thats fucking Hard cause i put some of them svsss boys thru some Shit, probably life is a current which cannot be fought which is less a fic and more of an archived twitter thread in which SQQ gets angsty drafts of PIDW and are trying desperately to stop it only for it all to go horribly wrong and everyone dies! it ends with cumplane! cause im evil! i should reformat that into something readable tbh

besides my hugging ghost kings agenda uhhh probably my dear atlas (let me hold the sky for you) which is a tianlang-jun/yue qingyuan crushing (like the cuddling method)

yep! i delete it

yes i do! any kind really, ive got everything from trans lesbian threeways to getting dommed by an actual literal computer tower (and a soft spot for tianyue which features a penis haver using a strap on)

only one! its ongoing and a tgcf/dc fusion in which jason todd comes back as a ghost and gets trained by HC and HX (with secret guest appearance from BWX if anyone is paying attention ;) ): so i can find someone to rely on (and run to them)

this is really random, but I was thinking last night about what foods Robert and Giselle don't like, but the other does (like for ex, one likes pickles, one doesn't, so the other takes it off their plate for them) and it got me curious if there's anything like that with Adam and Belle. and also, do they ever just casually eat off each other's plates or would that drive them crazy?

HEHEHE i love this. and i do feel a tad limited just because i don’t know much about 18th century french royal cuisine, BUT i do know adam and belle, so i’ll just work with what i’ve got >:3

i think they’re both very adventurous eaters! for belle it’s the fact that she grew up on an 18th century peasant diet, so now she’s like WOAGHSOGAH!!!!!! and for adam, it’s like a sensory joy for him !!! he has the opposite extreme of the typical picky eater autistic trait. he loooove trying new flavors and textures. and don’t get me wrong, he DEFINITELY has his favorites, his comfort foods for when he has a rough day 💙 but yeah they both love food, i think it’s one of their favorite parts about traveling the world together :3

that being said, taste-wise, they do still differ. adam is much more a sweet tooth, and belle likes the more bitter/sour/salty things. so they’ll both happily try anything, but the enjoyment for the actual flavor will of course vary lmao. they both don’t handle spicy food incredibly well, because. they’re french. BUT i think they’re better than average, especially belle. her palette just Adapts to crazy/hot flavors, so adam taps out before she does. but her limit still isn’t super high haha.

i do think they share food very much though. like yeah the stealing off the plate thing happens regularly — but only in private !! i think at official dinners, banquets, etc., adam is more stingy about this purely because there’s strict rules and etiquette to follow, and he wants to make a good impression wherever they go.

so i’m sure early on this happens where belle, as she’s become accustomed, tries to sneak something off his plate, and he’s like 😳😬 and she’s like 🙁🤨 and then they just brush it aside until he can explain later in the night. and she’s like oooooooh gotcha. this happens pretty frequently when they’re newly married, as you can imagine, belle’s quite the fish out of water. but she’s a quick learner for all the social etiquettes and such <3

also i CAN see them in their room and adam has a plate of macarons (One Of His Faves) and he’s been like, looking forward to eating them all day, and he gets all comfy in bed, sets the plate down for a sec to set himself up, and then belle tries to snatch the first one and he’s like AY >:0 !! and she’s like what!! we’re alone!! and takes one anyway and he’s like I WANTED THE FIRST ONE!! and she’s already eating it like >:] and he huffs and pulls the plate closer and gets all snuggly and grumpy with his book and she definitely comes back closer and annoyingly kisses his cheek and nestles against him like a cat while he sits there all like >:(

buuuut generally for the most part i think they both often have lil plates of snacks — charcuterie boards🤌, if you will — in their room and they just share it no big deal. and yeah at meals at home, they will trade food or share or what have you. adam only gets fussy about it if belle takes something he Really likes, OR if he’s had a bad/grumpy day and just doesn’t want anyone interacting with him at all ever. (and belle will still [gently] interact, when timing’s right, but she’ll leave the plates alone for the day) (and she’ll def send for a fresh plate of macarons at once !!)

oh as one final thought, i think they both kind of have food as a love language. for belle it’s obviously cooking/baking. so if she HAS the time she absolutely will make things for adam, and he loves that. but equally i think adam really likes to show his love by getting snacks for them when they’re chilling/reading together !!! like even though he’s not the one making it, the act and initiative to go get it Means something To Him. and i don’t think belle picks up on it right away but she eventually does notice that he makes a habit of being like “i’ll go get some food for us” when they’re settling down to hang out. and she finds it incredibly sweet 🥹

also…. gosh i just keep thinking about my fic where he shares macarons with his mama. that’s. yeah. you get it 😭

Oscar looked through some of his responses of his recent story 

“I think we should tell them” he said looking at you putting his phone away. You were sitting down, wearing one of his jumpers and some sweats

“Are you sure?” you asked giving him your full attention 

“Yeah, they already suspect it and plus our anniversary is coming up its a perfect time to do it” he suggested walking over to where you sat on the couch, plopping down next to you. 

