I love Genya so much. I love his Mohawk, I love that he has a gun, I love how angry he is, I love the way he (spoiler ahead) eats demons, I love his temporary demon character design with the yellow hair and eyes, I love his purple clothes, I love how he's tall, I love how they make him blush like crazy when Mitsuri is around, I love his backstory with his brother (in that it's well written)... I just love Genya. I love his character design and traits and story so much.

— He loves it!! The cute aggression he gets around you can finally be satiated. He’s on cloud nine rolling around with you, trying his damnedest to get you in a headlock just to feel you kick your feet in protest.

— You’ll have to remind him to ease his grip and the strength he uses to toss you around, but he’s a pretty quick study! 

— You’ll really have to try to be able to pin him however, he’s as flexible as he is strong and determined to flip you on your back and proclaim his “inevitable victory” you can imagine his surprise (and heart eyes) when you’re craftier than he anticipated and manage to not only keep up with this enthusiasm but BEAT HIM. 

— Soon as that happens though he’s less interested in fighting and more interested in wrenching his mask off so he can crush his lips to yours.

— You will never be safe after that first time you roughhouse with him, any time he gets that giddy feeling in his chest around you he just pounces. It is kind of your fault for conditioning him to express his affection that way. 

— You may want to explain it to your friends however because Tanjiro is BEYOND confused. You two were having a profound moment why are you wrestling??? 😭 Zenitsu is having a freakout, trying to pry the boar man off you whilst screaming “YOU ANIMAL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO Y/N-CHAN!?” (though once zen’s been briefed he is immensely jealous) 

— Inosuke gets suspicious if you aren’t fighting back with your usual enthusiasm. Are you sick? mad at him? injured? He’ll get restless if you haven’t been in the mood for it lately because what do you mean you don’t want to wrestle??? >:(( don’t u love him???

— Inosuke doesn’t want to actually hurt you, of course, he knows the difference between a cry of delight and one of pain. If you make a sound implying the latter he’ll stop and check-in.

𝐙𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐀

— I’ll be honest he doesn’t really understand it 😭 you’re supposed to be madly in love why do you want to fight? most of your attempts will be one-sided, the most fight you’ll get out of him is playful swatting.

— He’s also easily distracted by physical contact, so the moment you straddle his hips in an attempt to get the upper hand (which you’ll most likely already have, he really doesn’t have the heart to put it up much of a struggle) he’s melting into a puddle, hands coming to your thighs to drum absentmindedly on them—which in turn distracts you. It’s so hard to get mad at him for it too when he peers up at you with that lovestruck puppy look through thick blond lashes.

— Zenitsu definitely prefers a more “aggressive cuddling” approach than actual roughhousing, like tackling the other to the ground for some spirited nuzzling. And maybe some light-hearted games of footsie or lazily shoving at one another’s hands to see who’s stronger.

— Doesn’t help that he’s incredibly horny all the time and pinning him down just makes him feel hot, so now you’ve got that to deal with. 

— Zenitsu loves to play up the drama of it, the back of his hand pressed wistfully to his forehead as if he’s feeling faint as he performatively exclaims “Oh, be gentle with me, Y/n-chan~!“

— That usually gets you to back off with a huff of annoyance and heat in your cheeks, knowing he’d formulated the perfect foil to your cute aggression. The best way to fend you off was to make it weird.

— Putting him in a headlock just means he has an excuse to nuzzle his face against your chest, jostle him too hard and you’ll just make him cry.

— Deep down he thinks it’s a bit endearing, it’s just a love language you don’t share and that’s ok. He’ll let you rough him up, just don’t expect the same treatment. 

— To that end, you’re better off taking out your aggression on demons </3

𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎

— You’ll have to explain it to him for him to wrap his head around it, but he’s pretty open to it! He grew up with many siblings and they liked to playfully wrestle with him sometimes, he just never imagined doing something like that with you! Especially since he’s such a gentle soul and can’t imagine wanting to hurt you in any way.

— He really tries to match your enthusiasm, but all of his playful shoves and swats always end up softer than necessary. 

— Checks in constantly! “That wasn’t too rough was it?” “That didn’t hurt right?” “Ah, did I get carried away? 🥺” like bb calm down you’re doing great.

— Once he’s used to your habits he can’t help but anticipate your next sneak attack, biting his lip to conceal a smile when he notices you ready to pounce from the corner of his eye. You may think you’ve caught him unawares but he often can smell or hear your approach, but he loves to pretend anyways, just to see that triumphant grin on your face when you jump onto his back.

— Oftentimes your playful wrestling is interspersed with gentle touches. You just look so cute when you’re determined and he can’t help but caress your face in the moment <3 (he’s so soft pls i’d be crying)

— Nezuko watches the two of you play a lot and you can tell she wants to join in so sometimes you tag her in to fight at your side!!! Tanjiro is laughing so hard he can hardly breathe, overwhelmed with joy as the two most important people in his life put him through his paces.

— While he definitely prefers to express his affection in softer ways, he learns to love roughhousing with you. He knows that you only do it because you want to be close and because you trust him, and he’s content with that.

𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐉𝐔𝐑𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐊𝐔

— When you first express your desire to play fight all you’ll get is a puzzled tilt of his head in return. He’ll genuinely ask you why, and when instead of explaining you get flustered he is suddenly very intrigued.

