gave her a special necklace that made her have hope to keep going. Eventually she became stronger and gained experience with her friends going on quests, adventuring and fighting the evil forces. As she made some friends and made stronger bonds, they will always look out for each other.

Her Abilities and moves are swordfighting, she can wield one or even two swords to fight monsters and enemies. Aria also has a form that can turn her outfit and hair to light and darkness wielding 2 swords that she gained from the Light-Dark sword.

Oh and she also likes to Play video games, has special interest in drawing, reading manga books, hanging out with her friends, listening to music (Either J-Pop, Video Game OSTs, and others she has interest in) and going out on adventures.

Her Weapons? She wields a blue crystal sword “Aurora Crystal Blade”, and the other sword she wields is a half Light and Dark Blade.