He put his head on your shoulder as you moved slightly to make room for him “That would be cute. I have so many pictures I want to post of you” you told him liking his idea 

“We could also post on our stories and not give any context before actually posting” you thought out loud

“Im fine with that” he agreed, lifting his head off your shoulder and turning to fully face you 

“I love you” he told you leaning in to be met with a kiss, you giggled quickly giving him the kiss he wanted “I love you, even if you do drive me crazy” you whispered 

“Hey! I do not” he pulled away pouting “You do” you chuckled “But I love you for it” you finished.

He couldn’t fight you on that so instead he repositioned himself and curled up to you, you smiled and started brushing your fingers through his hair. Eventually you both fell asleep like that, enjoying the closeness and warmth you offered to each other.

You’ve always reminded yourself there was the possibility of seeing him when you come back home. You’ve prepared; there is nothing to say, nothing to change. Going your separate ways once the two of you had graduated from undergrad just made sense. Living states upon states from each other, working insane hours— the two of you were never going to fit together the way you did those few years. And while it hurt, neither of you wanted to hold the other back.

Your relationship was based in choice and fire and tenderness. How the bicker of back and forth turned into something soft, something sweet and erotic. You’d never been able to find the flame that sparked when you were with him with anyone else, so you’d given up.

It takes 10 years. You’d gone almost 10 years without seeing him— you come home for Thanksgiving and Christmas respectively, sometimes even the 4th of July. Aaron Hotchner never comes home. Until he does.

He says words that you never expected— words some part of you buried deep down has always wanted to hear.

“Let me call you mine, just for tonight.”

You shouldn’t even be here. He shouldn’t even be here. You’ve avoided this for so long and all it took was once for you to end up here. For you to say yes to him. Over and over you’d said yes, because what else could you say?

He’s always been your weakness. You’d agreed to coffee when you saw him in the grocery store. Said yes to dinner at coffee despite the awkward tension between you. Said yes again to coming back to his hotel room despite the tan line from his removed wedding band.

When those words— let me call you mine, just for tonight— spill from his mouth as you two stand in his hotel room, you can acknowledge that this is the perfect time to say no.

Still, you can’t bring yourself to say it. Instead you say, “We’ve done this before, Aaron. Why hurt ourselves?”

The words have hardly left your mouth before he’s answering. “Because I haven’t stopped thinking about you since you left.”

“I didn’t leave, we came to an agreement,” You grit out, arms crossed against your chest defensively. “We wanted different things, coasts apart.”

He puts his hands up in surrender, “I’m not blaming you.”

“That’s what it feels like. And you never fought for me— I posed the idea and you just went with it.”

His mouth presses into a thin line, brow furrowing in confusion, “Was I supposed to know that I was meant to fight? I always respected you and your autonomy.”

You know that he’s right. Choice and fire and tenderness.

Your shoulders drop as all the stubbornness in you disappears. You can’t look at him. “I don’t want to fight, Aaron, please. I don’t have the heart for it.

He steps forward— that’s all that’s left between the two of you after this little tiff, a single step. His hands, warm and calloused, rise to cup your face, lifting your gaze to his own.

“I know, you never have, have you, honey?” He asks gently, not a single drop of malice or condescension. “We get worked up just to fizzle out. I’m sorry, I am. But, I don’t know if I can let you walk out the door like this.”

You have to close your eyes before you drown in him. In his deep brown eyes, in his strong pine cologne that surrounds you. It’s too late, you’re sure of that when he angles your jaw further and you feel the ghost of his breath on your lips. And while it took so much strength to look away, it takes none to press your lips to his.

For a while that’s all either of you do— kiss and explore the way you’ve changed. His mouth feels the same, his tongue deep and searching but his skin is different, his beard is gone, his shoulders are firmer. He feels how you’ve become softer, how your mouth might taste even sweeter.

You pull away once your lungs burn and not a moment sooner. It could end here, you could keep all those promises you’ve made to yourself and walk away from him. Nothing and everything has changed. Once again you think that you should do the right thing to save you both. But instead, you sit on the couch and pat the spot beside you.