“I must confess I do enjoy that expression on your face, little flame!” (If you know you know) he all but announces to half the compound, which has your entire face boiling with embarrassment. Seeing his comment has only extended your distress, his eyes soften fondly. “Take your time.”

The best answer your monkey brain can conjure is “because I love you!” blurted out in a hurry, startling a few nearby birds into flight. No one’s quite as startled as Kyojuro however, whose face is now equally ablaze at your confession.

“And I want to be close to you,” you added, fighting through the early relationship jitters to get your point across. The best way to a healthy relationship is through communication, right? After all, Kyojuro had no right to be so damned cute all the time. It made you want to wrestle him into an embrace every time he said something unintentionally endearing—which was often!

“I think I understand!”

— Honestly, he’s a natural at it. He knows his own strength and how much he can use when tussling with you without causing any real harm. Even if you really wouldn’t mind a few token bruises to remember those silly moments by. 

— He’s a little nervous at first, he did grow up with a brother but Senjuro had always been gentle in his affections towards him. Though as soon as he sees just how much fun you’re having he’s absolutely on board! Enamored when you can’t help but giggle as you’re rolling out of reach, lunging for his sides, and jumping onto his back in an attempt to bring him to the ground.

— Most of the time between efforts of fending off your playful shoving he’s nuzzling against you, trailing kisses wherever he can reach. Laughing heartily along with you as he all too easily weakens you by attacking your sides with incessant tickling until you’re wheezing so hard you can hardly breathe.

— He rarely initiates roughhousing, but he will never deny you. It’s a great way to lift his spirits when he’s feeling down. It’s a rare occurrence, but he appreciates those small gestures the most. Close proximity and your beautiful laugh? What more could he want?

— He now knows your desire to roughhouse is a sign of affection, so he cherishes being able to let loose and play with you. Though most of the time neither of you is concerned about winning. Your playfights all too easily turn into spirited cuddling. (He’s just so loving and I- *sobs*)

— Until you decide to test some newfound strength and surprise him by flipping him flat on his back with his hands pinned to the ground. Now… now it’s different, a different kind of longing in those bright golden eyes you’ve grown to adore. One of blatant heat and desire. He always desires you but especially so when you assert yourself. 

— Does this lead to you desperately rutting against one another and tearing at your clothing? Couldn’t say. (Absolutely)

𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐔𝐙𝐔𝐈

— He thinks it’s adorable that you want to roughhouse with him and will actually encourage you to try! He’s so disrespectful about it though 😭 can hold your attacks at bay with a single hand over your face. Likes to egg you on until you really want to smack him and then acts surprised when you slip out of his grip and head butt his chest full force.

“Why you little…” 

— Now the game is on! Prepare to roll around struggling for the upper hand until he feels he’s put you in your place! Instead of being discouraged by your loss, you’re more determined to win the next round.

— His instincts are razor sharp so don’t think you’ll ever truly get the jump on him with a sneak attack, even when he looks to be none the wiser. He always knows you’re there and foils your plans at the last second :(((

— You can usually get Suma and Makio in on the action and get him rumbling with laughter as you all wrestle in a pile. 

— Hinatsuru prefers to watch with a soft expression as her lovers fight and then crawl into the cuddle pile that follows as the four of you are gasping for breath. Suma always claims a place at your side afterward so she can whisper new schemes into your ear <3 she’s your partner in crime.

— Tengen could likely fend the four of you off all at once if you ever did convince Hina to join, but he loves the triumphant cheers you make when he admits defeat.

— Now if you just so happen to have even greater strength than him? He’s shutting up so fast cus please toss him around and rough him up a bit, I’m telling you he gets off on that shit—especially if you’re being “flashy” about it. Probably goes without saying that your roughhousing often turns into something else.

A small smile appeared on the boys lips as he began slowing his pace before halting, you doing the same. “You can open them, now.” He finally replied, letting go of your hand.

The moment you did open your eyes, you saw a great view of the stars as it was night time. He took you to the top of a hill, a small blanket on the floor at the edge of the hill for both of you to sit comfortably. You already liked him although you did know better than to get your hopes up.

When it comes to talking to you in general, he isn’t nervous at all. But when it comes to the actual confessing part, he becomes nervous. Really nervous.

“Y/n, out of all the people I’ve met so far on my journey, you’ve treated me the kindest and I love you more than anything.” He’ll definitely say it too fast so he’ll have to repeat himself. But when he repeats himself slowly, he definitely stutters more.

˚ʚAgatsuma Zenitsuɞ˚

♡He’s impatient when it comes to confessing. And he can’t at all wait for a perfect moment.

♡And with the way he acts and randomly out of nowhere tells you to marry him, when he actually confesses, you think it’s another one of his attempts to get out of the demon slayer corps.

♡So it’s needless to say you thought his confession wasn’t serious. Especially with when he chose to confess.

Being assigned missions with Zenitsu was something you eventually got used to. But getting assigned missions with him without Inosuke or Tanjiro was new.

Usually, Zenitsu would choose to cling onto Tanjiro’s arm. Although with Tanjiro at the Swordsmith village, he chose to cling to you instead. Which you didn’t exactly mind.

You held the handle of your Katana closely as you heard a demon approaching. With Zenitsu’s hearing, he of course heard the demon just as you did. 

And fearful as he always is, he chose to confess the very moment the demon died in the middle of the town you two were in.

“Y/N! I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE! YOU SAVED ME! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.” He clung onto you in a hug when in reality, he had fallen asleep last moment and beheaded the demon, waking up right after.

