Hi I wrote a thing w/ X-535 Bella bc she rotates in my brain occasionally.

Realistically, Bella would see Rein around the Safety Department (Ryn and Rein bein buddies and all) but maybe not a proper meeting.

Since OG Rein remain rather menacing/not as outwardly kind, it'd maybe be harder for them to be friends, but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

secondly, this is pretty accurate imo. t589, being a branch facility, relied on their captains (alongside vice captains) to be the head of things, but bella was told that the next facility she goes to likely would have sephirah to report to - and when a sephirah gives her something... it should go straight to another sephirah, right? (unless ordered otherwise ofc lol)

reinhardts. somewhat menacing nature could make it a bit harder for them to be friends... at first she wouldnt bring it up/think much of it, since hes her superior and all. but once they start to get a casual friendship, she'd probably offhandedly mention it. overall, with reinhardt being outwardly willing to help, shed be more likely to go back to him for assistance (i feel like, at least at first, shed also do this general; she wouldnt wanna bother the ones who dont seem as willing).

How do I gently bring up how lowkey obsessed I think Eddie is with Buck's current physique... like do yall get it? That man wants his man BIG. Buck's drinking his green smoothie for breakfast and Eddie's like "I thought you were bulking!!! ): " I'M CRAZY.

NODDING. eddie thinks buck is one of The most beautiful people he has ever laid eyes on, and it doesn’t matter how many times buck takes off his shirt eddies mouth goes dry and his heart stutters Every Time.

eddie would love buck smaller or bigger but he loves big buck and here are my thoughts:

1. buck takes pride in his body and working for how his body looks and eddie lovess that. bucks body is Not sculpted by the gods it’s sculpted by Buck and that does something to eddie. Buck Wants to look like this, it gives him confidence and seeing buck know he looks good makes eddie feel all 🥰🥰😍😍 inside.

2. buck can get slightly self conscious about his belly but eddie kisses him all over and lovessss wrapping his arms around bucks middle and giving the smallest squeeze, and sometimes buck is about to get a second helping of pasta and looks down at his tummy and frowns and puts the ladle back and eddie gets up all kind eyes and says. are you still hungry? And bucks like .. yeah. 🥺 And eddie serves him a big ol second helping bc he’s not gonna have his guy think he needs to deny himself anything especially not to improve his body which eddie thinks is PERFECTTT and buck smiles and takes his plate to the table and digs in.

3. eddie lovessss worshipping buck. Awe and Reverence are crucial to my eddiestanding of his feelings for buck and they’re mixed in with every touch and kiss, and big buck means more to hold and cherish.

Bonus number 4: he does NOT love buck being big bc it makes him feel like a smol boy. no. 🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️

Do you have any recommendations for starting a story? Yours is so good and it really inspires me to try and make one of my own but idk where to start

Hmmm a tough question! I think we all just kinda start and learn as we go? It's the best way tbh.. if you look back at the beginning of most simblr stories they've usually come a long way! Here's a couple tips that I think might be handy tho...

Maybe we could start a thread and everyone could reblog this with their own tips?! 🤩

Decide if you want to build your own lots/sets or not. If you do you'll probs wanna start off with the main places you'll use that're full of personality, like a main characters house or place of work etc. you can always download some neat lots and edit them to your liking if you're not a builder, or maybe even download a whole save file!

Start a character page (or make an intro post for em if you can't be arsed with the technicalities) - not essential but useful for you and the readers to keep track of who's who and maybe state a few facts about them etc.

Start collecting some poses and ideally rename them so they're easy to find! I personally like to add smth like [PETS] or [KISSING] etc to mine (in s4s) in conjunction with twistedmexi's pose finder to make things easier to grab.

If you use reshade/gshade, taking the time to find or create a nice preset will save you a bunch of time editing.

For the love of god if you're gonna make a bunch of extras, try and dress them in maxis clothes/hair.. I'm so SICK of having to redress everyone every time I clear out a bunch of cc skjdksj 🙈 you can always give em an extra, fancy cc outfit for specific scenes on the day but yeah, do yourself a solid where possible to save time/pain in the future. Same goes for lots you don't use often, try and limit the cc you use!

Figure out if you're a planner or not! If you can't manage without a plan it's okay to take some time before starting to figure everything out and get a detailed outline going. If you're more of a pantser (like me!) you can always just get going with a rough idea in mind and see what happens!

If you're gonna go with the flow I'd still recommend creating at least a rough outline, you don't have to stick to it like glue but it'll probs help you stay on track and I wish I'd have done this in the beginning, esp if you're gonna have a plot heavy story.

Characters > plot.. (imo!) like.. you could have a super interesting plot in mind but if no one really knows or cares about your characters it's gonna have a limited impact/amount of interest. They don't even have to be likable lmao

Give your characters some flaws! It's fun and it makes them more relatable.

