One of my biggest pieces of advice for those taking injectable hormones is to make sure you're injecting at the right angle

For intramuscular (IM), you inject at a 90° angle.

For subcutaneous (SQ), you inject at a 45° angle.

So if this isn't a dream or an AU it's pretty safe to assume that the LIs have been altered in some way. Something is clearly off, and not just with their actions but their appearance and manner (for example the dilated pupils, Sylus showing off his tongue I felt so uncomfortable during that part help this isn't you babe,). As spelled out by the dwindling sanity meter they've lost their marbles and the fucking plot, so to speak. And with this, they've also lost control and pose as real threats to MC.

So... can you imagine how devastated they'll be when they are snapped out of their insanity and are hit by the realization that they tried to do harm to their beloved? Their soulmate? The one person in the world that they treasure above all else? The same girl that they'd all burn the whole world down for if it meant her survival?

They've dedicated their lives to protecting her. They've used their own bodies to shield her from danger.

It'll be soul crushing to realize that this time they were the danger.

let's all think about roman literally on his knees at gerri’s feet, begging to be saved. but you can’t be saved from Logan, that’s the whole point, he is a planet of a person he’s a black hole he is every decision already made. gerri tries to get him to see this — there’s no way out, no move they could possibly make against him, because Logan. always. wins. maybe if roman could give her one reason to fight for him, but there aren’t any. it’s pointless. it has nothing to do with roman, really, and everything to do with the harsh reality that Logan is the center of their universe. but all that nuance is completely lost on roman, because in that room he is seven years old again and always. and when she asks how it serves her interests, what she is saying is show me a way out, but what he hears is that she doesn't care about him. and maybe she never did.

Okay so the thing with JayVik is that it’s really the juxtaposition of Viktor with Mel (Jayce’s canon love interest of a time and who he clearly still has some kind kf feelings for) when it comes to Jayce it’s always Viktor and Mel literally one after the other. When Jayne hallucinates into the fire it’s Mel that morphs into Viktor. Like that brings to mind such a specific connotation.

Like I’m not a die hard Jay Vik honestly think they should just be a threesome with Mel. But like why are people acting so suprised? Why are the creators acting surprised that people see them romantically? Like y’all are the ones that did that! Nobody made you do that!😭😭. If you wanted their relationship to feel more brotherly then the people they should have contrasted them with is Jinx and Vi. Like I know narratively they mirror each other but imagery wise it’s not there. Like they did this with Silco and Vander they damn well could have done it with a Jayce and Viktor if they wanted but no they choose to contrast Viktor with Mel…… and you’re suprised by the ship?

their hands are shaking too much(love this one)/they have a bad fever and are delirious/don't have the strength to move an inch/or more

Then we have what the treatment is?

Cleaning, disinfecting, bandaging are the basics, how about an injection(go old timey and you can do morphine for painkillers), or full on surgery if you want intense scenarios(just think about it!! Whumpee has to be up and giving instructions for the entire ordeal I don't know how but make it happen if you want), holding broken bones in place, putting in dislocated limbs, stopping the bleeding with their own clothes, these are like just off the back of my head

If you go with bad fever and delirious you can say the Caretaker(or Whumper) realizes halfway through following instructions that Whumpee's instructions are wrong and will put Whumpee in more harm

Then we get what the reaction is

Perhaps Whumpee can't help but laugh at the bad job they're doing, even in this awful situation, and Caretaker laughs weakly along

or screams for them to do it quick, then maybe apologizes later

or completely disoriented in pain, tapping ground with finger furiously, groaning, repeating instructions quietly