When he realized you though the confession he made wasn’t serious, he had to explain again in a less fearful tone while still keeping you in a tight hug.

˚ʚHashibira Inosukeɞ˚

♡When confessing, He sounds completely loud and confident as he always is. Although on the inside he’s nervous. But It’s hard to see.

♡With any means necessary, He won’t let you see that he’s nervous. It’s not like you can tell so in your eyes, it doesn’t really matter too much.

♡He doesn’t really know when a romantic moment is. But he’s also not the type to randomly rush in like Zenitsu whenever he see’s a girl.

You sat on the engawa of the butterfly mansion, still in the uniform you were given when you had first arrived. You were completely bored out of your mind and you couldn’t exactly sleep. You weren’t sleepy and you had too many thoughts running through your head.

Suddenly, a small creak from the wooden floor was heard, making you turn over quickly, only to see Inosuke walking towards you, his boar mask in his hands instead of on his head.

Upon realizing it was just him, you stopped being tense, your body turning the other way once more. Until Inosuke took a seat next to you, making you turn your attention to him again.

Just as you were about to turn your attention back to the moon again, you watched as one of the Onigiri’s in Inosuke’s hands got tossed onto your lap.

“You should be glad I like you enough to share.” He stated before turning the other way while munching on his own Onigiri. If you couldn’t get the hint then he’ll clarify more loudly the next morning.

˚ʚShinazugawa Genyaɞ˚

♡Definitely acts all tough and prideful when confessing but his face is burning and completely red while attempting to make eye contact but failing to do so.

♡He’s really nervous on the inside and the most He can do for a romantic moment is pick some flowers in a nearby field and give them to you. If he does anything more than that, he fears that something will co completely wrong.

♡If you were doing something before he was about to confess, he’ll politely drag you off to a more secluded area before giving you the flowers.

“Kanroji said this was the best thing I could do for you.” He finally spike after a few moments of silence between the both of you.

Finally, Genya looked over at you, watching as you played with the flowers he gave you. “I really like you Y/n.”

♡He’s mostly blunt about it, and if he were nervous, it wouldn’t show. Not even a little bit.

So he Just began to enjoy the Company, ignoring the feeling that he forgot something more important than usual.

‘Oh, right.’ Muichiro’s head fell to the left to look at you. His eyes Soon drifted down to your hand. Before he knew it himself, he intertwined his pinky finger with yours, making you turn your head over to him with a confused expression on your face.

• He confessed his feelings first, but it was kinda weird because he just said “I like you. You are mine now!!” And the rest is just history.

• When he comes home, he would bring food and eat it with you. He also would tell you everything about the mission (and maybe exaggerates about some little details, but it’s funny tbh)

• Red flag? He doesn’t know how to express his feeling very well. He knows he’s a tough guy and doesn’t know how to be a perfect boyfriend, but he tries for you.

• You two always end your fights with a forehead kiss and go to sleep. Fighting is really tiring indeed.

• Green flag? He’s open to everything and want to learn more and more, and I have the feeling that he cooks very well.

• He can’t see himself with somebody else. He just imagines a life with you and that’s how it would be.

Zenitsu:

• Oh boy….

• It’s pretty obvious who confessed first, isn’t it?

• You were so tired of hearing him that you just kissed him in response. (He passed out for a couple of minutes).

• He loves gifting you flowers. Every single flower in the village is on your bedroom. It smells amazing so you don’t complain.

• Red flag? He would do anything to please you. Even silly things that you said as a joke. You have to remind him that you’re not perfect and you also make mistakes.

• Green flag? Even though he’s a chicken, he transforms himself into a hero when you’re in trouble. And he always improves your self-steem when feeling lonely.

• He really makes your days better. You used to be a lonely person but now you have someone literally screaming “Why so pretty??? I can’t take it anymore”

• He wouldn’t write you letters. He tried really hard but cried everytime. Zenitsu can’t spend a whole week without you. It’s the most annoying person in the world.

Single Dad Michikatsu Snippet

A small Snippet based on my single dad Michikatsu headcannons.

The day was bright and beautiful as the mid-day light fell through the window and grazed over the few patrons still in the small cafe you worked at. The murmuring hums of light talk, generic elevator like music, and the occasional care passing by outside. It combined with the sounds from the kitchen. Clinking dishes, utilities, and the occasional shout of an order ready to be served. Relatively peaceful and normal day for you.

You smiled from your place behind the counter happily handing a woman her order of a donut and way too sweet frappe when the door opened and the most unusual sight came walking in-

"There's no dam way you saw a ghost let alone drop kick it!"

"We did so! The academy's haunted and we saw the old man ghost! I kicked it and then all these little ghosts popped out of it!"

You and everyone else still in the small cafe had stopped what they were doing to look up and over at the yelling. The tallest man you've ever seen had walked in through the door jingling the doorbell above as he did. You couldn't help but look at him and the menagerie surrounding him. 

The man was tall, at least six foot something, and was adorned with long mahogany hair he wore in a long ponytail draped down his back except for the long bangs framing his tired but stoic expression. The dark purple eyes looked like he was done for the day and visibly you could see bags under his eyes. He looked mid to late twenties at most. But that wasn't the unusual thing about him. It was the amount of children that surrounded him.