Start with a small cast - not a complete must but it'll be probably be easier for people to get to know your pixels if they're aren't a million of them right off the bat. You can always add more later.

Try not to shoehorn your characters into situations they wouldn't end up in just to further the plot.. a hard one to explain and mostly based on intuition but if a scene feels boring, out of place or forced, it probably is! aka.. be willing to kill your darlings. Maybe you've already established that your character is poor or smth but have this fun idea of a road trip montage or whatever.. like you can't just give them a car and the money to drive a million miles just cos you HAVE to see that scene y'know? Maybe they're gonna have to hitch hike, get the bus, or take out a loan? Probs a bad example but hopefully you get the idea! It can sometimes be more fun to force your characters into a different situation than you imagined anyway, like maybe they meet someone really neat on the bus and they join the trip, or maybe whoever they borrowed money from gets all pissy when they can't pay em back quick enough etc etc.

Let your characters guide you - sometimes characters talk to us! You could've had a whole storyline planned for them, or a romance of whatever, but when it comes down to it, it just doesn't feel right and that's okay! Let them lead you in a different direction now n' then.

Write for you! (ugh becca stfu with this shit) I know, I know but really.. if you're not having fun, what's the point? Don't write what you think other people want and learn to be okay with cutting ideas/scenes/characters/whatever! that you aren't excited about anymore. It should never feel like a chore to create, and if it starts to feel that way, take a break or change it up!

I feel like this is super rambly and I've missed a million obvious things but my brain is mashed potato rn lmao.. pls feel free to add your own tips in a reblog or a comment - everyone has a different take on things! I think it's really important just to start and see what feels natural tho 🤸‍♀️🧡

Day 25. almost free. almost done.

it is Fake Peppino Friday... but for some reason, the sound of clucking is in the distance? that's strange..... perhaps one of these little Fakelings has something to do with it.

around a nearby town, strange rumors started popping up, about an old abandoned building that had stood vacant for a good few years. but odd sounds had been heard from within, the sounds of hard work, heavy objects being moved, and inhuman, almost cluck-like cries. nobody knew what it could have been, and none were brave enough to investigate. until... one day, out of nowhere, the building appeared somehow cleaner, and a large sign had been hung out at the front, with the bright, colorful words:

CHIK'N PLACE!!!

who was the culprit? well, one step inside this newly refurbished restaurant and you will be greeted by its very enthusiastic owner...

the often-excited, very sociable Poultrino! she started off as all of the other Fakelings, a strange, gooey blob-like creature with hunger and curiosity. but soon after going out into the world on their own, she stumbled across a runaway definitely wild chicken, which she chased after with great interest and then gobbled up with glee. but, the feathery snack awakened a strange feeling in her, such a delicious taste, she wanted to share it with all the world! and thus gave rise to the fifth and final Fakeling...

and now, all customers are happily welcomed at her humble Chik'n Place! there is chicken of all kinds there; chicken wings, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, living chickens, anything you could possibly want, as long as it is chicken! (and all VERY legally obtained, she wouldn't THINK of pilfering chicken from other establishments for her own....) and not to worry, she is very polite and welcoming to anyone who wishes to visit! as long as you are not also a chicken, or a tasty bug or rat.

their appearance and body are quite unique amongst the Fakes as well! and though she is still made out of simple Goop like the others, her "skin" is fairly soft and smooth, almost feeling like soft fuzz despite having no real feathers! her legs, tail, and "fleshy" parts are the same gooeyness as standard Fake Peppino though. despite her strange appearance, most customers assume she's simply in costume, and very few are any the wiser as to their true nature.

though, one more very important fact to mention... you didn't think they worked alone, did you? of course not, all that Chicken isn't going to serve itself! which is why the first person to enter her restaurant was taken happily hired as the first employee!! say hello to Sue, Poultrino's favorite and only employee!! (credit goes to my wonderful friend @plebbicinnabun-arts for coming up with her! 😊✨)

she helps prepare and serve many of the chicken dishes! (and makes sure that the stuff that's served is actually edible when possible...) and not to worry, her boss treats her with great care! she is paid well in a salary of both "human currency" and delicious chicken-based foods! it might just be very strange trying to explain her job to friends and family.

but together, these two help run the Chik'n Place, and Poultrino finds decent success at running a business! her Papa is very proud of her.

Whumpee had some kind of brutal surgery, and has been surviving on nothing but water and IVs for days.

They're so so hungry but they're not allowed to eat yet. The thought of food is plaguing them in their dreams, and when they're awake, their stomach's grumble is a painful reminder that they haven't seen a single crumb of food in four days.

Finally, one day, they see the nurse coming in with a small bowl of soup for them. Whumpee is so relieved and overwhelmed, that they start sobbing. They shakily bring a spoonful to their mouth, immediately getting emotional and teary-eyed again over the delicious taste of soup. Caretaker is sitting nearby, smiling to themselves at their sweet, genuine reaction.
