Meine aktuelle Kunstausstellung #Kontraste läuft noch bis 28.06.23 in der #hijackhamburg Galerie in Winterhude in Hamburg. Mit dabei, mein toller Künstlerkollege #JohnTonic

Täglich zwischen 14:00 und 18:00 oder nach Absprache, habt ihr Gelegenheit unsere/meine Kunst und das Kunstprojekt der Gegensätzlichkeit zu besuchen.

Stellvertretend für meine aktuelle Serie von Hamburger Sujets ist sicherlich meine Interpretation der #Elbphilharmonie in vielen unterschiedlichen Varianten.

Weitere bekannte wie neuere Werke komplettieren meinen Anteil an dieser sehenswerten Kunstausstellung, die durch die abstrakten und außergewöhnlichen Werke meines Partners in der Ausstellung bereichert werden.

Gelegenheiten diese Kunst zu sehen, bestehen auch an weiteren Orten in Hamburg.

W is for Water. I originally went in a very different direction for this letter, but scrapped it because I wasn't happy with it. So instead I thought I'd play with water calligraphy! The texture of the concrete affects the way the water sits and moves on the surface and on a relatively sunny day it begins to dry almost instantly, so you gotta move quick. Flemingdon Pavilion | Collab with TCAT & Dalla Llana School of Public Health with Steve Campos (2016) The temporary pavilion explored participatory design for public landmarks in mid-century apartment neighbourhoods lacking 'centres.' It was a multidisciplinary collab between The Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT, Nancy Smith Lea) and Dalla Llana School of Public Health, with Car Martin as a co-design consultant, and action-research led by Dr. Suzanne Jackson. With Flemingdon Park being a popular first home for many new Canadians, the pavilion co-design participants drew on their memories of public landmarks from many past homes (the colors, materials, form) while the large Flemingdon sign and combined seating borrowed from the popular ‘Toronto’ sign at Nathan Phillips Square in Downtown Toronto.