"You wouldn't know what a real ghost is if it was right in front of your face!," yelled out a teen boy. His black wild hair and scowl reminded you instantly of a feral cat. Why he couldn't have been older than eighteen or nineteen years old. "It was probably just someone pulling a prank because you're so dam gullible!"

"WE ARE NOT!!," two voices shouted as one. Both boys were obvious twins. They looked exactly alike with long strangely colored hair and turquoise eyes. Both looked thirteen maybe fourteen years old?

The one on the right pointed at him. "Tanjiro was there with us when it happened! You can ask him!"

The black haired teen scoffed crossing his arms with a sneer. "Tch. All of you are dumb if you believe that stuff. Is the ghost that haunts the art room real too then?"

"Yeah! We saw him crawl out of his vase!"

That earnt another round of arguing as you blinked at the sight before realizing that the tall man had stopped walking and stood right in front of your cashier. However your gaze didnt go to him at first but instead to his torso as you noticed a tiny pair of eyes blinking at you. The eyes were of an infant and they were currently drinking from a bottle held to their mouth by a large hand. You blinked at the tiny innocent eyes strapped to his torso..Before you slowly looked up. Once again stopping at a second pair of tiny eyes belonging to a toddler with black hair pulled up into a small ponytail. Why he couldn't have been older than four as he was held on the man's hip. Without even acknowledging you he turned and tugged on the man's shirt.

"Daddy!," he shouted pointing his other hand at the menu board behind your head stapled to the wall. "Nuggets! Nuggets!"

"Uh..." You finally looked straight up at the man's face and jumped finally realizing he was staring at you....Quickly you shook your head and smiled at him in perfect customer service form. "Hello, Sir. What can I get you?"

The man didn't say anything at first continuing to listen to the teenagers arguing behind him and the toddler tugging for his attention in deep thought for a long moment deciding what to say.

"....Give me a cup of your strongest coffee."

How does main trio view Douma and via verse. Especially Inosuke.

Zenitsu is terrified of him. His heart sounds off and his voice is too perfect and he almost killed his friend. Now he's just hanging around a hashira??? What the heck is wrong with everyone??? Why aren't they doing anything???

Tanjiro does not like him because after Gyokko and Hantengu died, Douma had tried to finish the mission himself which meant he ended up fighting him, Genya and Nezuko (and leaving Muichiro to die to Gyokko's poison). The only reason they survived was because Douma found them interesting and dragged the fight out until Mitsuri arrived and they fought instead. Tanjiro would very much like to headbutt Douma a few times before he considers them even. He still has reservations about having Douma anywhere near humans.

Inosuke recognizes him as a strong person to fight - but Douma is uninterested in fighting him. He also doesn't like him for the state he left Tanjiro and the others in. Doesn't see a point to him being there and when he remembers his existence he thinks they should kill him. He's super annoying and makes his fur stand on end when he catches him staring at him sometimes.

Douma wants to poke at Zenitsu because he's so scared of him. He just wants to be friends and Zenitsu's reactions to him are what he thinks most people would find hilarious.

Douma is interested in Tanjiro because Muzan was interested in him. Other than that, he finds him unremarkable. If Tanjiro asked, he would let him headbutt him. For now he just dodges cause he's not sure why Tanjiro does it.

Douma doesn't recognize Inosuke at first and when he does, he remembers Kotoha. He remains interested in Inosuke and how different he is from his mother. Inosuke's desire to fight him kinda drives him off though since he promised Mitsuri he wouldn't get into any scuffles. This also means he doesn't tell anyone he killed his mom - that would definitely cause a scuffle.

You didn't ask but since he did meet them...

Douma thinks Genya is super cool! He's never seen his ability before. He's offered Genya a bite of himself but Genya always yells at him to leave him alone. The big stupid rock man also drives him off a lot. So rude.

Nezuko is also very interesting to him! She's pretty strong for never eating a human. Maybe he can get some tips from her? It'd make being friends with Mitsuri way easier. If only she'd stop growling at him.

He's very surprised Muichiro survived being poisoned. He's also impressed with how strong he is for his age. So sad that being a demon slayer means he's probably gonna die young. Boy does he have a mouth on him though.

Giyuu himself may think he’s trash but you are most certainly not. You’re walking perfection and if he’s going to use the placeholder position of Hashira he’s using it to protect you:

Like Maybe Reader tells the others their backstory and how they met Urokodaki and about Sabito and his Sister. Like Urokodaki is good parent. Shinjuro needs lessons from Urokodaki and Adam. 👍

-Your past is something that you had always had a hard time talking about with others, it was a dark time in your life, even more so when you lost all your friends, or at least most of them, against Muzan and his forces, when you were alive on Earth.

-It was the time before becoming a Hashira that you didn’t like talking to others about, at least until you made friends, true friends, in fellow swordsmen Okita and Susanoo, who both loved your technique with your breathing style, as they had never seen anything like it before.

-You thought they were both weirdos, when you first met them, as they were both begging you to spar with them, after seeing you training. You thought they were picking on you as well, as you believed nobody would be friends with you- that nobody liked you.

-You learned this was false, it was a lie your brain was telling you, trying to make you feel less guilty for the death of your sister and best friend. They did like you- they wanted to spend time with you, they wanted to be friends with you.

-They thought you were odd as well, as you were so stoic at times, but as they got to know the real you, they realized you were just a damaged person, one who had to grow up too quickly, but they never pushed you on your past, other than what you were willing to share about Muzan and those you lost.

