Seeley Booth x Little Sister Reader

Warning: Contains Bones Season 3 spoilers. 

 “Oh, this is going to be good.” Tony grinned leaning back into his chair as his green eyes took in the scene of you storming over to Fornell and a familiar looking man with dark hair.

    “I-I can't believe you!” “Both of you!” You hissed your e/c eyes dangerous and dark as you glared at them.

   “Hey Y/N easy!” Your older brother replied calmly as he held up his hands in surrender.

   “Don’t you dare tell me to take it easy!” You snapped.

“How could you not tell me you faked- your- death!” You snapped hitting the man with each new found word.  

   “Okay okay oww… geez, stop hitting me!” Your brother grunted taking a hold of your wrists so you’d stop inflicting blows at him.

   “Don’t touch me! Just let go!” You growled ripping yourself out of Seeley’s grasp.

   “Uncle Tobias was supposed to tell you.” The dark haired man confirmed his eyes flickering over to your Godfather who hadn't said a word since you made your way over to them.

   “I told my men to tell you.” The older man retorted his blue eyes meeting your own sympathetically.

    “Oh… your men! You told your men to tell me!” “Next time you tell me yourself.” You growled glaring at Tobias with a firm gaze.

     “She seems to be taking it well.” Tony whispered to Mcgee and Ziva as he waited to see what you’d do next.

“I’ll bet you five dollars she makes him cry.” “You’re on.” Mcgee whispered knowing just how bad your temper could get.

   “Come on can’t we just call a truce Booth to Booth like in the old days?” Your big brother by three years questioned flashing you those big puppy eyes he was notorious for growing up.

  You opened your arms placing a hand on Seeley’s back before slamming his face down on your desk.

  “What the hell!” The dark haired man yelped as you tightened your hold on the back of his neck.

   “Whab was that for!?” He mumbled which was difficult given all the case files on your desk.

     “If you pull anything like that again… Brennan will be the least of your worries.” “I’m glad she punched you.” You hissed letting go of your brother quickly causing him to smash his face into the desk again.

   “I think that went rather well all things considered.” Fornell mused as he watched you storm into the elevators.

  “Shut up. Just shut up.” Seeley grumbled holding a hand to his bloody nose. 

He knew he’d have to do something pretty special to make it up to you.

Headcannon- in season six Brennan spent a weekend in North Carolina with her brother and his family about a month after Doctor in the Photo. She didn’t talk about it but her brother can read her and does his best to be comforting. And despite herself and despite being sad, she finds herself laughing and smiling amongst the family she never expected to have.

TNT airs a mini #Bones marathon every Friday afternoon and I simply love it. One of the episodes that aired on Friday was The Hole In The Heart, the episode where Broadsky killed Vincent Nigel Murray...and Bones ended up in Booth’s bed. That episode ends w/ the team singing The Lime In The Coconut. @s.elaine8 posted the song on her IG stories yesterday and it made me nostalgic for the show & the times I used to #cosplay both #TemperanceBrennan and #SeeleyBooth. Reminds me, I need to take my #skulls #tie and a couple other things to the dry cleaners. I haven’t been in a rush since it’s been years since I cosplayed Booth & I won’t be cosplaying anything any time soon. Can I safely hand wash #silkties in the sink or am I better off just trusting the dry cleaners like I usually do? 🤔 . . A book review for your Independence Day holiday. Do you have some fun plans today? Cold, Cold Bones is the 21st book in the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs. "Tempe and her daughter, Katy are having dinner when Tempe gets a package delivered to her house. It's happens to be an eyeball with some GPS coordinates etched on the side. Those coordinates link to a monastery where there's another gruesome discovery. Soon Tempe examines a mummified corpse in a state park and she becomes anxious. All of these cases are similar to many of her previous cases. Are they linked? Is the killer sending her a message? What could it be? Then the situation escalates because a child is abducted." This is one of the better Brennan stories. Things move quickly and there's just enough science and forensics to hold your interest without veering into over-explaining. And it's set in Charlotte - here in the Carolinas. There are plenty of clues to guess the bad guy but you won't guess the why or the ending. Good picks for fans of a strong, female lead. If you've only watched the show without reading any of the series this is an excellent book to start with.
