Okay, so I found a "self-defense with a deer" meme and instantly thought that this is the most Falmer meme I've ever seen. And while Aeola exists also in our Dark Brotherhood RP, I wanted to draw something chaotic so now she is teaching other assassins Falmeri combat techniques which were used by paladins of Auriel back in the First Era. We were cackling like seagulls with asthma during the whole drawing process :D

The funniest thing is that at the beginning Aeola was supposed to deal psychological (and physical too, apparently) AOE damage with a deer but at some point we decided that Lucien is much better option. And he is genuinely enjoying it XD

And yes, I'm too lame to draw Aeola's marital tattoo and Nybros's magical tattoos only for the meme's sake so I made it simple.

Also I apparently had a stroke because I didn't notice that Lucien was holding one of the daggers COMPLETELY WRONG right until I made an outline. Still, I just went for it - again, for the meme's sake :D

BODY MEME: List 5 random/unique things about your muses body.

the Joker has gruesome facial scars known as the Glasgow grin aka the Chelsea smile. The scars on his cheeks are different from one another - the one on the right side is longer and smoother than the left one -- jagged and puckered (I HC that it had been stitched badly and reopened several times). There's also a deformed thin V-shaped scar under his bottom lip that he licks often.

his trademark scars aren't the only scars on his body. He's body is a whole war map of scars from knife lacerations, burns and bruises. Some are old and faded and some are fresh. Like the scars right over his jawline -- curtesy of the Batman who surprised him with a set of batarangs flying from his fancy vambrace. The Joker wears that scar proudly like a badge of honor -- a memorable gift from his Bat.

the Joker's eyes are not brown like many could assume. The color of his eyes is something between hazel, olive and chartreuse, especially if he is exposed to the sun or a bright light. However, Joker's eyes darken significantly when he is annoyed, angry or completely pissed.

the Joker has dark circles under his eyes. Partly because the black paint he wears all over his eyes so often is soaked into the upper layers of skin around them like tattoo ink and it just won't come off. The other reason that the Joker rarely sleeps in general. He can operate without sleeping for five days in a row and on the sixth day his body would just randomly crash out like a phone or laptop without a charger. Normal and regular 8-hour sleep? Nope, never heard of her.

Joker's yellowed teeth never go unnoticed each time he stretches his mouth. Some might think he's a die-hard smoker or never heard of a toothbrush. He does smoke on occasion and he does brush his teeth when he feels like it but maintaining his hygiene is never a priority for him like it is for a regular person. There are just so many more important and entertaining things to do!

What’s the significance behind your Tav’s name?

Bernadine is Russian for "bear", and she's a Circle of the Moon Druid! It's actually a happy coincidence. She's an OC I've taken from fandom to fandom and used in other RP's-- first Team Fortress 2 (she was a RED Medic), then Pathfinder (she was an Alchemist/Chiurgeon). I always give her a class with healing capabilities as a nod to where she began, and Alchemist wasn't available in BG3, with Druid having the closest skill set to it.

Does your Tav have a last name? Is there a meaning behind it?

Schwartz, German for "black". She was a mad scientist in her first incarnation, and I've kept some of those aspects in her later incarnations (as a Druid, she has a soft spot for spiders & bats, thinking they're important parts of the ecosystem, & she knows how to craft/recognize various poisons.

What is your Tav’s go-to comfort food?

I don't know if the lore is the same in D&D as it is for Pathfinder, but in Pathfinder, Wood Elves are typically vegetarians. But Bernadine is pragmatic, and I'd imagine (if BG3 would let me) she'd Wild Shape into bear form and catch venison and fish for the team if they were low on camp supplies.

She has a sweet tooth (her eyes light up at the mention of pastries), and likes a good mug of Dwarven mead, too.

Does your Tav have any tattoos or scars? Why?

Her hands are lightly scarred from playing with her dad's chemistry set when she was a kid-- the same accident that bleached a lock of her hair.

What is your Tav’s main color palette? Why do they choose those colors?

Green/Gold/Brown, since she lives in the forest. She's not super religious, but reveres the Oakfather and the idea of all species being integral to the ecosystem (including vampires).

Where are they from? What was home like?

[tw: bullying] She was born in the Evereska/Forgotten Forest area to a Human mother and a Wood Elf father, but moved to Baldur's Gate because of her fathers' alchemical job. She went to school there and lived there her entire life, never really fitting in at school (between being socially awkward and having weird interests, like creepy-crawly animals and gross plants). She had no friends, and was bullied relentlessly by a small group of kids. The other kids were too afraid to stand up for her, and she could never understand why the bullies hated her so much. She tried ignoring them, bargaining with them, offering them home-made potions as a bribe, nothing worked. One day, she snapped. She'd been studying Druidic magic in private, Wild Shaped into a cat, and clawed the ringleader of the bullies in the face. This only made her reputation worse, and her parents (who did love her, and were not bad people) didn't get why she couldn't "just get along" with the other kids. Bernadine wasn't sure how to make other people like her. She wasn't intentionally malicious or anything, but she felt like she had no one to turn to. So she kept Wild Shaping as an excuse to just be by herself, until one day she was grabbed by an errant Mind Flayer. I wanted to write her as a person who wasn't entirely comfortable being the main character, would prefer to be a background NPC who lets someone else take charge, and is struggling with that.