-It was a moonlit drinking party when you felt so calm, so at peace. It felt like when you met Tanjiro- everything felt like it was going to be all right.

-When Okita questioned you about your haori, as it was a rather odd pattern, you surprised them both, looking up at the moon above, telling them of Urokodaki, who trained both you and Sabito, who was your best friend.

-You were both training to become Demon Slayer apprentices, and you fully believed that Sabito was the better of the two of you- he was perfect. And then he was killed, taken from you, and you got his spot in the corps, and later becoming a Hashira, “It was never my spot- it was always his.” They could only look at you with sympathy, realizing that you had survivor’s guilt.

-When you told them about your sister, who was going to be married, before she too was killed by a demon, because you weren’t strong enough at the time to deal with it, you told them you always blamed yourself for her death.

-Your haori was a blend of both your sister and Sabito, your reminders of what you failed to do, and what you took.

-Susanoo was about scold you, calling you an idiot as you weren’t at fault for their deaths, but you spoke again, surprising them both, “It was a young boy, who helped me realize it wasn’t my fault- I just made it my fault so I could continue. When I realized it, I felt like they were both there, telling me to live my life now and to not dwell on the past.”

-Okita grinned, bumping his shoulder into your own, “That’s good you realized it. Now you’re here in Valhalla- that proves that you’re a worthy person.” His words were comforting, as you gave him a small smile, thanking him as the three of you toasted your glasses to the moon above.

-You decided, the following morning as you were extremely hungover, that you were never going to drink with them again.

kei didn’t want to be at the party in the first place. he has been a more introverted kind of person throughout his whole life, and changing it wasn’t even a thing in his mind. but you asked him to be there. and there was nothing that could make tsukishima refuse you. you were the only one occupying the boy’s brain all the time anyway.

so when he agreed to your idea, you promised to send him the address and smiled delightedly. it would be your first social event since you started dating a few weeks ago. and since you two attended different schools, no one besides yamaguchi and kageyama knew.

it was definitely a sweet thing, enjoying each other’s presence without being forced to hear mean comments how you two didn’t fit together or something else that would’ve just got on your nerves and the boy would have to calm you before you threw hands on someone.

before tsukishima got to the house of your classmate, you had already been there, dropped off by your mom, who wanted to be sure of your location. a quick promise to be walked home by someone was said and you were free, waiting on your boyfriend.

the house was filled with seijoh students from different years and classes. you could recognize most of them, as you weren’t really someone new there. tōru oikawa, the school’s star, standing next to matsukawa and hamaki somewhere nearby the staircase, tanjiro from the basketball team was talking to a girl from a year above while a third year was talking to someone you couldn’t see.

the heavy scent of alcohol mixed with smoke itched your nostrils, and you grimaced as you entered the kitchen, accidentally bumping into someone.

“hey, you’re alright?” a familiar voice spoke out, his hands on your arms to prevent you from falling. “l/n-san, nice to see you here.” with that words said, you realized it was iwaizumi hajime who you were talking to.

“don’t say you didn’t expect me to be here, iwaizumi-san.” you laughed, moving to be closer to the counter, pouring yourself a drink. you could feel his eyes tracing around your body, as if the ace tried to remember your curves like it was the last time you see each other. unfortunately for iwaizumi, you were too oblivious to catch a sign. “what you’re looking at?”

“uh-” he stuttered, flushing like a tomato. “your dress. it brings out your curves, you look gorgeous.” hajime added after a minute, bringing his eyes up to your face.

you looked more than just gorgeous, you looked ethereal. with the perfect, black eyeliner on your eyelids with an eyeshadow that fitted your eye colour. and oh my god the dress. you wore a tight, backless, black dress with a split on your left thigh (your mom wasn’t too pleased about it tho).

it was the first time you dressed like that to a friday party, always wearing cargo pants and tank tops with a zipper hoodie you once stole from tobio. your boyfriend was the reason why you dressed like that, you wanted to see him breathless, happy having a girlfriend that hot.

“thank you.” a soft smile spread over your mouth as you took a sip of your drink. “is there any occasion? wanna catch somebody’s eye?” the boy asked, his eyes not leaving your lips.

“actually… yes.” you laughed at the sound of your reply, and leaned your back on the counter behind you. iwaizumi swore he could feel his heart skip a beat upon hearing your words. he knew you had a long time crush on him in the junior high, and now he felt like the heavens finally gave him a chance.

“hey, uh. i’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while now.” he began, getting a little closer to you. “wouldn’t you like to go out somewhere next sunday? like on a date.”

that’s when you connected the dots and froze. he thought you were talking about him. out of all people, it had to be hajime that you bumped in. gosh. you chugged down your drink before revealing you’re in a happy relationship, but eventually it wasn’t you who said that.

“maybe in two weeks? she’s already going out with her boyfriend on that sunday.” kei, who walked to the two of you out of sudden, remarked harshly, wrapping an arm around your waist. pulling you away from the ace, gently but swiftly.