Rising out of bed, slowly and carefully, is one of the hardest things you’ve ever done. Not because you haven’t snuck out of bed before, leaving a one night stand or two wondering about what they did wrong. But, because Aaron’s always been it for you. Because you’re leaving the warmest bed you’ve ever known.

Dressing quietly, you press a parting kiss to his forehead, so light that you feel like a ghost. Maybe that’s what you are, a ghost in Aaron’s life the way he’s one in yours.

When Aaron wakes, he feels the chill left in your absence. He knew what he was getting himself into; he’d only asked for a night, hadn’t he?

That chill stays with him as he gets ready. But, when he reaches for his wallet, a small bit of paper falls out. He bends to pick it up, and smiles— written on the paper are familiar digits. Ones he’d deleted from his phone long ago, ones he’s been trying to forget until now.

He thinks for a moment that he should throw it away, spare you both the back and forth for something that might crumble all over again. Instead, he opens his phone, saving your number once more. His chest thaws a bit at the potential of more.

Willie catches one glimpse of Julie on her way to class and reaches for the pad of sticky notes in their backpack. Her hunched shoulders and oversized blue and black flannel(probably Ray's) illustrate how she's feeling more than any words could. No time to catch her in the passing period, but he can probably get to her locker before she does after history.

They slide into their seat just as the bell rings. Reggie shoots him a smile from his spot a few seats over. Willie returns it, and doesn't miss the big A written at the top of the quiz Mr. Hood hands him a minute later. Willie's only has a B+, but he's happy with it. Mr. Hood starts talking about some club thing after that, so Willie sets his pad of sticky notes down just inside their desk to write. They have a few to write since this morning.

A hype up note for Julie, along with a dumb joke to make her smile on her bad day.

A good luck note to Carrie for her dance performance this afternoon.

A congrats note to Reggie for his history grade, which Willie knows he worked hard for.

A reminder to Luke that they're all doing dinner at the Molinas' tonight, cause he always forgets that kind of thing.

Willie's not sure when exactly it became A Thing, them writing notes to their friends and leaving them in their lockers throughout the day. His dad is probably to blame for the start of it. Caleb started putting notes in his lunchboxes less than a year after Willie had come to live with him. Usually reminders about appointments or best wishes for tests, but sometimes they just said "I love you" in the magician's curly, elegant handwriting.

So when Willie finally made friends, it only made sense to start writing the same notes to them.

He carefully folds the notes and tucks them into his pocket for later. As fun as it would be to ask for a bathroom pass and just happen to pass all his friends' lockers on the way, they'd gotten in trouble for that a couple of times already this year. He should probably try and pay attention.

After class finally ends, they dart out of the room. He's not sure he'll be able to get everyone before they reach their lockers, but he's certainly going to try.

When he's finished and stops for a second at his own locker, Willie is greeted by Alex's soft smile as the drummer leans against his own locker. Willie doesn't dare press his own lips against Alex's, they aren't really out as a couple at school, but they return his grin and brush their fingers against his on the way to his locker handle.

"How was history?" Alex asks.

"Same old," Willie responds with a shrug. "Bunch of straight white guys making up rules and ruining everyone else's lives."

"Youch, sounds like fun," Alex says sarcastically just as Willie swings his locker open.

Willie steps back, startled, as a bunch of slips of paper fall out of their locker. They're all little squares, uniform in size if not in color. And now they're on the floor all around their feet.

"Whoops," Alex mutters, dropping to his knees and starting to gather the papers.

Willie quickly joins him on the floor and scoops up a few of the slips. It takes the two of them a minute to gather them all. Just as they finish, the bell rings.

Alex swears under his breath and hands his stack of paper to Willie. "I gotta get to class, sorry," he says, offering a smile before hurrying off.

Willie stuffs the papers into his back pocket and slams his locker shut. At least he's already close to their English classroom. A quick dash later, he's sliding into his seat just as the teacher calls his name for roll call.

With trying to pay attention in class and not get distracted by the spring leaves on the tree outside, Willie totally forgets about the papers until study hall, his last period of the day.

They shift in their chair for the millionth time, trying to get comfortable. Their pocket just feels weird underneath him. Willie reaches back to make sure some old receipt didn't end up in there or something. But instead he finds a bunch of colorful sticky notes.

Willie frowns down at the crumpled slips. Sure, he slips notes into people's lockers all the time, but he doesn't get them back much. And never this many at once. He starts laying them out across his desk, grateful for a teacher who mostly ignores them the whole period.

