Spider-Man/Deadpool and The Amazing Mary Jane rearranged something in my brain back when I read them.

Most of the current comics with these characters have left me disappointed since then.

The depth that these runs went into with characterization surprised and enticed me because I'd gone in expecting them to be mostly funny, and they were definitely humorous, but then they also had such a genuine approach to who these characters were.

I miss when Marvel Comics did more runs like that...