“oh.” was the only thing that came from hajime.

tsukishima didn’t need to hear any more, pushing the respect for his seniors aside in his mind, he took your hand in his and walked out of the kitchen. and when normally he wasn’t the one to show any affection in public, then that day was an exception. maybe for the extreme jealousy he felt rushing in his veins when he noticed you with hajime and especially after hearing how he tried to ask you out.

and before you could even realize, his lips crushed into yours passionately. in public, so everyone from your school could see it and not hit on you anymore. after a few moments, you would just drag your boyfriend into an empty room, right. a rush of adrenaline must have got to him when he sat you down on a drawer, so the kisses would be more comfortable for both of you since the height difference.

he pulled away for a second, cupping your cheek with his hand and aside from melting under his soft touch, you melted even more after seeing how kei smiled at you. “you don’t even know how much i love you.” he empathized. “i don’t even know if i ever felt something like that towards anyone else. if someone ever had me choosing between something and you, i’d always choose you.”

tsukishima’s words destroyed you. it wasn’t anything bad, obviously, but it was the third time he spoke up about his feelings towards you, the first happened when you misunderstood his intention and thought of your first-date as a casual, friends hangout, the second when he confessed he likes you in a way he doesn’t like anyone else and now… he dropped the L-bomb. your boyfriend has never been the type of someone who’s fond of his words, and expressing emotions was hard for him as well. you felt your eyes watering, and thank god that you chose waterproof mascara.

“did i say something wrong…?” he was confused by your reaction, he knew you so well, yet he couldn’t tell why his girlfriend was crying in the first place. you immediately shook your head and by pulling in the fabric of his collar, you kissed him again. hands on the back of his neck, rubbing it gently, while his wandered around the length of your thighs.

“i love you” you spoke out as he pressed his forehead to yours. you could feel his body loosen up upon hearing your confession. “and there’s never gonna be anyone better for me than you.”

“next thing, me, you in that dress and a dinner at my house together on sunday?” he smiled at you, caressing soft circles on your leg. “and then afterwards, me, you in my hoodie and whatever movie you wanna watch.”

“i don’t know if i’m free, baby. gotta stand in line.” you chuckled as tsukishima rolled his eyes. “hmm, but if you say i get to keep the hoodie, then i can cancel some guys.”

A/N: i know i just disappeared but I'm back I've just been really busy and i've been helping my sister with the writing part of her comic but i thought id come back with some angst/no comfort. after this ill post some fluff promise!

it was a beautiful day when he met you, it was sunny and a rainstorm had just passed the day before leaving a clear sky. it was nearing the end of october and winter was right around the corner maki9ng this the perfect day to sell charcoal before it got to cold.

tanjiro hiked down the mountain with his basket filled to the brim with charcoal ready to be sold. he was busy trying not to trip when heading down the creek until a overwhelming sweet scent entered his nose and he felt himself being toppled over into the water.

"oh crap i'm sososorry!" you said standing from the deep water to offer him a hand.

"are you hurt?" you asked as he just stared up at you in a daze.

to tanjiro it felt like a angel had fallen out of the sky rather than a clumsy teen who got lost in a forest, got scared, and accidentaly ran into a poor helpless boy.

"uh, are you good?" you asked again as he realized he was staring and snapped out of it. "i apologize i not hurt, thank you!" he said as he took your hand to stand. "don't apologize this is 100% my fault, i should've been watching where i was going" you said bowing at a perfect 50 degree angle as he sweat dropped.

"really its fine im not hurt at all" he said letting out a reassuring laugh as the tips of your ears turned red. "if there's anything i can do to apologize please let me know!" you yelled in embarrassment your entire face red.

"then can you tell me your name?" he asked offering his hand.

"huh? thats it? youre not gonna sell me to the cartel or anything right" you said exclaiming with your hands as he let out a laugh. "no i wouldnt" he said giving you a bright beaming smile.

"okay! ____ ______, im pleased to meet you!" you said taking his hand in yours. "tanjiro kamado, its nice to meet you too" he said a small blush spreading to his cheeks.

from that day forward a relationship like no other had blossomed.

tanjiro couldn't explain it but every time he was around you he got this fuzzy feeling in his stomach, he felt as if he was in complete and utter safety around you.

from the way you smiled, to the way you joked. he loved everything, he loved how your ears turned red when you were embarrassed. or how when you were angry you would turn a light shade of pink, the jokes you told.

he couldn't understand most of them but the way you would mutter them again to yourself and laugh had him smiling in pure joy.

he almost felt free around you.

sure he loved his family, but sometimes the pressure of being the oldest and breadwinner really put a lot on his shoulders. yet up until this point, he couldn't do much.

but when you came into his life you would pat him on the head, tell him good job when he completed something, always asking him how his day was going. tanjiro was so used to just bottling everything down that when he had someone who was constantly think of him, and only him he began to cry.

"tan tan, i don't know you get this alot but im really proud of you" you said as you played with his hair as you two sat on a tree trunk on the edge of the creek you two first met.

you continued even as you felt his shoulders stiffen a bit. "the way you're always there for your siblings and how you're always so kind is something i don't think i'd be able to do." you giggled. "sometimes i wonder if people ever let you know how much you mean to them, so i'm letting you know right now" you smiled as you wrapped your arms around his waist and placed your chin on his shoulder.

your eyes softened as the small tears trailed down his cheeks as you brought a hand to wipe them away.

