No really it seems like every day there's something new people will yell at each other about in this fandom. It sucks bc I love the characters but the fanbase always ends up preventing me from wanting to engage in fandom stuff

Multiple posts of how “they’re a horrible person” and they’re “mischaracterizing Michael”. Headcanons don’t have to be based off canon, hence the name. And they have always said it was a headcanon.

Anon said it best, this type of behavior is actively pushing them away from engaging with the fandom, I doubt they’re the only one.

How many writers and artists are being pushed away because you cant behave?

If the ObeyMe fandom is the type of fandom to condone and engage in harassment for a HC and AU, then it’s no wonder this fandom is barren.

The last time I sat through an entire dumpster fire of a shit show was Startup thanks to Kim Seon Ho’s Han Ji Pyeong . Now am going through the same emotions with Tere Bin and Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha! I blame Wahaj Ali’s outstanding portrayal as Murtasim and Saad respectively.

Both the shows have such badly written female leads (I mean what is the writer thinking in this day and age), the melodrama and characters around the main leads make zero sense and I feel like I’m watching some 00s Indian Saas Bahu show (the reason I stopped watching Indian Hindi soaps decades ago). This is very disappointing because I have seen some great female leads in Pak dramas - Khirad in Humsafar and Kashaf in Zindagi Gulzar Hain. These two shows were a decade ago and hence it’s disappointing to see irrational aggressive, arrogant female lead in one and another playing the victim card in 2022. I expected better.

Am I dropping these shows? No - come on I can sit through any crap to watch Wahaj Ali on my screen. I’m shallow like that 😂