She's still in the part of her trauma where she sees herself as the villain of her own story on a redemption arc to not treat others like she was treated. She's still trying to figure out what she "did wrong" or "did to deserve" being ostracized, while being very aware nobody else in her party deserved their treatment. If she were an NPC, ironically, I'm not sure how her plot line would work in a video game, as her struggle is very internal. She'd get along with Dark Urge in some respects if they were to ever meet, I think.

Is your Tav more likely to fight/flight/freeze/fawn?

She's very much a freeze. Social situations are not her forte, which is why she admires Astarion, and wants to emulate his positive traits, as much as she loves him. Before she really knew him, her idea of him was this very cool, debonair person who was never nervous around people-- which got shattered very quickly. She pursued him thinking he was her opposite, everything she wanted to be, only for them to truly bond because of their similarities, ironically enough.

What do they do for fun, when not adventuring? What are their hobbies?

She wants the kind of house Thom Yorke sings about in "No Surprises"-- a little house with a little garden. Just a place to plant herbs, with a table for her chemistry set. A place to read all the books she's hoarded. In her "main canon", she had a dog and a horse, and I'd imagine she'd be a doting pet mama here too (and/or maybe an actual mom, depending on whether Astarion is willing to adopt).

Do they have any enemies outside of the main plot? Any friends?

I'm not sure if I'd even count her childhood bullies as enemies, per se. They may have even forgotten Bernadine ever existed, and moved onto being shitheads to other people in their lives. The only way Bernadine would take revenge on them is if they became Cazador-level abusive shitheads that had moved beyond just namecalling and punching other kids in the face.

Where/with whom do they feel safest?

Astarion, weirdly enough-- he had all these chances to stab or rob her, and didn't, and that earned her respect in a way. She cares about the whole team, and while Astarion is the only one she has romantic/sexual feelings for, she has strong platonic, protective feelings for everyone else. Maybe Gale and Shadowheart, since Shadowheart/Gale/Astarion (aka the Shadow Wizard Money Gang) are my typical party.

What is their MBTI Type?

She's very much an INFP. Mom friend who bottles up her own worries, trying to fix other peoples' problems and putting her own on the side until they explode.

Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual, but functionally gay. Because I write Reeve as being Cetra (I feel the need to link this every time I mention it because it's such a wild-ass take that any time I don't, I have confused people messaging me), he's basically extremely paranoid about sexual situations that could end in children. Especially since his mother is always trying to set him up on dates (and he's half-wondering if she's trying to arrange for him to produce more little part-Cetran babies) and the President is always setting him up on blind dates (I have a whole headcanon about this, but basically, Reeve's concerned that President knows).

So with him being so paranoid about it, he just... doesn't have sex with women. Ever. It's much safer that way.

Gender Headcanon: Cis man. Although, that said, I used to RP as girl!Reeve, and that was fun as hell.

A ship I have with said character: HAHAHAHAHA. All of them.

A BROTP I have with said character: No matter what I'm doing, if Reeve and Tseng aren't an active couple, then they're best friends. I just. I love the two of them together, especially with all the potential angst between them with their secrets and everything. It's just wonderful.

A NOTP I have with said character: I think the closest thing I really have to a NOTP is probably Reeve/Hojo, but that's a holdover from an old RP partner who uh... we did some pretty dark stuff with that. Like, I can see it, but man, it is fucked up. Especially with my Reeve in particular.

A random headcanon: Hm... I've already talked about Reeve being a Cetra and Reeve being an Inspire... Here, since I went light on the ship descriptions this time, have a small handful of random headcanons instead:

I would say my biggest "obscure" headcanon is that Reeve lives in a 3,000 sq foot custom-built penthouse in Upper Eight.  And yes, I have a floorplan.  One day, I'll do some drawings of the rooms.

Reeve’s blood type is type O negative.

Reeve requires every single Urban Dev employee to wear a carbon bangle with Restore, Ice, and Lightning materia equipped.  They’re also required to annually attend a training known as “Materia Camp,” to ensure they’re comfortable with the basic use.  This is because Urban Dev employees are, statistically speaking, the most likely to be first-on-the-scene of any sort of emergency situation.

Reeve has three small tattoos along his spine.  They’re three Wutaian characters in a straight line, each character a few inches from the previous one, and from top to bottom, they read: Courage, Inspiration, and Resilience.  They’re the same characters his father wrote in the front of each of his sketchbooks.