"tanjiro kamado thank you for being such a bright star in this cruel world"

that was the night he confessed, where he told you how much he loved you, and to his shock, you loved him too.

the two of you were official, he had spent a small fortune on finding you the perfect ring, the best ring. and that's what he confessed with.

and finally it was the day for you to meet his family.

he had told you stories. on how takeo would get angry when he wasn't included in things. how shigeru and hanako would get into fights but forget about them within a minute. how rokuta was just now taking his first few steps and how his speech was increasing. and how nezuko was always helping out but also being a sense of comfort to all. and how even tho she was all alone his mother took care of most of the household even while sick.

from everything you had heard his family was absolutely lovely. and you hoped they would find you the same way.

and luckily, they adored you.

as soon as you walked through the door shigeru and hanako ran up to you and grabbed you by the legs excitedly asking if you were the person tanjiro was going to marry.

the entire day had gone by smoothly up until dinner time.

you sat next to tanjiro with baby rokuta in your lap after he refused to be let go, he weirdly grew fond of you quickly; not that you were complaining he was absolutely adorable. his mother was at your other side and nezuko, takeo, shigeru, and hanako where infront of you four.

"so ____" kie called out causing you to look up from baby rokuta who was babbling words you were trying to understand. "yes okasan?" you asked as she turned to face you. "do you like kids?" she asked with a smile as rokuta continued to play with your un occupied hand.

"uh huh! in the village i was from before i came here i helped out at a nursery so i gained a bit of experience in caring and bonding with children" you said as baby rokuta looked up to you with a innocent baby look before breaking out into a fit of giggles.

a chorus of 'aww's went around the room as the baby happily babbled away.

"i hope you and tanjiro give me some grandbabies soon seeing as this one is already growing to fast" kei said out loud causing a angry red blush to spread to both you and tanjiros cheeks as both kei and nezuko laughed leaving the other two children confused.

"m-mom!" tanjiro stuttered the blush deepening as she continued laughing.

oh such happy memories.

sadly, you and tanjiro wouldn't be able to make more.

that night you had stayed over and were going to leave 3 days from then, sadly that would never happen.

the day after returning home from selling charcoal tanjiro sped up at the smell of blood.

the smell of blood, coming from his home.

a massacre had happened.

kei and hanako laid against the door frame to the kitchen eyes closed, pale faces covered in blood.

shigeru and takeo lying motionless on the floor eyes stuck open in terror. and in the entrance door frame layed nezuko, rokuta, and you.

all presumably dead.

the only one who lived was nezuko, yet his sister became a demon. the very thing that had killed his family and the love of his life.

"Muzan Kibutsuji! No matter where you go, you're not getting away! I'll follow you to the ends of Hell, and I swear I'll slice your head with my blade! I'll never forgive you no matter what!"

and he never will.

muzan kibutsujii will pay, for taking his past and present. but also for taking his future.

that night before he left he remembered the conversation you two had.

"hey tantan" you said sitting on the futon beside his, his mother had provided you with as you ran the brush through your hair.

"yes ____?" he asked with that sweet and kind voice looking up at you with his soft red eyes full of love and adoration.

"have you ever heard of demons?" you asked pressing your finger against your lips as if you were telling a secret. "demons?" he was confused why were you bringing this up?

"yeah like scary man eaters" you said emphasizing your point by putting your fingers against your head like devil horns,

with a laugh he grabbed your hands and pulled them down to hold them in his.

"no i haven't, why?" he asked curious as to why you would ask.

"no reason, i just heard they're sUper scary" you said emphasizing on the u in super.

"well you don't have to worry because demons arent real, and even if they were..." he trailed off a small blush covering his cheeks as he looked up into your eyes. "..i would make sure to protect you and make sure you didn't get hurt.: he mumbled shyly as you stared at him in awa before you smiled.

"i know!"

"god ____, i'm so sorry" he whispered small tears falling, yet this time there was no one to wipe them.

Soulmate au

Except people don't give a sh*t who's their soulmate anymore when they found out loving someone without the same mark or the red string leading to their supposed other half, isn't that bad at all. And so people fell in love with the freedom of not feeling the pressure of finding their soulmate soon and loving whoever they wish without having to abandon them for someone they never met.

Imagine the yandere being the most loneliest person out there and his only hope for companionship was his soulmate, only to find out reader is one of those people who chose to defy fate and is happily in a loving relationship with someone else.

Ohmygod that's so sad but I can picture this so much with the sweeter, yet unpopular-in-their-world characters like Deku or even Tanjiro.

In this world, it's celebrated to not care about your soulmate, but to one boy, it was his only chance to have someone that loved him.

He was bullied as a child, seen as something to look down upon. Trampled under his classmates' and, later, co-workers' feet. A pitiful fool to take advantage of. He had not one friend to call his own.

But he had a soulmate mark.

It was the one thing that kept him together, kept him alive. Just knowing that there was someone out there that was perfect for him. Surely, they also looked down at their mark and hoped to meet him one day too!

Then, he finds his perfect match and he's drunk on excitement, cloud nine being too low to explain his elation. But you're pulling away, shaking your head, looking uncomfortable.

"I don't believe in all that soulmate stuff, sorry. It's better to choose. And I already chose someone else."

His heart shatters into pieces as you leave him there. Alone, like he always was.

But he picks up the shards of his heart and follows after you. Watches you. Waits for the perfect time to strike.

Tama-Chan! If you had to rate the Hashira from least threatening, who would be your most frightening ler?

In my personal opinion, in solo, it would have to be Gyomei, but a certain trio would be the scariest for lers, Mitsuri, Tengen, and Rengoku!

I could see Mitsuri having this teasy love for how ticklish the Lee is, Rengoku giving motivational quotes to persevere through it and Tengen stating how flashy the laughter of their prey is.