Each paper has a single letter on it, which was odd, but they're all written in a very familiar hand. Willie smiles softly. Alex's awkward fumbling for them suddenly makes a lot more sense.

The letters are P, W, O, M, T, H, E, I, another M, and R, with a ? on the final note. Willie grins at the challenge and begins rearranging them into words. The worm? Moth prim? Their Mom?

Oh.

Willie feels like his heartbeat can probably be heard by the whole school as they fumble for their own notepad.

YES, I would LOVE to go to prom with you!!!! they write on the little blue paper. Though maybe this one can be a hand delivery, rather than being slipped into Alex's locker. It is the end of the day after all. No use leaving their boyfriend on pins and needles any longer.

Willie carefully tucks Alex's notes into a folder, probably looking like an idiot for how wide he's grinning but not caring in the slightest. Alex just asked him to prom! Which means coming out together. Being them. For the whole school to see.

Willie can't wait.

When you drive at 300 kilometers per hour, you are susceptible to unexpected accidents. It was part of the risk of doing that. Peter knew it. You knew it very well too. That didn’t mean you would have felt better when you watched as it crashed into the concrete wall. Alpha Tauri didn’t have the best car that year, they were still trying to fine-tune it and only Aston Martin and Williams had been further back in the constructors’ championship table. Pierre had been pushing the car to the max and had continued to push that weekend at his home Grand Prix.

He had been conscious after getting out of the car but they had had to put him to sleep to finish running a couple of tests. Pierre had been a little dizzy when they put him in the ambulance too, so they were going to keep him under observation for a few hours until a concussion was ruled out. In addition, the doctors had diagnosed him with an acute spinal cord injury but it was not serious so they hoped they could release him late at night at the latest. The old injury that Pierre dragged in his vertebrae because of a car accident that he had had with his parents when he was younger had not yet been evaluated. They had to wait for him to wake up for that.

You were worried, and you kept thinking that if he needed rest; he would not want to. Pierre was stubborn, and you doubted he would agree to take it easy for a few days. His definition of calm was to keep going to the gym instead of spending two hours doing just one.

You liked to play sudoku when you were nervous and usually Pierre would complete the words you didn’t know or you would try to solve them between the two of you. He liked to pretend he was dumb, but you knew he had been a nerd in school.

“Having fun without me?” His voice interrupted you, and you jumped in place, placing a hand on your heart.

“A notice would have been nice,” you replied, causing him to burst out laughing before wincing.

“Water” He panted almost voicelessly. You reached for a glass from the bedside table and handed it to him.

“Here”

After he took a sip, you took the glass again to put it aside.

“I’m done with the race?” He asked.

You nodded in response. The race finished almost three hours ago.

“How did that end?”

“Verstappen won, Hamilton and Russell after him, Charles had a DNF as soon as the race resumed”

“He must be furious,” Pierre commented.

“Yes, his radio was very self-explanatory,” you said and searched the Formula One app for Charles’s radio after going off into one of Paul Richard’s corners.

Your boyfriend hissed back, “Yeah, he’s definitely not happy, reliability issues again?”

You shook your head “Apparently not this time, he said it was all his fault”

“Charles won't say it out loud either if that’s the case.” Pierre rolled his eyes.

“Yuki also had a DNF after colliding with Ocon, I think”

“Ugh, au con” He grunted and you let out a laugh. He pronounced Ocon as ‘au con’ on purpose, which translated to stupid in French.

“And I think overall that’s it”

“I’m so mad,” He complained, leaning his head against the pillow.

“I know,” you paused “That crash was scary though”

“It looked worse than it was”

“They were picking up your car parts for almost forty minutes after they took you out of there,” you pointed out. It wasn't ‘worse than what it was‘. It was horrible to watch, and that was it.

“That bad?” Pierre frowned “I only felt the impact”

“It looked horrible. I thought you had passed out at one point when you didn’t respond on the radio.” Everyone in the garage had done it when his engineer received no response on the radio.

“Between the heat and the shock, I almost made it,” he admitted.

“How does your back feel?” You asked, leaning a little closer to him.

“It hurts,” He sighed “The vertebrae...?”

“Too soon to say, but they think you should be fine. You have an acute spinal injury that would not be serious and the concussion,” you informed him.

“I hope to get out of here soon,” He moaned “I hate hospitals”

You nodded your head. Your heart had returned to beating a little more normally. Even though the doctor had told you that everything was fine, you didn’t calm down until he saw he was awake. “That was scary,” you said after a couple of minutes of silence.