General Opinion over said character: My babygirl. Look. Reeve is my angel and ... yeah, I'd say he is probably my favorite character in the game.

Also i know im dragging this on too long but i like that he's not really aggressive. Most of the time. He's very polite and calm. He doesn't swear, he rarely raises his voice, he stays cordial unless someone's testing him first etc. In a way i think it makes him scarier. He doesn't need to compensate for anything, he expects you to know your place regardless. Its like being in a room with a hungry 14ft shark that's insisting it's not gonna bite you in a calm tone while grinning the whole time. God forbid he tells you your horns look unique.

dogs or cats: dogs. they haven't had the chance to meet a cat 😭 but even if they did, i imagine they'd be a dog person solely bc of dogmeat.

dream trip: i would say space but... they did that. and it was hell (shoutout mothership zeta; forever one of my top dlcs ever). they'd probably just like to go anywhere! there's a big world out there that they've been so sheltered from, and everything they've seen so far has been so fascinating.

In order of who im (SADLY) Hyperfixated on, it goes;

* Sasha {Bulleteer Aaron} , in canon she's an ex-boxer that now works at a tattoo parlor and shares an apartment with a demon she summoned while on a wine binge. She's mixed with Russian+Irish+Icelandic+Mexican heritage but grew up mainly with her Irish and Mexican heritage. She's a disaster panace who can't be picky at this point- Sasha just wants someone who she can come home to at the end of the day, and talk to like a normal person. Does she count as a villain? I hope so. She killed a small family in nebraska once. In a story/rp, she used to be the ambassador for a kingdom but settled down as a butcher. She got burn scars from it for being a #girlboss and they stayed canon. * Sydney {Witherstone Appleton} , in canon their a demon that got summoned BY Sasha. She works at a diner, but mainly lives to annoy Sasha by giving her "water curses" and "sleepy spells" which is just him staring at Sasha until she takes care of herself. Notice how Sydney has multiple pronouns! Because in my lil' oc universe- demons don't have genders. Hell is seperate by everyones own depiction and in mine- it's just.. bland. normal. Sometimes the current ruler throws parties, that's fun. You can get a gender if you want, healthcare and stuff is free. ANYWAYS- Sydney is so normal it HURTS me. It just wants to fucking get groceries, pay bills and leave. BTW they commited tax fraud but shhhh we don't have to talk about that. And by "horrors" I mean he grew up (and out of) the orphanage so he has little to no knowledge about his parents, chooses to stay silent/nonverbal throughout his life so his sentence forming SUCKS- he lives is life in a cycle, can barely cook nor fold laundry. To cope though, he knits and likes to sneak into gardens and revive dead/dieing plants via necromancy. BTW he grew up in the same orphanage as Sasha and they have a blood pact. If one gets hurt, so does the other. * The Asker {that's it's name}. Me and my bestie for life have an ask game with eachother, where our ocs ask eachother questions, and that's my silly little guy for it!! Funnily enough, it was based on anon asks, but eventually evolved into it's own thing. It used to live in an empty black void- with bright computer lights illuminating it's small area of safety, and a single keyboard with oh so many letters and such. But RECENTLY, that fuck ESCAPED!!! I am not selective at all! My only rules about who I interact with are that they cannot be minors (less than 18 years old) and that they need to give me something to work with in threads. You can write as many paragraphs as you want, but if you don’t give me something substantial to keep writing with, I cannot continue writing with you.

I would prefer if personals did not interact unless they have a roleplay sideblog, state that clearly in their blog description/pinned post, and (if they have multiple sideblogs) specify which they are intending to roleplay with. Personals are completely free to follow, however!

My memes and open starters are open to everyone, even if we haven’t interacted yet or we already have a thread! I prefer to start threads with memes, though, so please specify if you would like me to write a drabble instead.

I am most active on Saturdays and in the evenings on weekdays. I’m on Pacific Standard Time, and typically sleep at 9 pm and wake up at 10 am (on weekends). I get home from work anytime from 4 to 6 pm on weekdays.

BACKSTORY: At 13 years old, a Hellhound murdered his parents in front of him. That same Hellhound blinded him in his right eye, broke his left horn off, and scarred him all over his body. He spent a year in the hospital, having his wounds treated, learning to see with only one eye, and adjusting to having only one horn. For 3 years after that, he bounced around from orphanage to orphanage before escaping a year before becoming an adult. He tattooed the left side of his face, replaced his left horn with a prosthetic, and dyed half of his hair black. He made a name for himself as a freelance pole dancer and taught himself to use several different weapons. After surviving for several years comfortably, his luck ran out during the Extermination of 2023. He was blinded in his other eye during the process of protecting another demon from an Exorcist, and while he did manage to kill the Exorcist, he is now homeless and struggling with his new predicament.