Though least threatening Hashira? Possibly Giyuu, poor boy is probably the most ticklish to even attack.

i love your thoughts ahhh esp of rengoku °₊·ˈ∗♡( ˃̶᷇ ‧̫ ˂̶᷆ )♡∗ˈ‧₊° personally i have always found tengen to be the most frightening ler, BUT with the recent gyomei backstory stuff and considering his physical strength, agility and general power, i am starting to lean more towards him haha |๑˃ ॢ‧̫˂ॢ๑ ).*˚‧♡ growing up as the elected older sibling of so many orphans, it is definitely expected that he would be seasoned in tickled fights and know a technique or too lol. and of course with his quick thinking and honed strength… it would be an execution for sure (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ i would not dare imagine the consequences of challenging him upfront. although i can definitely imagine inosuke making that mistake, and winding up a tickle-destroyed puddle on the ground aha <3

tengen-kun also has always seemed a frightening ler to me, mostly due to his teasing personality and love for taking others down in a showy way lol. also just so many scenes that directly gave me ler vibes lol (like the hashira training arc ofc). and he is with three beautiful girls all the time, i mean… come on (눈_눈)

mitsuri is big brain as a ler too even if i constantly lee her lol ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)˚๐*˟ ♡ since she is so aggressively affectionate lol. she def tickles everyone she becomes friends w at least once; it is one of her fav ways of showing affection <3 but she is always really gentle and lovey with it so i just cannot classify her as scary haha.

and rengoku would surely be a formidable ler, i mean big strong man with playful tendencies is always a dangerous combo lol (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) i love your thought of him being encouraging while rocking someone’s shit lol. i also feel like he would be the type to accidentally go overboard too haha but he means no harm; honestly even cuter idea, if he is with someone he is close with, he will even have them guide his hands to help him tickle gentler (๑ˊ͈ ॢꇴ ˋ͈)〜♡॰ॱ cute cute

honestly sanemi can be a scary ler too, it is just rare for him to tickle someone. buuut with genya ?? absolutely lol and ofc this only really applied well with like a happy ending au but imagining sanemi waking up his stubborn sleepy brother with merciless tickles is way cute haha, like you can just picture sanemi-kun’s super mean and scary face while laying into genya’s sides with the most playful of tickling (๑॔˃̶ॢ◟◞ ˂̶ॢ๑॓)♡

and shinobu i mean. she has got to be a top ler for me haha (｡・//ε//・｡) and anyone who knows her character even a little bit will know what i mean haha. a soft-spoken dainty girl with secret anger issues, giving her kind of a yandere personality, which imo is a perfect ler recipe haha. it is also canon that a lot of characters that are at least a little afraid of her (even tougher characters lol) and she never holds back when it comes to vengeance. i have drawn her ler-ing a few different times so my stance on her may be obvious lol

and yes, of course muichiro, obanai and giyuu are about as intimidating as a mouse haha; muichiro is so refrained and aloof he surely does not have much experience aha, i think even if he were to attempt (like at tanjiro) it would be very timid and awkward like “am i doing this right..?” hehe ꉂ (′̤ॢ∀ ू‵̤๑))ˉ̞̭♡ and then obanai would never dare haha i could not even imagine. maaaaybe with mitsuri but it would definitely be a gentle scribble or quick goose at most. i could only attest that to his harsh upbringing, which makes him wary of intimacy (๑•́₋•̩̥̀๑) but i should not dampen the mood with angst aha.

and then giyuu you are 100% about hehe my sweet introvert boy (º̩̩́⌣º̩̩̀ʃƪ) he would get flustered as hell trying to tickle anyone hahaha. way too much playfulness for him he just is not used to it hehe  ♡(˃͈ દ ˂͈ ༶ ) and even if he could, any attempt at anyone with a modicum of retaliation tendencies would be instant death for him haha, the poor ticklish thing. he is definitely easy to overwhelm too, whether it be teasing or tickling <3 hang in there, giyuu-kun !!!

anyways, those are my detailed thoughts, but if i had to make a general list of most to least scary hashira lers, it would probably go:

Opinion on Michikatsu/Koku?

I find him funny because of his grandpa old ass. Always reminisce of the “ah when i was your age” or “back in my old days” but anyways… He could’ve more potential in the series. Was disappointed that he did not meet Tanjiro and all that. I don’t like the way he looks at Yoriichi while my boy did no do wrong against him. He’s too blind by his jealousy and power and in the end he achieved nothing. Kind of sad. At least he has some sort of honor and respects hierarchy or something. He’s quite dangerous since he’s too loyal to Muzan. I don’t like the way he hated Yoriichi for nothing and the way he left his wife and kids. He’s sort of ungrateful for life giving him a sliver of happiness what other people wanted, but happiness is subjective and his is yearning to become perfect and strong.

If i were to be honest, out of all characters I actually kin the most in KNY is him. Jealousy over people with talent. Hardwork does pay off however it would never be enough, nothing is enough and i would do anything to try to match that same level over the person I am jealous with, even if it means destroying myself. But i would realize it too late that I became hideous and would regret everything and question why am i even born. It actually hit me in the feels. I sometimes don’t like Kokushibo bc sometimes i see myself in him bc if his past. I also felt when he was beaten up for doing the things he’s not allowed, i felt the pressure of trying to follow the footsteps of your parents, i also felt the responsibilities of being an older sibling. I also had this contradicting love and hatred towards my younger sibling just like how he is. I kin Kokushibo man can’t wait for his scenes in the Infinity Castle arc.
