“FBI Cyber Crime Unit, Special Agent Stilinski speaking, how may I assist you?” Stiles balanced the phone against his shoulder as he stepped up in the line for his coffee. The girl in front of him glanced back behind her shoulder, clearly trying to eavesdrop.

“Hey, kiddo, nice title,” he heard his dad’s voice from the other end of the phone, clearly amused by Stiles’ choice of answering the phone. “All packed up and ready to come this weekend?”

Stiles nodded, then realized his dad couldn’t see his head moving. “Yeah, all set! The car is packed up, I’m getting my suit from the cleaner, and then Rick and I will be on the way!”

“I’m just so glad that you found someone, Stiles. Can’t wait to meet the boyfriend who finally convinced you to do more than play video games and study.”

18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

Honestly, probably Jackson. I've not written him much, but I've been slowly working on a Jackson/Kira/Stiles fic, so I've had to actually try working with him. I'm often unsure of whether or not I'm nailing him, but I like where I'm going so far!

28. Favorite work you wrote this year?

I am terrible at choosing favorites, but I really quite enjoyed two of my kinkwhumptober fics, one Stargent and the other Jackson/Peter/Stiles. Both of them were hella self-indulgent, but they're some of the few fics of mine I still enjoy rereading.

Summary: Stiles struggles a lot after the events with the Wild Hunt. His friends that had been happy to have been back eventually go back to their lives, no one noticing just how much everything that happened is still effecting him. Until Stiles finds himself confiding in the last person he'd ever expect to care, Peter Hale, who convinces Stiles to open up to his Dad. Little does Stiles know Peter and the Sheriff are giving the rest of the pack the push they need to start making Stiles feel like he's pack again.

This fic is very cathartic. I love the way Derek addresses Stiles's estrangement in this fic, and it's just such a good read.

He nearly chokes on his spit when the customer walks in. He’s gorgeous. Jet black hair, aventurine eyes, and well-groomed beard. He’s tall, broad, and everything Stiles has ever wanted in a guy.

He’s also followed by an equally attractive woman. 

“I don’t need a date,” Mr. Sexy says grumpily.

“You do too,” the woman snaps.

🍄 Are there any fandoms you've never written for but want to try? 

🛳 Are there any new ships you want to write for? (Platonic, romantic, or anything in between.)

🍄: Not really? For the most part, I'm pretty good about writing whatever strikes my muse. There are definitely fandoms I haven't written for but would, if the right idea came along, but I can't think of any that I really want to write for and haven't. The closest is maybe It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, where I've got a few headcanons rolling around, but nothing that's taken hold enough for me to actively want to sit down and write a thing for them.

🛳 : See above. Again, not that have dug their heels in to become a whole idea, but I wouldn't turn down the opportunity if something did. As Lin-Manuel Miranda said (on the Sunny podcast; this one is literally written on a sticky note and tacked up next to my front door), you have to "find the idea that pursues you," and when I find something like that, I usually try to make it happen.