“I’m good, I promise” He reached out to take your hand.

“It was scary nonetheless” You swallowed hard before he kissed your hand in an attempt to comfort you.

“I know,” He nodded “I’m sorry you have to go through that”

“Perks of the job, isn’t it?” You responded with a sigh.

“Yeah”

“Did the doctors tell you when I’m going to leave this place?” Peter asked.

“Maybe tonight. They have to finish running some scans and the doctor will be here any minute.”

“Good,” He stirred in bed “I hate hospitals”

“I know, but to keep repeating that won’t make it any better,” you scoffed.

“I can try” He winked at you and you knew everything was fine. At least he was in a good mood, which was a start. “Did you finish it?” Pierre asked, nodding at the sudoku puzzle.

“I left you some that I didn’t know”

“Topic for today?”

“Motorsports” You let out a giggle. At least sudoku was on topic.

“I like that,” He nodded “I don’t think I can read them or move enough to write. Can you read them to me?”

“Sure” You agreed. With one hand intertwined with his and the other with a pencil, both completed the sudoku. The worst was over. The hours of waiting before knowing he was okay. Now you knew Pierre was fine. He was going to ache for a couple of ideas and he was going to cry about not being able to do his full gym routine, but everything was going to go back to normal, eventually.

Why yes of course, you know I'm always happy to talk about them!!!

When I started shipping them: I'm not fully sure to be honest. Probably around the hug the first time I watched the show, which would have been late October-ish of 2020, but I don't think I really got super invested in them until a couple months later. I was unfortunately still in the beginning stages of dealing with the internalized homophobia I grew up around when I watched it for the first time. So it took me a bit to be okay with how much I liked and connected to them.

My thoughts: THEMMMMM<333333333333333 That's it, that's the thought. Okay that's a lie. I've gone on many a rant about how good they are for each other and stuff(one of which I posted here a while back...You do not want to know how much scrolling it took for me to find that.) But like, they're just really good for each other and they make each other happy and they communicate and I just love them, okay?!

What makes me happy about them: The way they take care of each other. Yeah they both screw up, but they both develop this instinct to make sure the other is okay and to help them if they aren't. Think Willie taking them to the club cause he wanted to help, Alex making sure Willie is okay after kidnapping the original opening band in ep 9, ect.

What makes me sad about them: CALEB GETTING IN BETWEEN THEM! It just hurts to see them pushed apart by stupid evil gay jazz hands ghost man >:(

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: When either of them are stripped down to a single personality trait. Like when Alex is just anxious or Willie is just goofy. They're complicated characters with a lot of layers and I hate it when people ignore that.

Things I look for in fanfic: Fluff, good communication, healthy relationships goodness gracious, happy endings?

My wishlist: Still not sure what this is asking, but I would love more goofy dates, good conversations, and yelling in museums for these two.

Who I’d be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: Okay, I literally can't imagine a world where these two know each other and aren't in love, but I think I would be okay with Alex ending up with Reggie or Bobby, and Willie I could see with Bobby maybe?

My happily ever after for them: Free from evil ghost magicians, they live together for a good long time. They both become sort of alive, but with the ghost skills still cause stuff. Alex has a great career with the band, Willie tags along and splits their time between hanging out with the band and helping out local LGBTQ+ nonprofits. And reading. Mostly audio books cause focus is hard, but Willie loves to learn. When they're both free, they like to explore the city together, or other cities when they're on tour. They get a long, happy life together.

You Won’t Believe Who Richmond’s Hottest Player Is! - I have a lot of love for all my Ted Lasso fics, but I’m proudest of this one because I got to play around with a bunch of voices and I like to think I got pretty close to all of them. I’ve enjoyed carving out my little gen niche for this fandom and this was a fave to add to it

3. Butter(bar)flies - This one was one I wasn’t going to write. It’s a S1 based Miluca and I knew it wouldn’t get that much attention, but I really feel strongly about the dynamic I created here in a pre-canon setting, so I’m very proud of it. As well, it was one of the fics (of many) this year that helped me enjoy the writing process for what it is and not just seeking feedback

4. Let’s Finish What We Started - This is the futurefic Alex/Henry from RWRB that I basically wrote because I wanted to see a little future angst. I love future angst, what can I say? I’m proud that I wrote it, but also that I wrote it to its fullest, aka, not just a small sliver, but a whole piece. 

5. Make An Ass Out of U & Me - I love this one just because it was modern Joe/Nicky and fun because I enjoyed making Nicky think that Joe and Booker were together when really, they were just stupid idiots pining for each other
